[Q][SOLVED] Acer Keyboard Bluetooth layout - Acer Iconia Tab A100

Hello all. I am a happy owner of an Acer Iconia Tab A100, and I bought a Bluetooth Keyboard Original Acer, model AK00LB. The problem is the layout, stuck on the U.S. International while I would like the Italian one. It is possible to change it? I saw that there is a patch for the A500 model, it is possible to use it also for the A100? Or there is an app that can change the physical layout of the keyboard. Thank you. Paki

if anyone interested I used this solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1165764

Hi guys
I bought an HTC touch pro II in Germany and installed a Portuguese rom. However the physical keyboard is not properly configured. When I use the 2nd function I type one character and it shows another on the screen. Does anyone can give an idea how to solve it?
Thanks

Solution: German APPLE WIRELESS KEYBOARD with Xoom

Hi to all,
annoyed of searching and not finding any solution to have a german keylayout on my German Apple Wireless Keyboard connected to the Zoom, i wrote my own German (QWERTZ) .kl and .kcm files. Now for all of those, who wants a german Keyboardlayout on the Xoom with their german Apple Keyboard, here are the files to install on your rooted device.
Please let me know, if it works for you.
Greetings from Germany
no feedback at all :-( ?
Well, what have you expected?
I guess most Apple keyboard owners own no xoom, most Xoom owners use the Moto one.
Never the less: appreciate your work and please keep it up!
Sent from my HTC Desire
Hope you still use and update this mod allready wrote to your thread on handy-faq.de today i have my xoom since two weeks and my apple wireless keyboard and apple wirless magic mouse since one week and realy love your work. I wish the would be F1 (menu should be F3) for home, and F2 for last used apps (with that and Tiamat 2.2.2 you could make screenshots when you longpress F2)

[Q] Changing keyboard layout (hw keyboard)

Dear,
Previous year I bought a desire Z in Belgium. It came with a french hardware keyboard (in Belgium and France, we use a AZERTY keyboard).
So the device is equipped with a AZERTY keyboard.
A few weeks ago I bought a completely new motherboard for this phone.
I replaced the board (it is a 'revision' board I think, some Chinese ROM was installed).
I rooted the new phone/motherboard immediately and installed Andromadus Mimicry.
Now I have a problem that the hardware keyboard is 'programmed' in the ROM as a qwerty layout.
So if I type a 'a' on the keyboard, the motherboard interpretes this as a 'q'.
How can I change this?
Anyone have an idea?
I know that there is a folder /system/usr/keychars and also a folder /system/usr/keylayout.
Maybe I need to replace files stored in this folder, if so, what files do I need to replace and where can I find them?
Thx very much 4 assistance!
cyberbozzo
I have managed to remap my hardware keyboard with the help of this guide There a couple of threads about this sort of problem with Mimicry,That guide works on gingerbread and hopefully it may be of use to you.
I have find the thread with the guide, thx.
But it is quietly impossible to change all the keys (including characters, using FN and so on)...
I have in the /system/usr/keychars a fome vision keypad fra.kcm
This is the layout I need to use.
Does anybody have an idea how I can 'activate' this layout?

[Q] belkin portable bluetooth keyb and the nexus 7

hey guys did a quick search on this forum about any issues regarding the belkin portable bluetooth keyboard case voor 7" tabs
http://www.belkin.com/au/p/P-F5L145/
this actually made for the ipad mini but should be compatible with the nexus 7 2nd gen.
i have my default language settings and input to dutch(belgium) so my virtual keyboard is set in azerty in stead of qwerty.
the belkin i bought has azerty layout , but tho when i connect/pair keyboard in goes qwerty mode no matter what.
Try different settings , even changed to US setting ... qwerty all the way.
Then did a pairing with adn iphone, note 2 then i get normal azerty but to nexus 7 is stays qwerty.
anyone having this issue and/or know how to sort this out ? or is this just an issue with the nexus 7 2013 only ?
thnx in advance

[Q] Alternate keyboard layout for external keyboard without root?

Hi,
Devices: FireTV with actual firmware (non root) and K830 keyboard.
Works flawless (keyboard an mouse), but ...
I got german keyboard layout and the layout in FireTV is english.
Its ok, but it would be much better to get a german keyboard layout.
Any ways to get that without root (or even with root, although i guess its impossible to get it for me)?
Thanks in advance.
I actually have a question about logitech k830 itself.
Does it work without any issue with Amazon Fire TV?
