Hi all,
Just wanted to know what the best option for overclocking a dhd was. I want to use stock voltages and was wondering how far you could push it before it becomes unstable.

1.3 GHz should be possible with the stock voltage.

Thanks for the reply buddy. Guessing there is no risk of cpu damage due to stock voltages too

What's the best Kernel for battery life and overclocking speeds? I got the Evo not to long ago and some of my previous devices(Thunderbolt, Incredible2) and or current devices are like overclocked about 1.5.
Highest you can oc to is 1.2 and most evos can only handle 1.1

There is no reason to overclock the S.
Just curiosity ... for benchmark purposes maybe ?

When FXP kernel sources will be released, devs may then be able to add overclocking support to the same. But if you would take my suggestion, underclocking the processor works way too good for me on JB. Underclocked it to 1.35 GHz and enjoying JB to the fullest. Plus, you will enjoy better battery life.
OK will try

I believe there is a custom CM kernel for the S called Amin Kernel or something, try it, it could have overclocking
Amin kernel for cm10 isnt working yet, just bootloops right now

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Will supersick or anything else work?

Read the OP for the super sick kernel. Its only for AOSP based ROMs, won't work with sense.
I am running AOKP 4.1.2 (AOKP_Primoc_unoffcial_Nov-18-12) with the included boot.img kernel.
I would like to change to a kernel that would allow fast charging via USB cable?
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks
Forgot to mention I am running the CDMA Virgin mobile one V
