[Q] Htc desire rom update ?

Hello everyone,
I have some questions.
Im new here and i want to install custom rom on my desire.This one
The kernel (i think) is from alpharev and everytime i bood i have wait for at least 1 minute for it to ga to the booting proces of the custom rom it has now.
i want to know if any of you could tell me where a i can find a tut or somthing that i can use to update my phone for quicker boot and the new rom.
i realy don't know where to begin or what to do at the moment.

i already have a rom on my phone but want to try a diff one.
but the first i guess you could say i was lucky to find the right tut at the right times.
so if you know a nice tut or somthing like that that would guide me from start to finish that would be great.

[Q] Running Android Revolution HD 3.2. Cant flash themes

Hello People, i got a DHD now running Android Revolution HD 3.2, Thanks to the nice how-to's around here and its running smoothly!
But, i cant get it to flash some themes. The CWM says its installed, and rebooting turns into infinite htc loop...
been waiting 15min for it to boot, but all i have is a white screen with a green htc name. To get it to work again, i have to reboot into recovery and so on again.
I really want to get the "[THEME] REVOlution DHD for SENSE ROM`s" working, but cant figure it out!

Hello, what're your version of clockworkmod ?
The best are the 2.5.1.3, I've this one with Revolution HD and I've any problem for flash theme...
Try this

It's not the CWM fault, it's the theme itself.
Android Revolution HD starting from 3.0 is using build 1.84 . so make sure you download the theme that support 1.84 (state at the theme thread). The standard one is using build 1.72 (Android revolution HD 2.xx)
scroll down to the thread there , search for the word ..

All mods working incl. Advanced Power Menu, Power Widgets, Dark Message Widget, Black Dialer, Dark Market (latest 2.3.4) plus new Landscape Rosie from Desire Z incl. correct HTC widget layouts. Only button remap to browser shortcut still does not work.

How make a theme for a specific ROM?

Looking for Rom with HTC Sense 3.5

Hi, I'm looking for a rom for HTC Wildfire S with Android 2.3.5 and Sense 3.5 extracted dall'HTC Pico (Explorer) I had already tried once, but I get this error with both is that recovery is the cwm the root of the guide:
Amed scripting (update-script) is no longer supported.
Amed scripting was deprecated by google in android 1.5.
It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to the clockworkmod 3.0 gingerbread based recovery.
Please switch to edify scripting (updater-script and update-binary) to create working update zip packages.
Installation aborted.
Someone with a port data2whatever? You could make a ported ROM for HTC Hero Hintay on our smartphones?

Roms
The fastest rom at the moment (without htc sense) is alquez cyanogenmod 7,
The fastest rom at the moment (with htc sense) is i beleive JikantaruROM XE.
If you have time to wait installing a rom, you could consider Android 4 (ice cream sandwich) wich is beiing ported by benjamingwynn and some other guys.
What would be the best choise for you?
if you like htc sense, jikantarurom.
if you dont like htc sense, cm7 (i think this one is the best).
if you have time to wait and if you want the newest android, Ice Cream Sandwich.
How and what?
download a rom to your sd card, (i recommend using wifi or cable. not 3g or lower)
then booting into recovery mode and choose install from zip.
search the rom's .zip file and install!

[Q] XJ Miui (GB) D2EXT X-PART

Hi Guys,
i'll go back to XJ's MIUI XPART Rom but i dont know what i must do. My last Miui was 1.7 or so
Is the New 2.3.30 Rom Stable and Battery friendly?
Same Scripts or modifications ?
a simple Step by Step Guide will be Nice.
My Desire is already S-OFF / Rooted.

I used the latest miui for a couple of weeks and had no problem what so ever.....the Xpart version worked great for me

That doesn't apply anymore as I am now running runny rom. I had the xpart on cm7r2 hboot with all the standard settings, sd card was setup with a ext4 partition 1024 MB. only changed the kernel to kitty kernel
