Best place to buy if you want off contract/not in US

Hey guys, first I want to thank everyone on these forums for making it possible for me to root 3 devices so far and the awesome roms/kernels shared here. Here is my small contribution!
Best place to order Galaxy Nexus for international users (im Australian) so far is:
handtec [dot] co [dot] uk
It is unlocked, pentaband version (no LTE).
It is a reasonable GBP$419, which translates to EUR$418 or USD$661
Postage by courier internationally is GBP$25.
I've preordered from here, if you find a better offer let me know! (they will reduce the price through pricematching).

Erm, unless you're a company and can claim VAT back, you'll be paying £500 for that phone, not £419...

If you live in EU and you buy a item from another EU country then you will pay VAT.
If you have a company with valid EU VAT number and buy a item from another EU country then you don't pay VAT.
And 419GBP is ~487EUR (not 418).

I wish I could order it, but I know I would end up paying half it's price in taxes anyways.

Handtec have always been great for me - usually quite a bit cheaper thanks Clove as well.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was just looking for a way to get the phone sooner. Because no one really knows when the HSPA+ version will come out in the states. I was guessing not until next year. Hopefully sooner.

I halfway expect to hear of a GSM launch date by the Verizon launch. Just hope a T-Mobile version will be available by Christmas.

Pre-purchase questions

Im a little late getting this phone, could be this 16th that i order it, could be March, obviously im pulling for the 16th.
Now I've been loading Negri's site everyday to see the current price of the 16 GB titanium silver one, as thats probably going to be the cheapest.
now i see they also sell the "Canada version" >Seen Here<
And im wondering the differences from UK version? and why its cheaper? import taxes less?
Also: What do you guys think the white Galaxy Nexus will be when it is launched? and how much do you think it'll drop the titanium/silver version too?

I have the device. Its from Canada, not the UK, so they got a better deal on them obviously and are able to sell for less (got a better wholesale price and saved on shipping probably). I also think they're saving because the charger in the box works in the USA, whereas with the UK version they had to include a USA charger separately.
There are a few small coupons rolling around that can take $10-$20 off that price also. And standard FedEx shipping with Negri is always free.
It is not yakju, it's a yakju** variant (updates a couple weeks behind, read up on it). I flashed mine to yakju 4.0.2 right after I bought it no problem. Everything is great.
Also: What do you guys think the white Galaxy Nexus will be when it is launched? and how much do you think it'll drop the titanium/silver version too?

It'll probably be around $675 if I had to guess. They can't make any promises. you'll find out in a week. I had it on pre-order at $680, but it just wasn't worth it when I got my Titanium from them for $565.

All i9250 versions are pentaband. I'm using mine on T-Mobile US just fine.

Awesome. So I just might go for that one, since it's cheaper, and the white doesnt bother me, it would have been nice to have, not for the money tho. THANKS!

I will, i cant wait to finally have a Nexus device, ever since my G1 i fell in love with android, and this will just be EPIC! Thanks for the info you gave me, i truly appreciate it, i could probably have looked it up, but i figured if there was something wrong with it or what-have-you i wouldn't have found it on any site but here. thanks.

Sellers are advertising i9250's they say will work on GSM 700, AT&T's "4G" LTE service. Can this be true, or false advertising?? Uh, never mind. Did a search, should have known better. Guess HSDPA+="4G".

LTE and hspa+ Are both considered 4G.
The I9250 version only supports hspa+. Verizon one is LTE but only works on their network.

FYI - Unlocked T-Mo Note 3 $669 (EDIT: Cancelled: Stay away from Negri Electronics)

EDIT: Sorry guys, but this coupon code is no longer valid. But it was fun while it lasted, huh. Also, as of 10/8 Negri has increased their price for the unlocked T-Mobile Note 3.
Went to Negrielectronics. Their price is $689, and I used a coupon code (NE20OFFCART) for $20 off, for a total of $669. This is considerably less than T-Mobile's unlocked cost ($704+tax). I got free shipping (Fedex Ground) and no tax as well.
Availability shows as 10-4-13, so i'm hoping that mine ships no later than Monday, as i'm probably not in the first batch of pre-order shipments. EDIT: Now says 'Coming Soon'.
Negri's website now shows the White T-Mobile Note 3 as 'In Stock' with 'Add to Cart' (instead of 'Preorder'). The Black version, however, still says 'Preorder'. Also, Negri's blog (http://goo.gl/iTQyTv) states that the first orders are being shipped out as of yesterday (9/8), and at least one person has stated in this thread that they have received their tracking number.
If you have received your tracking number, please post below with your pre-order date, which color you ordered, as well as your expected delivery date. It will help people figure out where they are in the queue.
Forget all of the above. I have cancelled my order with Negri Electronics. After three weeks of waiting for them to ship, Negri posted on their blog and basically confirmed what many of us have suspected for the last couple of days. Negri is buying their devices from shady suppliers who are selling them used devices. This has resulted in at least of couple of people who thought they were getting NEW Note 3s actually having their devices BLACKLISTED on T-Mobile. In addition, at least one person has received a device rooted with Knox tripped (and thus a voided warranty).
I was willing to put up with the three week delay (though now I feel like an idiot for doing so), but these new issues are unacceptable in my opinion.

