The two base ROMs :
First Teamhacksung's Build 14 at the moment
we can get several custom kernel :
Icy GLITCH V14 just out today, the first beta release not preview anymore.
Devil's for Teamhacksung's could be used for b14 got voodoo color variants and the latest led2
Zach's ICS kernel it's outdated at the moment it was created for b12 but hopefully he will update it as soon as he has time
some mod and visual changes:
Extended settings for TH TBH I haven't used this yet but if you have any feedback please post it
Perka's MOD I tried it with b11 it was working fine.
Adventurer's Pack I don't know the purpose its a custom kernel+some apps+perka's mod can be used for b14
Aand Onecosmic's AOSP port I used the latest RC3.1, you can find all the usable kernels and stuff on their website so i wont post them here.
Some custom ROMs:
drzMIUIv4 Based on galnetmiuiv4 haven't tried it. It's the first MIUIv4 based custom rom. Might be cool!
Doc's Master ICS Based on latest TH's + icy Glitch kernel B1 !
ICS Surface It's a naked TH based on B13 lots of apps removed and separate addon packs provided its useful if you want to install apps fast from cwm packages.

None of this is my creation I just collected them. Might be useful for some people.I remember a similar thread back about november when the first ICS ports appeared everyone laughed that time but you see there are lots of stuff for ICS now so its worth posting
Cheers!!
If anyone interests my Doc's Master ICS Rom Updated today to v2 also incledes ICY Glitch Kernel B1
and thanks for this thread
Galnet MIUI V4 is the first custom Miui V4 (It's build from galnet and not from Miui china)...
drzMIUIv4 doesn't differ too much from lastest galnet: apps added (a ics style launcher Nova for an Miui rom : funny), face unlock...) or removed, new kernel, etc.
Semaphone coming on ICS

Galnet MIUIv4 was to just start off and take a bit of taste of cooking on aosp roms, I didn't had any experiemce of aosp cooking before......now the rom is based on CM9 and official nexus s 2.1.20 release ..and will be uodated according to official nexus s releases. And there are Lot of differences.

Hi im just posting this for anyone one t989 forum looking for an Alternative
*This is not a rom*
*Users should be running ICS rom*
*NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOU DO TO YOUR OWN PHONE UR ACTIONS ARE YOUR OWN*
Purpose of thread
Anyone who wants a temporary solution to a 4.0 MIUI rom without any bugs (other than the ones on the rom you choose to have)
Solution :
MIUI LAUNCHER CREATED BY ZACQ8
So i basically I'm running (Rom) IML74K_Ics_Perfection II BY : hayn_pryde46 (since on my phone it runs super smooth with almost no problems but it differs from person to person)
and i applied the MIUI launcher on my t989d from telus works perfectly with this rom
JUST TO CLARIFY
*THE ROM AND LAUNCHER IS NOT MINE THANK THE GUYS WHO Made IT *
Screenshots Below And additional Info:
LINK TO THREAD
MIUI laucher :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1623026
ADDITIONAL INFO- * the notification bar and internal parts such as the menus cannot be themed since it's a launcher not a rom look at the picture # 4 setting menu is normal as whatever the rom has it as.
So you have acess to the themes, change the lockscreen and have the MIUI widgets ...Should help tide us over till a 4.0 based MIUI ROM comes out.....
If you found this helpful hit the thumbs up (thanks button) below
So we can use all the themes from MIUI on non MIUI roms?
Edit: sorry I reread & got my question answered

wow amazing find! looks just like miui and love the theme support! thanks
Hi,
I have been out of touch from the forum from quite a long time, and i don't have a good internet.I would like to know which is the best and the most stable Rom? with good battery life. Im on miui, but when i went through the MIUI rom discussion, there are alot of problems everyone is facing. Can i get a stable miui rom? and how do i update to the latest CMW recovery. Thanks!
Do you want a Sense-less ROM or with Sense? Regarding CWM, get ROM Manager from Google apps. Open it, and on top, you have the option "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery".
If you could tell me both? with and without sense, is there any stable version of miui available? and thanks for the info about recovery.
Among Sense ROMs, I like ARHD 6.3.3 the most. Among MIUI ROMs, RD-MIUI 2.4.13 is the best. I've personally used it.
Hope it helps.

There's a list of roms here if you need it.
I like MIUI, so if I need the video camera, I use the last official MIUI Android GB rom which was MIUIAndroid DHD 2.4.20.
If the video camera is not so important and I want to try ICS apps, then I really appreciate Bliind's ICS MIUI version here at XDA [ROM] MIUI.us 2.6.22 v4 4.0.4 (ICS).
(As per his thread, you can use Videocam Illusion for the video camera to work, but the cam doesn't seem to film for so long, although I didn't buy the pro version or play around with the app settings.)
In July or August we will see the official DHD Android 4.0 (Sense 3.6) rom from HTC, so we can enjoy ICS (if you like it) and the video cam should be good too.
:good:
What about building JB or ICS from source for DesireZ?
I remember virtuous quattro was an ICS rom build from vanilla AOSP. It was faster and cleaner than CM9 based rom.
I think a pure aosp build of JB or ICS with new drivers it would speed up a lot these new android version on our devices.
I'm ready leave all CM feature for a pure google AOSP with some speed.
I think you'll probably still need all the tweaks that the andromedus team has done to make it a dd

I use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1605016 and I'm very happy with it - 4.1.2 but also has goodies that you need anyway. Clean source ROM would nice though - just to try it out I agree - but I personally would miss a lot of stuff.
Hi.
My LT26 is actually on rom stock .211 (tried .96, better battery but trouble with camefa focus).
Was is a good rom for JB 4.2.2 (and what kernel with it) ?
It seems that 4.3 roms are still in testing sequence ?
Thks.
in my opinion the 4.3 rom is more stable than the 4.2.2's I've been using it daily since it's release and never any issues

4.2 rom
I think... PAC rom might be want you are looking for, but I'm not sure... :-?
Different flavours...
Hello,
during the last few months, I tried several roms. If you rely on HDMI and want to have the best from your camera (but not the newest features), you should stick with modifications of the Xperia rom.
Most of the time I had SlimBean on my Xperia S, but they have for now finished the development, stopped with a (in my opinion very good) 4.2.2 stable version. For me it worked perfectly on a everyday basis, stable, fast, and with a very nice all-black interface (as most roms offer now). You can download it on their website. And here is the link to the according xda-thread. But many links on that forum thread are now dead, as the downloads have been moved to the "Old Releases" section on the website. If you want to use another kernel with it, I chose the OpenSEMC beta2 kernel, but I did not find any differences in comparison to the stock SlimBean kernel. Don't use 3.4 kernels with the 4.2.2 SlimBean Roms! SlimBean relies on 3.0 kernels, here is a discussion about this topic.
But now I wanted to have some android 4.3 running, and so far I see only two options for that:
The PAC beta1 which I have currently installed (still some issues there, but is OK for daily use and FAST), and the AOSP alpha1 which I have not tested so far.
I hope this helped you a little bit! If so -> thanks-button is waiting
RC2 kernel should be the same as slim bean hence not noticing any difference.
I'm still on aosp 4.3 and it's still consistently smooth and fast

OpenSEMC beta2 with SlimBean, NOT the RC2
Hello,
as corrected by now, I made a mistake in my post above, it is the OpenSEMC beta2 kernel you need for the use with SlimBean, NOT the RC2.
In this post is an according link (second one).
Any forecast about a stock JB 4.3 launch for XS? When?
