Very low antutu scores with gingersnap.. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Just a general question... Since I flashed gingersnap, I've been clocking antutu scores in the high 4s, when I was getting sixes and sevens with juggernaut. Gingersnap feels like a faster rom though!?!? What do you guys think? Are the scores relevant?

This is why benchmark scores are bull. Just use what you feel is best, and don't worry about what some arbitrary number has to say.

[Q] How to make Quadrant score higher?

If mine is counted low....how do i make it better? Im only 12...so im not that good as DooMLoRD
Thats a high score .....
But look in the arc themes and apps section. Doomlord released a tool to raise quadrant scores.

Oh ok....thx
Note: Quadrant scores are pretty much disconnected from performance.

Benchmark Challenge? (Bored with nothing better to do)

As of today I'm the fastest.....I don't like quadrant much...post your score and combination (if you want)

Try and burn this muahahahahahaha
Uhh wow is that on a sph d700? Cause I don't see that score in the ranking .... I'd be curious as to what YOUR setup is.
What version/benchmark is that on?

Its not its a g2 only thing I know that will score so high in cpu and achieve 5200+ without an i/o hack... however I missplaced my screenshot of my phone at 4504

I've glitched my phone before haha. i once got 140 MFLOPS in linpack haha.
But yes a G2 would normally hit that range.

Its Quadrant Advanced and my Setup is:
CM7 Nightly 16
Samurai Seppuku
1.5GHz 400MHz Gpu OC
I'm at 4137 on antutu with no hack just cm7 and Sammy's Ronin7 at 1500

Here it is!
Too bad I never did antutu when my phone was setup like this.... otherwise it would have put that 4137 to shame

Good for me I can hold the title for a day or two

What's funny is that once I switched to mtd I can't get my quadrant benchmark past 3000 no matter what I do . I used to get 3500 4000 on lengendary rom with minor tweaks and no real hacks ...being a noob and all ... anyone know the deal?

It deals with the kernel.
Listen Samurai may not show benchmark scores up high but it performs better trust me. a score is a score nothing real.

I/o fattening script was taken out of his kernels to get rid of the crap it was doing... that's why its not a hack but was making the i/o get all the scoring now its just pure samurai thus the 3000

Gotcha! .... any cm7 mtd kernels that pop like that?

Nope they all have left the i/o inflators out...

@marcusant....I'm a big fan of the v3 keep up the good work!
All in all I'm at 4100+ on antutu I think I still have the title on that benchmark for the epic, that's me at 4137 ;-) pics forthcomming. Still a noob trying to post pics to this forum from my phone.
My quadrant standard is at 2800 (which is mos def not the highest score but its a legit 2800-2900) and my linpack is at 26.5 on average. And its a daily driver I save battery by using an app called 2x battery, it kills the data connection when the screen is off, it helps a little. I. Don't believe in profiles on voltage control or set cpu.

[Q]Overclocked kernel? Good Performance build

Any overclockable kernels for samsung galaxy SGH-I747M Bell? Also, what rom would be good to use?
Stock rom, I lag in Modern Combat 3, and my quadrant scores are always 4.1-4.3k. Using Kyan and Ultimatum I get up to 4.8k with change. I replaced my S3 few times thinking it was defective. Yet, I get the similiar scores. Any help?
I've used Chainfire 3D but that seemed to nerf my perfomance.
Scores are normal, but what did you expect? Our version of gs3 is weaker then international, get that if you're unhappy with performance.
Dev section has OC kernels but that won't double your FPS in games.

[Q] Lemon Processor? [Solved]

After owning the Galaxy S3 for 2 months and doing lots of flashing of roms and kernels, I've decided that I have a lemon CPU. So my GSIII can't score over 6000 in Antutu, even at 2Ghz/Performance (it actually scored 4800 @ that speed), because the processor score is so low. The highest I've scored in Quadrant is ~5800, @ 2Ghz/Performance. I can't undervolt below 1050/1075 mv @ 384 because I get crackling when listening to music. It runs all smooth though. I had some performance issues in NOVA 3, but I think that was a rom issue. So, what do you guys think?
The rom you use will drastically change your benchmarking scores. For instance. I used to always get under 6000 in Antutu on every TW rom. OCd to 2 GHz as well. Now I am running JB CM10 and am getting well over 8000. No crackling in music while undervolt etc.
Your CPU is fine

I tried CM10 too though... About a month ago. Same 4900ish score. I got like 6000 one time on a TW rom.
Edit: I retract that. I tried the new JB TW rom and got 6000... with power saver... on Antutu. Maybe I just have a finicky CPU! Looks like for the first time ever, with the JB TW Rom, I hit a few points of 8000 in Antutu and 6000 in Quadrant... I don't know what the deal is. I have been trying different roms since the beginning of August and then today I tried a new one that worked for me. I guess I retract my question. Thanks!
Anytime! Remember those benchmarks can vary drastically even between test. A reboot could give you an extra 1000. Use them with a grain of salt.
Don't forget to use sunspider! Its a web based benchmark that tests your browsers speed.

One X - Lower Quadrant score / Android Rev. HD 9.7.2

Hi there,
It seems like everyone has 6000 in Quadrant on his One X , using Android Revolution HD, wich is stock.
I don't seem to get higher then 5350 in Quadrant, same thing happens for Antutu benchmark where I get around 12500,
and else get like 13000. I did a quick comparison and the cpu scores somehow looks lower then others.
I have a variant 1, stock boot.img android revolution HD 9. Anyone got an explanation / fix for this?
Thanks
Well, i heard that people say that Quadrant is not stable and chaining score all the time. I tested it and it's true Quadrant is not the best benchmark app. I can recommend you AnTuTu it's much more accurate and better!
It seems that my I/O score is half the score of someone else, I get around 5k instead of 10k

Not only that but scores are higher in the paid than free version, antutu is a better test as said, you should score between 10 and 12 k.

Antutu should 'always' be higher than 12k since the 4.0.4 update.
It will only ever be less if battery is running low.
