I use J Player to watch streams, and am bombarded by ads, especially going back and forth between streams. I have Adblock installed, and I don't get them in Firefox at home, is there a solution for this on Android?
Check out "ROM toolbox pro" on the market. It has a good block ads setting in it. I dont buy very many apps but if your rooted and do alot of flashing its good to have.

Looks like Amazon wasn't supporting Android smartphones. I'm not sure if it's changed. I saw a youtube video on how to make it work but it seems to no longer be effective.
Is anyone able to watch Amazon streaming videos with a standard unrooted etc android device?
I think you can watch them in any browser that supports flash. I believe the stock browser and Dolphin work.
I downloaded Dolphin but it won't run Amazon streaming video. It results in an error code.

I don't think Dolphin supports flash anymore. You can install Boat browser for flash content. You need to install flash separately, and enable it in Boat browser settings. Then you can watch Amazon videos through Boat browser.

Thanks, I downloaded Boat but still no go. Looks like there's no flash support beyond android 4.0.x.

Google Play won't download the flash player for current Android devices. Looks like there's other ways to download flash...

Yes, you have to install it separately and not from Google Play. Search xda, I'm sure you will find a link to the file. It works on Android 4.3, I tried streaming with my N7 and can confirm. Don't worry about the threads saying it won't work, that was an old issue of Amazon doing something to exclude android devices, they no longer do that.
Don't forget to enable flash in boat browser once you install it. It is not enabled by default!

For the life of me I can't get this app installed on my AFTV. have FireTube working, but this one at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LV4D70O/ref=mas_ya_dp
just won't install.
Initially I was getting a "geography restriction" on the website, that went away and I purchased the app. I still cannot install it or "deliver " it to the AFTV.
I also tried getting the app from a buddy and sideloaded it, but it complains that I do not "own" the app and quits.
Any suggestions? This is very frustrating....and made me realize how much more restrictive the Amazon app store is compared to Google Play.
If you have access to sideloading, try the YouTube HD Mod from XDA itself. (too lazy to link, just google it/search in XDA forum searchbox)
If that doesn't suit your needs, there's lots of other YouTube apps out there nowadays,a few of them are really good.

I have that one installed and it doesn't cut it as Amazon f...d user authentication and I can't log in to get my subscriptions. I also installed Youtube for TV - which works beautifully on Ouya - much better TV oriented interface. No dice either getting past login.
Why are these monkeys unable to understand that making things proprietary will always lead to disaster. I assume Amazon only cares about their drone users gobbling Prime content - maybe they will abandon Netflix support too...
Should have mentioned I stay logged out with no issues.
Unless a login nagscreen is preventing you from using the app,you should be fine, albeit without subscription access.
SORRY the title is supposed to say Showbox but my damn tablet auto corrected
First let me say that I usually never block ads on apps like these because I know it's their funding but as of late when trying to start something on the app to play it goes to an ad then crashed when I x out of it.
I use it mainly for shows not on my hulu and Netflix.
I tried ad block plus but it didn't work. Running rooted OUYA UI
Thanks
Try adaway, the logo is a stop sign with a pigeon and as you probably guessed. It is not available on the Play Store.

I already installed adaway and it seems to block youtube and twitch ads - but those damn prime ads still are showing up before prime movies begin (which is sooo stupid anyway - why do you advertise prime to those people that already got it?! gosh amazon)
Cant be done without also blocking the video. If you block the amazon ad server, it errors out and never loads the show.

Just use Samsung browser in night mode and go to read comic.to
Why would ya cast netlfix to Chromecast that's so dumb when it can directly play from that or TV.
Read draw on PDFs already tab s3 comes with Adobe and with write capabilities

The Netflix app has a cast button which loads Netflix on the Chromecast then using the phone/tablet you select what you wanna watch, so in a sense the Android app is like a remote for the Chromecast. Kinda dumb why you would judge without knowing what your talking about. Also my tab didn't come with Adobe. Sorry i don't do things like you.

Sorry to see you are so far behind in the world.
I guess you don't got a smart TV then. Android TV? Voice control?
It's not like YouTube to TV so that sucks for you.
Going through all that trouble.
You know, what you're doing there is actually a setting u can call it a trick but I don't know if I wanna tell you.
And honestly since ya don't got a HDR TV I suppose it's better to watch on tab itself ...
Well about Adobe, man I give up. Some people just don't apply logic. You must be one of those older generation or some rich dude who doesn't spend or just some retard.
Then again I'm a Mensan so I won't judge. You live your tier 3 life man, AI is what's happening in case you missed it.
And by the way, I absolutely know what you're talking of would have been better to buy a compute stick instead of Chromecast coz google really rapeyd ya on that one.
Lol
And Netflix is so 2010 nowadays a psarip will do.
Amazon people don't rip much.
Also I'm just paying 7 USD per year for it.
I tried Nextflix too and I paid for a month as well.
Not worth plus the internet it sucks it's better to just torrent from uni

These are all art apps. Markers is completely free..as in FOSS no ads, available to download source, modify and compile yourself (from github--playstore has compiled binary of course)etc.
The others are proprietary and...not terrible. Autodesk has made sketchbook pro for win/OSX (they're the same to me) .. totally free, not sure about sketchbook for android as I bought it years ago and cant tell if its paid or not since it's on my tablet.
