Can you find your telephone # in here ?
http://tndb.us
If yes, make a case with your provider/carrier because it violation of your privacy, and can be used by scamers and telemarketing companies. I found this and my number and name on it by coincidence...
Main directory numbers are AREA codes, second directory is 3 digit middle number and last directory is 4 last diggits of your phone (etc 707/662/8955)

Luckily my number wasn't in the database, but still this is crazy. But then again any reverse lookup would give you the same information.

Epic 4G Touch perfected by Tiff and Calk!
It's a site that collects user info (name, phone #) from US customers, and there is big chanses that those information are realised by our carriers (no guarantee)

Totally interesting. I always thought you couldnt reverse lookup cell phone numbers. And I wonder why some peoples numbers are listed and others arent. Interested what sprint has to say about this.

Is it possible to take an IMEI from an old T-Mobile razr (not in use anymore) and use QPST to put it in a GS3 and have it work?
Its a class D felony to knowingly, and with intent, alter a phones IMEI number.
But it's possible....hehe

Same reason why changing a car's VIN#'s illegal: it's almost always lowlife criminals who want to do it.
Yes, its possible. But I'm not going to tell you how to do it.

With StarStar Me, you can use your name, nickname, or handle as your phone number. Instead of giving out 10 hard-to-remember digits, provide the people you meet with a memorable mobile number, like **SARAH, that distinguishes you from the crowd.
To sign up for StarStar Me, Sprint customers can simply call **ME (**63). The service costs $2.99/month per StarStar Me number. Sprint subscribers can have two StarStar Me numbers per mobile phone number.

This would have been cool in 1995. We have infinite contact lists these days. Besides, this only works on Sprint for now. Who actually dials phone numbers anymore except for the one time initially creating the contact? This is especially true now that we have portable numbers.

There was a TED talk in the UK where a guy sued to get the data his carrier was holding onto. They had a literal map of his life, everywhere he went, his msgs and everything....and was logged so well he was able to create a visual map of his life based on that data.
Its illegal for the provider to keep our informations , right?

A lot of things are "illegal," but unfortunately a lot of companies don't care. We'll find out for sure when somebody sues someday and somebody else gets caught with their pants down.
they could inspire a reality show with my data. ok, at least a divorce attorney.
lol idk how or why my phone got this message now =.=
been using it for ~2-3 months and everything is good
if anyone know how to fix this, please tell me
i even asked a technician from my carrier to register my imei too but so far not working..
imei is still intact btw.

This confirms exactly what I was saying. I know is coming, but it's not here yet. So for the time being the op can use the phone on prepay. For how long who knows.

Sure....I called too and they said as compensation if your phone ends up blocked they'll give you a new note 4 in place of it.
By the way my point still stands, for this minute he can use it on prepaid. Oh and based on what you just said
"They'll do it on activation of service."
If is activated now he'll be good when they make the switch. I'm not sure where you're trying to go with the besides start a fight you're losing and looking stupid doing at the same time.
And for the record I have at mobile account with an active note I was just trying to help the OP my start a fight not sure why you even jumped in