I have heard that the black one has a better soft-touch feel while the plastic has a hard plastic feel (I played with one at an AT&T store).

I don't know about a bootloader. I think the unlocked refers to the SIM unlock so that it can be used with any GSM carrier.

They haven't shipped any yet to my knowledge, but I don't see why they would advertise it as unlocked when it is not. But when I get mine I will confirm.

I asked in Chat about the Unlocked and they said I had to select a wireless plan. But I'm thinking they were just trying to push the sales up. I even sent them the link to the phone. But that was untrue.

Thank you for the reply, Reading here on XDA the T-mobile US phones did not have the region lock stickers on them, thats why I was wondering.

I thought wifi calling was an Android feature that works with T-Mobile and not a T-Mobile feature as per se.

True. With amazon u get the freebies. Only thing is it takes longer to get to you. The one on ebay is with free fedex 2 day shipping and is a little cheaper. But the freebies are awesome.

From the amazon link it says 5-10 days. They shipped mine out within 24 hours from TW via DHL.

I called Amazon, I paid $659... Amazon said that my order wasn't going to have any import tax fee... I really hope it will be a very fast shipping. By the way, this one come with the QuadBeat 3 Headset, and possibly a plastic back too!

That's cool. are those good headphones? I rarely use any outside of the gym. Of course a backup back is nice too incase i have do use a case at some point for outdoor stuff.
I was kind of hoping it would come with the extra battery some come with since I don't think we'll be able to get the free battery promo

Yeah I'm definitely going to try since it is from Amazon, but I won't be surprised it they say but the seller isn't Amazon. Them I'll wine and complain and hope they give it to me anyways .

Well think like this... This LG G4 is the international global version, which is free from carriers bloatware, that you can't uninstall unless you root it . Also, future updates comes first to the international model... With QuadBeat headphones, leather and plastic back... For $659 its not bad at all... And, you dont need to pay for tax....
The LG G4 Leather Att cost $669 PLUS TAX... Which it will bring to the cost of $750...

I pre ordered the international version before the recall but B&H has but the phone on back order. Does anyone know a reliable website to buy a fixed one?

Has any other canadian ordered from here?
Any hidden fees? Will I get a n unexpected surprise at my door for customs and duty?

I bought one from them on Sunday night and it arrived today. It's perfect, exactly as described. I'm very happy with the experience so far.

How long was the shipping and which carrier? Any custom fees?

Well, I bought it Sunday and it arrived today, so 3 days for shipping. No customs fees and I'm on T-Mobile. Good luck!

Thanks just placed my order earlier today. Hope i can get away from the duty or customs fee. Those hurt lol

Darn now that production of the note 7 has stopped. I'm wondering if I need to get a refund for my order. My phone is in the mail I have yet to receive it. Has anyone tried returning the phone back to mobyshop?
Should i refuse to accept and have it sent back to seller?
I loved the note series but if this is the end of the note 7. I may not want to buy a new unsupported device that may become obsolete in the coming days.
Anyone else in the same predicament? Thoughts?

I contacted mobyshop today and they said they were still waiting on information from Samsung Singapore before proceeding. I'm going to give them another few days to see how this all plays out.
It's a damn shame, they were great to deal with and the Note7 is the best phone I've ever used by far.

Please keep us updated. I just received the phone today. But I'm not going to be using it til i get clarification if there will be continued support for the note 7 or if it's done.
I'm still using the original note 7 ver.1 lol. Got the replacement ver.2. Then sold it because i wanted an exynos instead of the snapdragon. Was gonna send out ver.1 after I got the safe exynos version.
And now im stuck with the phone through an international seller lol.
Please keep us posted on how it all plays out with mobyshop as id be interested on how they would deal with us international buyers.
