Anyone know a way to increase system volume? It's too low even at full volume. I can't hear calls or text messages.

Hi everybody,
Not that I'm deaf, but I find max volume to not be loud enough while I'm listening to music on earphones - it's definitely nowhere near as loud as my standalone media players.
Is there any way to boost the maximum media volume on my Desire Z? Or perhaps is there an application I can use to adjust max volume above the Desire Z's max volume setting?
Any help would be fantastic!

Are you rooted? If so you can install DSP manager as has already been mentioned. You could also try out PowerAMP, it has it's own equilizer. It's a paid app in the market but it doesn't require root.
+1 for power amp

Is there an mod out app that can increase the volume when playing media such as netflix?

Power amp or dsp manager to raise the overall audio.
The setting in dsp manage says speaker volume but only has presets for the equalizer. Do I just fiddle with that and test it?

I use DSP manager to boost the volume of podcasts all the time. Just turn on the equalizer and slide all the green bars as high as they will go. It is much louder.
Also, just be careful, doing this makes all things through the phone speaker much louder, so if you already have a loud ringer it will crackle. It may be possible to blow the speaker.
DSP manager ftw.

I don't even mess with the equalizer. I set it to the Rock preset and enabled bass boost, Strength: Slight, and mine is WAY louder
I can't listen clearly what people say when i'm in busy street. So, is there any way to increase the in-call volume?

If you already turn it at the highest, then nothing you can do.
In busy street, it is quite normal that you can not hear it properly. too bad.
Are we assuming that in call you have actually pressed the camera zoom buttons to turn the volume up?

Nice! It works.
Is it possible? I find the Stock kernel to be most stable and fast, but the low audio output on headphone especially for some formats forced me to use some custom kernels. But I ultimately came back to stock kernel today. So is there any way to boost the headphone and speaker volume without the help of a custom kernel? Any app or anything? I'd really like to have one!
I can always change the gain.dB file but it's needless to say it's a weird process in middle is something, especially while you're watching a movie or something. So that slider is needed, preferably in an app, so that it could be changed on the fly. Should've the range from 55-63 dB for speaker and 50-63 dB for headphones and all.
Thanks in advance.

How could you increase the speakerphone volume with it mate? If I enable speaker then the speaker volume increases indeed, but only when I'm playing a movie or music, but the ringtone volume is unchanged at any settings! Is that how it works?

Yeah thanks pal, but I really didn't wanna go the custom kernel way.
So this mod won't work for increased ringtone volume? I don't know, but even the lock screen sliding effect sound is boosted a lot but why not the ringtone!

Buddy please Disable the increasing ring tone with Xposed Framework or SF or an app from Google play that will boot your Phone sound.

For past three or so months I've disabled that thingy, actually I haven't, I think ARHD comes with it being disabled by default. That's why when I enabled it in Xposed didn't notice any difference.
