Hey,
i have a defy with red lense(i don´t know if this was important). i came from froyo kernel and flashed a Defy+ O2 Blur 2.3.6 SBF, now i can´t flash all sorts! ;(
every time i tried to flash something came the massage "installing abort" ....
(make me crazy) after that i flash a froyo full sbf "3.4.2_177-005_NORDIC" but now my defy doesn´t boot, it stocks in a blackscreen. i can´t go into the bootloader or CWM ... it should stock in a blackscreen with the white phone led on(i have plugged the usb-cable to my pc, to get a request from the phone or something else).
i hope someone can help me
.... i have find out a solution ! i pull out the battery and before i push it back, i hold the volum+ button(normal way to get into the bootloader). i´ve waiting a few seconds and yeah! i got connection to RSD Lite and can flash a new SFB

hi there
my defy simply wont boot. got a fully charged battery off my mate and rsd recognises it. i flash to uk 2.51 but it wont boot after that.
could someone help?
You probably had a more recent rom on it like 3.2.xx and downgrading isn't possible unless done properly so that's why your phone isn't booting. You'll have to flash a newer version of rom such as 3.2.xx
what rom should i flash to?
Hi guys , I have a rooted defy with stock 2.51 sbf sea version . After i factory-reset my defy , i found out that i could not get pass the Set-Up Screen .The set-up screen is entirely black with the grey notification bar. The usb connect is still working and my sim card can still be detected . I tried to flash a fixed 2.51 rom in my phone but the problem still persist . Please advice and thanks in advance

hello buddies... Yesterday i installed cm7 beta6 rom on my defy successfully..latr i saw red ginger theme n thought of installing that..i copied it into sd card and after that i needed to flash again but accidently i went into custom rom and clicked apdate zip file from sd card ..it took long in that i thought it has hanged and just rebooted it ...but omg it got caught in infinite boot loop..then i went into recovery mode wiped data , then went into bootloader and installed few sbf but still in boot loop ...in bootloader when i flash sbf after 100% it says manually reboot phone..what does this means.plz help me out ..
Grab the SBF for the original android version for your phone from here if you want to keep downgradability, or any old SBF if you don't mind losing downgradability, then:
Reboot into stock recovery
Turn off phone
Hold volume down and turn on phone
When the exclamation triangle/android appears press volume up and volume down together
Wipe data and cache
Boot into bootloader mode
Turn off phone
Hold volume up and turn on phone
Flash the aforementioned SBF
After that you should then be back to stock, or a stock version of the SBF you chose, from which point you can then go about rooting, installing recovery etc again.
HTH!

Fixed SBF....I think u should flash Full SBF
which is the best sbf if hv cm7 beta6 version.. can i contact motorola service centre to get this problem solved...
Yes, sorry I should have made that clear. From where it sounds as though your phone is at the moment, you will need to flash a full SBF as ifu said. Again, remember to use the SBF version that coincides with your original phone firmware if you want to keep downgradability.

First of all, no need to worry, ur defy can be recovered
All you have to do is full flash the original android version you got when you bought the phone using rsd lite, unless you have fully flashed another version in which you qill need to flash that

And I Cant Access The Recovery Menu , so i can wipe data or any thing
The Bettery isnt A Problem Because i Have 2 betterys
and luckely i have 2 other defy phones at work
so when the bettery is down i only put the batter in another device and charge it
any way
i tried flashing several stock roms didnt work insted it gives me a white led when usb is connected and no m logo by then
i was using the UK Retail 4.5.1_128
please help guys
Go to stock recovery and full wipe the data/cache before attempting to flash another sbf or rom.
i cant go to any recovery menu , i pressed vol down + power for like 2 mints and nothing happens i only can go to bootloader
Try to flash with original SBF, which was installed when you buy the phone and also try RSD version 5.3.1 with driver 5.2
gona try that when i get back from work today , just one thing how would i know wich version was on it we have another moto defy here at work with red lense , is there a posbility it wil be the same ? i checked the phone and it found that its the same from the inside when i got mine
Try to find that which SBF is supports in your region, then try. As i already get stuck in this situation earlier and i use SBF which supports in our region then it gets resolved.
wich one support jordan country ?
i think i need this sbf but i cant find it
here is the details
Build Number : JRDNEM_u3_2.54.0
System Version , Moto_version_2.54.0mb525,retail.en.ME2
GAS_ASIA_USAJORDANRTARAB_P022
but i cant find it :S please help
Version which u r specify is relates to eclair (2.1) and going back to eclair is difficult. Now in my opinion u can try this SBF http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1093352, if this not work then u have to go to moto service centre (without telling truth) and repair from them.
isnt there another way than sending it to the company :S all sbf failed
so no other way ?????
if all you can get in, is bootloader
try figuring out what your last android version was (2.1 2.2 2.3)
or better what version your cg39 is. (3? 4?)
from there flash the appropriate sbf file
the one with the same cg39 version as previous os.
from there, go where you want...
