Is it possible to enable HTML when sending and replying to emails within the stock email client? I tried searching through settings but just don't see it. It seems like the stock setting is plain text. Any suggestions without using 3rd party apps? Thanks in advance
Anyone?

I guess this means no one has a solution?
I don't see why they wouldn't allow an option to send HTML or Rich Text emails? I hate responding to work emails in only plain text, changes the whole email chain to plain...
Do you guys do anything else to get around this issue?

Hi,
For the life of my I can not figure out how to send HTML emails on WM6.
I am running it off an Exchange 07 server, and inbound HTML emails work fine.
Even emails I send out are sent in HTML (when view on a recpient PC), but on the device they look like simple plain text emails, and I have no way of changing fonts, colours etc.
Does anyone know how to go about correcting this? Is there some silly check box I haven't selected?
Any help will be greatly apprecaited.
When your in an email click menu/view/get html
does that work? its greyed out for me cause im not on 2007 yet..
that's for recieving html emails - and i got that working fine.
i am talking about sending html emails from the pda. i can't see where i can enable this OR how to edit the emails with colours etc.
Sorry I should only reply after I get my morning coffee..
Hi All,
Say, if i do emails on my tp2, i send the email out and forget to bcc me, i forward the email to myself separately. I only get my signature without the full contents. Wondering if this is normal??
Is there any way we can configure the client or alternate programs to like pull emails like from 9am to 6pm instead?
Kinda like Nokia's default email client on e71s, i can choose when and how to download emails. And at the same time have an option to automatically send me a copy of the emails.
Thanks alot in advance or sorry if this is a stupid question..
EDIT: Is this a known thingy? Will wm 6.5 be addressing this issue?
1. When I forward mails, the entire message is included. I can think of 2 reasons why this isn't working for you.
a. You use Windows Live email (ie Hotmail) and you didn't toggle on the setting in Windows Live to include original message when replying/forwarding.
b. You've only set to download the email headers. You need to download the full message from the server before forwarding to include the whole message.
2. You can schedule your email push/pull between specific times of the day only if you use Windows Live or Exchange.
I know many people like to bcc themselves on all emails but you can just check the Sent folder as an alternative. I guess it's just a matter of preference...
My work email is primative pop3/smtp.. I'm using the default messaging on the htc touchflo3d, not the windows live.
Hmm.. i'll try the down entire message thingy..
Hi,
Have tried to use download entire email messages... still the same.. when i forward the email out.. it goes until only my signature.. does not forward the entire message
anymore ideas??
I was wondering that perhaps it may be because you're connecting via POP3. But this doesn't appear to be the case. I just tested setting up my Gmail account via POP3 and I can forward messages just fine.
After you tap on "Forward", you should be taken to a compose screen where you type in your recipients. If you scroll down, do you see the original message in full?
thats the thing... i can see the whole email in full.. theres teh "edit original sender's message" thingy...
but when i actually click send.. it only send out the portion i typed.. -.-
I have sent my phone in for service b4, updated software, hard reset... all the same... maybe i'll try my gmail and update again..
What happens if you tap the part thatt enables you to edit the original message before you send?
same ; ;

tested with Gmail and yahoo... by configuration, both uses imap on the client..
tested with my other personal email from isp... think i found a pattern..
If i forward from inbox.. everything ok..
If i forward from sent items... only what i type is sent...
i didnt test on imap.. deleted my account.. anyone got any observations??
any help??!?? ; ;
Hi, sorry if I'm in the wrong subsection, i've been searching but I couldn't find anything.
Is there a way to get notified when a new email comes to a certain folder in outlook mobile. The reason is I'm using google voice and forwarding txt to email. So I only want to get notified when I get a new sms. (I set up gmail to filter sms from google voice into a certain folder, so outlook mobile should reflect that)
Thanks in advance!

I'm also looking for a solution for this. since now nothing found. i think the only way is to use a third party emailclient
bump
and what client?
Interesting ideea, maybe I could take a look and try to implement it...
But I don't want to promise anything, so don't get your hopes high.
Hi,
I have a quick question, I am using the stock email app & I setup Imap. For some reason when I send, reply, etc, my emails always come out with low importance/priority.
Any ideas how to make the Epic emails regular priority by some default setting?
Thanks,
Rich
Hi,
I have Imap working on my phone. For some reason when I send an email it seems to default to a low priority / low importance email.
I dont see any options & cant figure why its doing that.
Any ideas where I could fix that so its just a regular importance email?
Thanks,
Rich
