This is for the quad core Tegra3.
So I'm praying I'm just extremely overworked n over tired, n just not thinking clearly enough to realize what I'm doing wrong but here's the deal… took an RUU to 4.4.3, rooted, S-off, bootloader unlocked, but whenever I flash a kernel, it always says it flashed successfully in twrp, (2.7.1.2) , or I get the message saying that "this app not compatible with the phone“ soon as I reboot… I pretty much already figured out that when I took the RUU, it brought me back to having a SECURE BOOT IMG. … My Question is, HOW DO I GET BACK TO AN INSECURE BOOT IMG, SO I CAN ACTUALLY FLASH KERNELS AGAIN??? ANY HELP / ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

I recently bought a nexus 7 (2013) model from amazon, its on 5.0.2. I used wugfresh root tool kit to update the drivers, unlock the boot loader and then root it. However when I rooted it I got stuck at the twrp screen and then the toolkit timed out. I clicked around and got to a screen with red writing (I tried to post a link to it but can't because I'm new here, I can send the link if needed I feel like it could be helpful.) I used my PC with the toolkit and plugged my nexus into my PC. I'm not sure what I did wrong or honestly what I'm doing for the most part. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. If more info is needed for me to receive help please ask and I will answer to the best of my knowledge.
I am not familiar to rooting so if you're going to try to harass me about not knowing anything please do not post. I'd like friendly helpful people as I have already stated I don't really know much about this. Thank you to anyone who can help I really appreciate you taking your time to help me
Hello dude, are you sure your bootloader is unlocked? I mean when you turn on the N7 is there any chain unlocked on the bottom of the screen?
I would personally advise against using root toolkits like Wugfresh, because if you learn exactly what's happening in the root process, it'll help you in the long run.
What I would do is hold the power button until the screen turns off, and then try the root process again. If you don't have a lock symbol below the Google logo when you boot up your tablet, the unlock wasn't successful and you need to re-unlock it. Then you should restart the rooting process again. Hope this helps.
Hey, well... today, i decided to root my phone ( all because i wanted the IOS emojis...) and when i was done i tried to remove my root, and when i went into super SU and clicked remove root, it put my phone into a brick. Now, i get into TWRP and it always tells me I have no OS! I have downloaded so many roms with no success! I'm in Canada with Virgin Mobile. Would give anything to get my phone back to normal, and remove my root!! Right now my bootloader is unlocked and i have TWRP. Any help is really appreciated!! Thanks Guys!!!
