Hi,
Someone here who's going to get one of the gifted Nexuses with the preview JB ROM on them and wants to dump the ROM for us?
Would be very nice and I think there are some people who'd love to flash it.

I came to XDA to post this question, if those phones came pre-loaded with JB 4.1.
They didn't come preloaded BUT Google said they will be prompted to upgrade to the Preview Jelly Bean update within minutes.
Okay, so it's almost pre loaded ;-)
Which is even better so we can just grab the zip and don't need to pack the ROM.

That's even better... as it allows someone to just grab the OTA (preview) upgrade from the device!
will this only be for people who like to poke around with new stuff? or will it possibly be stable enough to use every day?
I'm on a Verizon Nexus and want JB now!
So any news on a dump? I came here to ask this exact question after I realized all the Gift Gnex devices were getting Jelly Bean :O

They started handing out devices 17 minutes ago... be patient!!!
GNEX Jelly VZW/CDMA
Considering this leak is more than likely from a phone intended for a GSM carrier like TMobile or ATT, is it safe to say my VZW/CDMA GNEX will not be flashable, even with toying around with the radio?

OK. The leaks are out but they're only for "takju". Can I flash it onto my yakju?!
And it seems to be an update from IMM30D, I got IMM76I :-/
Well I'll do a Nandroid, flash it and hope it works ;-)

This comment does not make sense. You should say "Runs pretty good on my European maguro." Yakju is a build that you are no longer running if you've flashed takju...
does it not work on AT&T?
I downloaded the app on my phone and tried to set it up, but it says "it isnt available on my network or device" I have an AT&T galaxy s3. any idea whats going on? I thought with the new update that it was to be available to most all credit cards and then NFC capable phones?
Simple answer. No not on 100% stock it will however work on cm9/cm10.

Google Wallet is blocked by default on AT&T. You're going to have to use the old version of Google Wallet if you want it to work as our amazing devs haven't had a chance to patch the new version yet.
You'll have to wait for a hacked version of the new wallet.apk. The one you see floating around has been modified to work with with a build.prop edit. As of now, the newest version (august 1) has not been modded. Also, ATT still won't let us use it, hence the error you see when opening the stock .apk.

Or a super easy fix is till uninstall the update. Wallet still works atleast for me.

why does at&t block it? what do they gain from blocking it? just don't see the point.
Same issue here, "Not available for your device or mobile network". Was wondering the same thing, why does AT&T block the use of Google Wallet?

there is a new hacked version of todays update. it is in the google wallet sticky at the top of THIS forum. OP updated with new instructions for official app and instructions with flashable zip for the hacked apk.

Well it just updated again over night for some people. 4.0.26 is the version number.
BTW, it hasn't been "blacked out" yet by B-Boy, but will be in time.
Is it a big enough update to notice? I haven't noticed any difference yet.
T-Mobile SGS III
Incemental really. Just a few bug fixes but I think it was mainly updated just to piss us inverted users off. lol
AP has a story on it here.

When i first saw it i was like wth happened to my play store. then i realized that it had updated. personally it took me a little bit to get used to it, because i was so used to pressing the old set up that i would end up clicking on the suggested stuff just by force of habbit. i do like the new look and feel of the UI. it is much more better than the old one.
