I flashed latest leaked XXLPH which includes this version of swype but I can't find both options... Any help ?

In swype settings, there is an option like language options(it can be different words, I don't know exact word because I am using Turkish language in phone) and "get more languages" in it. You can download other languages from there.

You can uninstall your swype and then install this beta one. Maybe it works.

Hi there, i'm getting this error "this version of swype has an invalid license and will operate with limited functionality. etc"
Basically swype doesn't work, it can only be used as a normal keyboard. I was a big idiot when I first installed it and hadn't deleted the swype installer. I've tried reinstalling multiple times after removing the swype installer but I still get this message. Is there any way to get it working? I don't like swype beta, i think it's ugly haha.

Uninstall swype using Titanium backup and then follow the instructions on the website. I really like the new horizontal word predictor instead of the popup and the tap correction is also a godsend.
The new beta is nice, text selection seems to be better, double clicking words is back which ive been missing bad! The word selection window is different too, cant decide if i like it or not yet.

id imagine it would overwrite it as I couldn't instal them side by side,
Although the stock one is in system/app and the new one is in data/app.
I wouldn't expect samsung to update to the new version though (3.x) as the
Stock and beta ones both have different layouts.

You want jet black full. Galaxy S layout is for the old galaxy S stock layout, its nothing like the beta. do you use qwerty or qwertz?
Edit : Btw it only works with the beta, not with the built in swype.
I like it very much, use it now also on Galaxy Tab where it has a smaller variant than original keyboard...
Any links to the themes?
Mine's just stuck at "Licensing Swype, please wait..."

Nop, I froze my old swype and installed the new one and it worked fine.
But when i restarted the phone, the dictionary failed to load = /...reinstalled and it's working again. Not sure if it'll forget the dictionary if i restart again.

Hi guys,
I've installed teamhacksung's ICS port (build 14), and very happy with it. However, I've been looking for quite some time to find two things:
a) dutch dictionary & spelling check
b) how to enable soft buttons (more than just nice to have as my physical home key is broken)
So now I've managed to change the appropriate APK's I thought, why not share it?
I used ADB to get the files to my device:
LatinIME.apk is the keyboard with Dutch dictionary. English, Spanish, German and French are also in. Spelling check should work for all these languages as well (although I only checked Dutch). It should go to /system/app/LatinIME.apk
framework-res.zip you need to unpack first to get framework-res.apk. It should go to /system/framework/framework-res.apk.
Please make sure you made a backup before replacing the APK's; they come with no warranty (but I use them without issues on my SGS).
UPDATE: just as I posted this, build 15 was out. So I updated the framework-res.apk for build 15. It's here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21910260&postcount=7

Unlike LatinIME.apk, you cannot use a framework-res.apk from a different build; it is very sensitive as it has a lot of relations to other packages (all other packages depend on it).

Hello, i'm looking for an azerty keyboard on stock ics language dutch, can i use this or do i have to look somewhere else?
Hi there!
These are the Dictation packs from Windows Phone 8 SDK. You can find and download them here http://www.mediafire.com/wp8dictation. Check your language code here http://www.microsoft.com/resources/msdn/goglobal/default.mspx?OS=Windows Vista , the last four numbers of the LCID is the code you are looking for.
They have the larger size than the wp7 version. In addition, there are some other langs which are not available yet.
Instruction:
+ Download and Unrar.
+ If your lang is already available, use a file browser such as Windows Phone Device Manager 1.10 to replace the dictation file with the new one. The dictation files are stored in /windows folder.
+ If your lang is not available yet (like mine ), rename the the dictation file. Example: I used Native Keyboard to patch Vietnamese keyboad layout into the original Spanish keyboard. So that, i rename the dictation file from dictionary.042A.dat to dictionary.0C0A.dat and replace it then.
+ Reboot your phone.

Thanks no0b4v3r for providing these DAT files to us. Czech dictionary works perfect on current Tango devices!
The only thing was that the dictionary didn't automatically replace wrong words. Eventually I figured out where the problem was.
The registry value 0x0405 in the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/FuzzyIME/EmptyLex must be set to 0 for the dictionary to work properly. The similar trick applies to all other keyboard languages that were included with WP7 but where the dictionary wasn't available in the beginning. It's just needed to change different value in the same key.
after making hole procedure (copy, restart) I have this new one file .....0415.dat at windows directory. But even after making restart it seems that it still use old dat file I know word which didn't exists in old dictionary and is in new one. Should be like this: first photo old dictionary, second new one. http://windows-phone.pl/2012/08/10/podmiana-slownika-na-zasobniejszy-z-wp8/ I still have like on first photo.
As you know, Ice cream sandwich and Jelly bean Roms for Galaxy S3 support most of languages, but a lot of careers hide many languages which they consider a useless languages in there regions.
I made a free, small and ugly application, but very useful app to allow you enable all those hidden languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi, Bahasa...) on the input list settings and the stock keyboard.
Features :
- Auto Backup your current language settings
- Enable Hidden languages in the input language list and Keyboard
- Restore you language settings
This App was tested on Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300), Note2 and Note 10.1 with Samsung ICS and Jellybean Roms.
This app doesn't add any language support, it just enable all supported languages, so if you don't get your local language after reboot, that means it's not supported in your Rom.
/!\ This application works on a ROOTED DEVICES only.
Download from the Market.
If you like it PLEASE RATE IT on the Market.

SMS in Foreign Language on AT&T phone
I have a rooted US Galaxy S3 and as stated by the developer, the app doesn't change anything.
Does anyone know of a way to allow the SMS reader on 4.0.4 to display foreign languages on incoming messages? That is the problem I have at the moment. I can write, and send them. I can also read foreign languages in a web app, however, when receiving an SMS in a foreign language, it comes in with a ? !, that's it.
I am considering changing roms, but need to find one that has this feature.
Thank you.

No on the HDR, I believe that's a hardware issue (or a laziness one). I'm not sure why the ota would not have it and it be in an AOSP compiled ROM.
