Agreed!! Looks very nice though! I am excited about this thread. With the display on this baby, we are gonna get some pretty impressive screenshots!
Will upload mine once i get my hands on my very own SGS2!

Well my first 24hrs on Android have passed, and I haven't enough time in the day to try everything out yet, so this is what I have so far.
The other screens aren't anything but icons so haven't spammed the thread with them.

Well don't have SGS 2,will get it on June only but have been using N1 for more than 14months now,have done quite some modding to homescreens.

mine's not very fancy. just plain and simple.

Yes,that's exactly what i am saying,it will probably be launched in last week of May but it will be by June only when it will be available all across India.
Don't go by any bull**** retailers date{or anyone who is saying & spreading this false news of it's launch on 1st May}.
Network 18 Tech Guru,NDTV Gadget Guru,Times Now,iGyaan all these prominent Indian shows & Forums were there at Samsung Asia Summit held in New Delhi & have hands on with SGS 2 but they all have clealry mentoned June as the month of it's launch in India.
I hope it turns out otherwise, but i do not see it happening.

As the op mentioned, its called the htc sense mod launcher, but underneath its adw launcher. I used it on my sgs1 as well, and whats cool is you can also download the sense launcher themes that work with to change it up a bit. I hope the creator of it updates some of the features to make it more like the one from sense 3.0. that will be epic.

This is making me look forward to my SGSII coming Tuesday/Wednesday even more. When peoiple are posting their screens can you also possibly post an overview of what you're using e.g. launcher, wallpaper source, any mods etc as would help people like me out loads when we get our devices Thanks

Mine was launcher pro lol... There was a htc sense version of it on here somewhere ages ago... and it comes with the htc widgets

Hi, this theme have the full animation of météo widget from Sense of Htc ? I love the rain with droppels on the screen ... And for Sense 3.0 is also ok ?

its launcher pro plus i suppose? surely you can't have htc widgets without porting the whole sense launcher..
anyway been using the plus version and i'm well impressed by the widgets it offered, as good as the htc ones just missing the news widgets

Theme expansion- A little help deciding

Could the kind people around here please help me decide which of the two sets of buttons i should use in a theme:

I like set 1 as they are simple and elegant, but......
i like set 2 and they would be easier to expand into a theme.
Please share your thought's.

Yea dully mate set 1 looks hot. A theme with that would be nice. optional colours sounds even better.

Yeah thats what i thought,
I had already started overhauling the framework-res with style 1 but i didn't want to get too deep in to find out there would be no interest.
Here's a preview of the btn_check/circle/close/ that ive done so far, this might help make your decision slightly easier:

Since at the moment most people are using CheckRom v6 or Hyperdroid v6 i would say GB base and maybe later if you have the time port it to ICS Samsung stock since I personally think that in the end most people prefer stock rather than Cyanogen if they want something more stable and fluid...
And I also voted for the first set

Ok so style 1 is 3x more popular than style 2 but i thought style 1 was lacking something, a bit of colour maybe on the normal button?? Anyways......

It's more curvy and has more blue light...Hmmm...I think I prefer this one.The 1.1

I prefer v1.1 for reasons you stated, im all about the colour.
Someone(quite a few) asked me to create something simple but with colour.
TBH, i probably wont even use the theme after i've created it, im still using Phone Candy and probably still will long after Moist Couch is released thats why im asking.

Galaxy Nexus N7 Mass Effect 3 Edition

Hey everybody!
I am a HUGE Mass Effect fan. And I mean HUGE. So I decided to mod my galaxy nexus to look more Mass Effecty.
This will be a multi-step project over Easter break.
The first thing that I did is order a custom laser etched battery door (Thanks Android etch!) and it came out brilliant!

Step 2 is the touchstone induction charging mod detailed here Parts are on the way I ordered them today
Step 3 is a custom paint job. I have a question on this one. What kind of paint would work best on this phone? Model paint? Also how can I safely remove the verizon logo?
Step 4 is a custom icon theme. My buddy (soon to join the forum) is helping me with this. The theme will be CWM flashable and have custom icons as well as custom navigation buttons! Suggestions appreciated.
I'll update with more pictures as I progress in the mod.

Thats pretty cool. If I were to do something like this. I would try to find or make a vector image of Commander Shepard in an action pose to go along with the N7 image.
But still cool nonetheless.

I'm Commander Shephard and this is my favorite battery door in the Citadel.
Big fan here as well. Played all 3 with my Paragon Infiltrator Shephard. I won't go into details of the ending though lol.

Bit of a setback. The inductive charging modification doesn't quite work with the custom battery door so tomorrow I will order a modified design on an extended door. Thinking of Normandy SR2 right above the n7. That or "Fight for the lost".

edit: My result. The google search didnt really fit and the sound bar was way too cramped. Works better on HDPI I guess. I will just have to theme my google search myself.

I thinkif you set system theme to dark it will at least go grey instead of blinding white.. Other than that, I think an xposed module could change that!

Standard question: Why not simply using Nova Launcher? Will do this and much more.

@MrWilsonxD, thank you for time and suggestion...I concern about you think..If we use all 3rd party application for simple reason... Device will die with full of applications.... What's your think ?

Decompile it
Go to res/values/colors.xml and search for background color. Should've #ffffffff as value. Change it whatever you want.
Recompile.

I think that would definitely be true if we were back in jelly bean/ice cream sandwich days. The phones weren't the most powerful, the os wasn't as mature, and tyre apps weren't as optimized..
But now, dude, our phones have 6 Gigabytes Of RAM! And with at least 64gigs of storage and a beast mode processor, I doubt there's anything our phone can't handle. (Within mobile computing of course lol)
So, I definitely think you should try nova. I've been using it for 2 or 3 years without any problems whatsoever. It's a well developed app, I wish it came with more phones automatically, it's of fantastic quality. Try it!
