I love my arc but despite the fact that it has 8 MP cam, I am not at all happy with its camera image quality.. whenever I try to click the image with flash on at night, it blurs the image with a fog like effect... Can anyone tell me how can I improve the image quality... ? I tried changing the settings of the camera but still I dont have any solution.. Please help..
Just Remove the Protective cover of ur Phone! getting bounce back of the light thrue the cover .try it mate!!!

I had that before ...! ur using capdase trancelucent nor transparent color?

I am talking about the camera image quality and not the display.. What I wanna say is the quality of images is not constant and not too good as far 8MP cam is concerned.. Is it the issue with the lense or with the Camera apk?
in your Right screen shot having a problem with light. the left is nice without led light captured. that is my problem b4 then i remove it .but the one that ur saying having a problem with your camera i think u dnt have any problem with that ,8 megapixel cam for me its great .
I think I know what he is talking about images with flash can look like an old Polaroid picture or sun bleached .

Exactly! This is wat I wanna say.. Y the pictures get blurred when we use the flash..? And I dont think this kind of quality is anyway near to the 8 MP picture quality..
i stated already what you gonna do ,just take it of the jelly case or protective case .and take another shot with flash ..

Hello, i have installed camera mod cyber shot and anyway when i use my video camera in my house (warm light) i see lot of noise. but when i use my video cam in the street (lightday) works 100% without noise.
i THINK (im not secure) That started when i upgraded my version of xperia ion 6.1.c.1.105 to 6.1.c.1.111.
Then i wanna know if any1 of u have a xperia ion and tell me if u have the same problem that me.

Its because when your inside the camera will bump up the ISO to compensate for low light. Which will bring in more noise. Outside theres plenty of light so the ISO will stay low (less noise)
However, in the end, I don't care what mod you install, the noise performance on this phone is bad! And you can blame Sony for shoving 12mp in such a small sensor. Its ridiculous, and not needed!

You can use 9mp all you want, it doesn't change the fact that they stuck 12mp into that sensor.
I'd at least recommend using the full 12mp and cropping after.

My telephoto pictures are really poor ! And I discovered why : the phone never use the telephoto sensor (52mm), it make a digital zoom with the main camera (27mm) !
I simply covered the main camera and I switched to 2x mode, and surprise I haven’t an image.
Can you perform the same test with your phones ? If you have the same behavior, for what this telephoto sensor is ?

Telephoto lens doesn't work if you are close to the subject,try it with a far object.

I was ready to send the phone to Huawei :-/
So this doesn't explain why my photos are with so bad quality ..
Say "cheese", then rate this thread to express how photos taken with the Samsung Galaxy S11 come out. A higher rating indicates that photos offer rich color (without over-saturating), sharp detail (with all subjects in-focus), and appropriate exposure (with even lighting).

cause there is no zoom just sensor cropping and pathetic pricing, try Mi 10 pro
I like S20 Ultra 108Mpx sensor. Mostly I'm shooting on this sensor with export to 12Mpx in Lightroom if I'm not using 0.5x or 4x lenses.

So I had an exynos S20, camera was very poor even after the update.
The 64mp camera had practically no auto focus, and the lag in taking the pic ment blur on every photo.
The lower resolution helped with the auto focus however still lag in the photo taking.
I am so much mad at this quality of photos near objects
I was trying to send my friend photo some resistors , and tried 5 times and photo is not sharp !

Ultra has problem with close photo. Try more distance and zoom.

The main camera isn't for shots that close
I hadn't had a Samsung phone for a while, and I've come from a Mate 20 Pro, so although the camera on my S20+ "can" be better, it sometimes isn't at all. Macro is one area where Huawei does it so much better, all you need to do on a Huawei phone is get close to the target and the ai automatically switches camera lens for you to the best option, and focuses perfectly... This is something Samsung seems to lack, and it's a big miss for me. But surely, something that can be added in software.

Used to hate that with my P30, there was no way to disable AI from switching to macro, if they'd added that feature to the AI on/off function it would have made a lot more sense
Didn't you just used to turn off Master Ai? That's what I used to do on the Mate 20 Pro on the odd occasion and it was very easy, but personally I thought it was mostly a great feature.

did you try to scan(make photo) of text page ?
I do a lots of scaning recipts/invoice and send them to my acccountant , most of them is not readble , too blurry

Oh right, that's wierd it worked fine on my Mate 20 Pro.

Hello guys , I have a p40 pro , I just get it and I can still return it ...the thing its that I'm thinking to move to S20 Ultra , It's worth it ? From what I saw the camera on S20 Ultra its pretty bad .
Also, if someone knows , In UK at vodafone , wich version its sold , Ex or Snapdragon ?
I'm thinking about samsung because it has google services and much more development , but camera it's very important as well .
