[Q] Help playstore not automatically restore apps.

after I flashed a new rom all my apps from play store hasn't automatically restore making It difficult to me to go manually Install 100+ apps.
any thoughts? Is anyone facing same Issue? how can I fix It?
thx
Hi,
I wouldn't rely myself on the automatic restore in Google Play when changing roms. I always use an app to dump a list of all installed apps, and restore them manually since the autorestore almost always stops somewhere in between.

Google always works for me when I reflash a rom but I only have 30 + apps
Whenever I clean out my device and do a clean install of a new ROM, Google never recognizes the change. If it is the same ROM, no problem.

Hi! Did wiping cache help?
I have the same issue on rooted stock 4.4.2.
Getting the same on xKat v3 rom! When I use MPlayerX I get the problem consistently while VLC player gives it sporadically.
Rebooting or disabling UI overlay in developer options fixes it. Samsung has to fix it in their next update make sure to submit the bug to samsungs support so they are more aware of it.
Note 10.1 Kitkat Fullscreen video flickers
Yes, I had same problem, with Samsung note 10.1 kitkat 4.4.2
I think Samsung needs to fix it.
Following is workaround for problem:
Try to check the option to always use the GPU for rendering graphics in the developer options and check the option MSAA and turn off hardware overlays.
This solved problem for me
Fullscreen HW accelerated video sometimes flickering on my refurb device.
Fix: launch camera app and problem is gone.
solved flickering

hi dear
could be due to magnetic field in cover(case) interfere with screen display.
please remove the case and try again.

Im glad im not the only one w this issue...i would just do a reset n then it was gone.
Had this problem start happening out of the blue (as in NOT after rooting or accepting an update, etc.). First noticed it when playing internet videos (Facebook, embedded YouTube, etc.) on fullscreen, but then it started happening with all videos (whether using stock player, MX, etc.) for full movies that I have on my external SD card. Running stock rooted with TWRP recovery.
Wiping cache solved it completely for me. Of course, wiping cache with too new of a version of TWRP recovery caused my cache partition to be unmountable, resulting in boot loops and all kinds of issues, but that's another story entirely! Solved the new problem by switching to Philz recovery, wiped cache again, and everything was fine. I probably would've been fine just downgrading my version of TWRP as well, but I'm using Philz recovery on my Note 2 phone, too, so I'm fine with using it on the tablet as well.

{q}where is the system update, vpn, data, sim option gone in oxygen os 3.5.5?

I suppose this happened after rooting
See the screenshot attached
Now after few hours sim card , vpn and data options vanished
installed over another version? I had no problems after installing 3.5.5 to 3.2.7 OOS. then as a matter of habit did a factory reset option and always he was.

Cannot update (Android Wear 1.5)

Hi everyone.
I've just bought this smartwatch and I'm new about using it. So, I tried to install Android Wear 2.0. I go to settings>information>system updates and start to download the update. When it finishes (it takes a lifetime), the installation stops and I have to start again. It's always the same, I've reseted the device and still happens.
Does someone know what am I doing wrong?
I've bluetooth connected and paired, also wifi.

9.5.19 ota stuck at 73%

Hi all, Updater keeps telling me there's the 9.5.19 update so I decided to install it.
I found it stuck at 73% download for 2 days.
So I decided to solve the situation following various suggestion here on this XDA forum and did this: deleted downloaded_rom/* file (it was 113,8 mbytes even if Updater was saying 73% downloaded), then I went to setup>applications and forced stop and deleted cache and data on Updater app.
Now if I go to Updater to download the update again It's still there it keep saying 73% download but I think it is not tell me the right thing . Is it a bug or what?

good for you, unless you dont care it has anti-roll back. so its a good thing in a way
Open download app and pause downloading (OTA zip), now goto setting about software update and click on download, now it will continue to download. if you still face problem download ota file separately from official website and copy it to mobile and then update it using select update package option
Thx all. At last I managed to make it work... Don't remember now but was a combination of remove any file in /downloaded_rom, deleting cache and the other voice of Installed apps for Updater, reboot phone and tap on every angle of the screen in the hope to make it works.
Anyway now I'm on 9.5 19... It seems smoother than before...
And I don't need to go back to an older firmware version

9.5.19 enables Antirollback protection so do not flash older firmware file or donot flash older version of MIUI (Ex : 9.5.17)
