Post Your Boot Animation Screen

Kinda like how Phromik was interested in seeing all your home screens, I'd be interested in seeing peoples custom boot screens.

OO is the boot screen the picture that comes up before the g1 logo

not the boot screen, the boot ANIMATION. the one that on the default has the scrolling "android". if you want to know how to change it on non-hero builds, check out the tutorial I made. the link to it is in my signature.

ah misread, sorry. I haven't changed my animation yet. Just one more thing to customize.

Eyes do not flash it's just the first screen that you see then it's the normal android bootup after that. But if you want to grab it feel free. My girl actually gave me an idea for one but have not had time to work on it yet might do it later this week.

the thread in this forum that saus "post your boot images here" has all the instructions you need to change the splash screen.

For any Redwings fans
I made this for my animation earlier.

It's from a picture of my Halloween costume from last year. A clown with a chainsaw. The shine makes a neat effect in the ring around the picture.

(REQ) Stark Industries boot animation

Hey everyone, I had a pretty cool idea for a boot animation. Im running Cyanogen 5.0.7 test5 and I'm having trouble editing the screen myself, so I was hoping someone could help me out. I wanted to have the Stark Industries logo, and when my SD card mounts it has Jarvis voice saying "Good evening Mr. Stark, how may I assist you?". I already have the soundclip loaded, I just need the animation to go with it, any help?

How do you want it animated?
Rendered out as single still images?

Maybe just the Stark Industries logo, with a shine across it. Something simple.
And I posted the sound clip in a zip file...totally promise it's not a virus or anything, just a simple way to attach an MP3

What is it exactly that you are looking for?

Theme
Just to maybe replace the boring white Stark Industires letters in the logo with a shine underneath, like a silver. That would be cool

How does one make the phone play an audio clip upon startup?
And how do i change boot screens?
I just rooted yesterday and im already loving it and addicted..

Mount the card
Change the sound that you want to play at startup as your notification sound. When the SD card mounts (as it does as startup) it will play the sound

You don't flash it with recovery.
Put it on your sdcard
open terminal enter these commands:
su
cp /sdcard/bootanimation.zip /data/local/
reboot

thats the resolution of the screen, not the boot time
the boot time is depending on your animation, larger animations make the boot time longer.. and its also depending on your own configured fps rate..

I might be doin´it wrong or putting the .zip in the wrong place coz I get the standard boot screen...

works fine here and looks cool as well good work im running continuum 5.5 if it matters o yea and if you are running a 2.3 rom then you have to change the .zip to sanim.zip

its only in one of the png and comes for just a flash of a second you can photoshop it to black if you'd like

hi dear , i have galaxy s i9000 runing 2.3.4 gingerbread
i want to ask about boot animation , i know how to make the zip file which contain part0 file and part1 file and desc.txt , i want to know how to create the images which was in both files (1&0) , is there is soft ware to do that or its video converted to images then added to part0 and part1 files ( i mean the series of images and the animation on it how we wil do it ) please help me and tell me the secret , i searched on net the olny i found how to do the zip file which i know it , no body explane how to fabricates the images it self,

+1 for this as I'm a firefighter as well. The firefighter's prayer is very touching. I don't have any tribute clips, just a tribute wallpaper that was made for me.

[Q] Getting the CRT animation back

I have recently updated my R800i to version 4.0.2.A.0.42 and I was disappointed to see the CRT screen lock animation replaced by a boring fade animation.
So, I ventured on a quest to get it back without downgrading if that's possible. The animation is probably in framework-res.apk, but I don't know anything more than that.
There is an animation, but the wrong one. config_animateScreenLights is false.
Another possible solution might be to upgrade to 4.0.2.A.0.58, because they might have put the animation back since while googling for a solution I only saw more people whining and maybe SE noticed them.

If you know how to get it back I'd like to hear it. If not, you're right, it's just an animation, but a really nice one.

Sad news, i need the system dump which had the CRT Animation - Build 3.0.1.A.145‎ but theres no system dump on the web of that build, im just waiting for someone to donate it to me, or an older version of the dump that had the CRT Animation so i could port it... i tried using the arc/neo dump but because of screen resolutions/size it wouldnt work & all i ended up with was no screenlock animation
