These three are the most common for a reason.
AOKP is packed full of features
Kernel lasts forever and has constant updates
Nova Launcher is like the stock launcher but makes it great by adding some extra features.

franco
nova
This looks nice

I tried Launcher Pro when I first got the Nexus, only issue I had was when I tried to use the Calendar widget the launcher would get fc's. If I didn't use the calendar widget I had no issues. Now I use Nova Launcher and love it.
I use Handcent without issues on the Nexus.

It's similar, feature wise I'd say LP has more at the moment. But considering Nova is still relatively new I'd say it will get more features in the future, Nova is more of an extension of the stock launcher.
Thanks

I am currently using Redux rom and Go Launcher.
What about you guys.
Supernova rom with Go launcher EX
Reflex S 2.1.9 with hTC Sense (I really fancy Sense with those knicks and knacks of it) or Devnull 1.1 with Launcher Pro +
I use both ROM (when i get bored with one then i switched to the other by restoring from reco)
MIUI with ADW EX
Oxygen with LauncherPro.
AuraxTremeGinger with LauncherPro.
Zeam is fast too, though it misses some options for dock customization.
Yeah Go Launcher Ex. I used LauncherPro Plus for ages, but homescreen transitions were not smooth on the virtual loop. Go is much better at that and faster too.
i'm using ADW launcher EX might have to try out go launcher ex
MIUI with Go launcher EX and GO weather
Ginger Villain 2.8 with Go Launcher Ex
Sent from my HTC Desire using xda premium
Had GingerVillain 2.8 with Launcher Pro Plus... 8/10
Now Redux2 with Go Launcher Ex (and WidgetLocker)... 10/10
Cm7 and launcher pro
Btw has anyone else noticed launcher pro stopped updating? Has developer abandonned it?

I had this peoblem too. Unless you root and use something like miui or roms that mimic Samsung, Motorola launchers, you might be out of luck.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the ICS Launcher.
Just curious as to what is the most popular launcher used by the forumites. I am currently using ADW launcher.
Im using Go launcher. Been using it for a while. Its very smooth for me, and I like the task killer in the app drawer. Also very customizable, and lots of themes to choose from. Most are free to.
Touchwiz on Jugg 4.0
Does the job, looks good. Altho GoLauncher is also good and free, no lag.

I've used both Go Launcher and Zeam. Like them both. Right now I'm using Go on my SGS2 and Zeam on my Touchpad that I've ported MIUI on.
What is the best looking launcher which allows all of my stock widgets to be placed + is lightweight with alot of free ram and for GB???
Alot to ask for.
I use Holo Launcher and I've seen my free ram get up to 277MB
Smart Launcher Pro is pretty light. The UI is rather nice, too, if you like simple and organized.
Try out GO Launcher.

Afaik launcher pro, go launcher, and holo should all work with "stock widgets". Although I don't know what widgets are in question.
Perhaps OP could clarify?

Stock widgets are the ones integrated on Timescape launcher, like the stock music player widget, photos and videos widget, weather widget, timescape widget, etc etc...
No launcher can (at the moment) can use them:

Zeam is my favorite GB launcher. They took 'lightweight' to hilarious extremes in making it.
Anyone know of a Touchwiz weather clone that will work on AOSP? I know you can flash the the TW launcher and weather widgets to AOSP now, but I like using launchers like Apex Or nova.... Any suggestions? Looking for a widget that changes the background of the widget as the weather changes...
Thanks!
Yeah download UCCW and a theme or skin like gs4 or gs3 style weather widget

Yeah I think I tried that, but they don't really update link the actual widget do they? I mean, if it's raining, I like how the widget has rain drops within it... Not trying to be picky, but wondering if there's anything like that out there
Oh I see. Well I know that go weather has themes that actually change with the weather but they don't look like touch wiz. Some are better.

You can flash the s4 launcher. Doesn't work on touchwiz roms from my experience but works flawlessly on aosp ROMs. There's a thread here in the apps and games forum that links you to the official thread

Thanks for the info, but at the same time, it's not what I was looking for. There's no way to get that particular widget on another launcher like Nova... Nova is way more customizable and looks much better than TW in my opinion. I tried to give Nova root (Which apparently isn't necessary anymore on JB) and still can't insert that widget. Oh well, thanks anyways
