Ok so liberated is a gingerbread sense based rom so your kernel options are pretty limited. Other than the gingerting kernel i believe there is only one othe by wildstang, but it is basicly the stock kerlel.

Whichever one you install.
They can all use overclocked kernels provided you select the right one.
I believe all of them now that kernal source is available. I think netarchy's kernal goes to 1.15 on any rom. If you use CM6 and snap kernal, some people have reached 1.28 or so. But 1.19 is very stable.

Does that .19 really make that much difference?
I would love to install the HTC camera app on the GB rom I am on. The stock is very limited, and if possible please tell me how this can be done.

Can't be done because any apk from htc depends on htc framework and aosp gb roms don't have that. Try miui camera it has alot more options.

Crap, I guess I also should have asked how I install the miui camera apk also.
Tried to install the miui camera apk and then I fixed permissions andnitnstillmforce closed. What could I have done wrong? Maybe I didn't install this the right way.
How did you install it and which version of the miui cam is it?

I would like to install Incredikernel without erasing all my data, is that possible? Also would incredikernel 2.6.38.8 and the newest Pure Speed Rom work well?
Flashing kernels does not erase data. So you are safe in that department.
As for the performance of the suggested kernel I do not know

I tryed a lot of ROMs and kernels and I can tell you that on my Desire the best rom with great battery life was Oxygen 2.3.2. with thalmus kernel 2.6.35.14_r3. I would recommend you to try that. Althoug Mildwild 2. something (I can`t remember) worked like a charm for me
