Hi i know now you can get ics launchers for cyn 7 but are there any complete mods out there that basically mod it so it looks like ics?
Someone else asked this in another forum and got no answer, wandred if anyone here knew of any?
Don't know if this is any use. I used it when I was on CM7. I thought it was pretty good.

There are just so many damn ROM's to go through I was hoping y'all could help me out. There don't seem to be a lot of ICS ROMS either. What gives?

All ics roms we have are not on XDA except for 2

Yeah and ics is still so new and not complete its going to take time to put that all together but be patient and it will come soon...
for best ics rom I would personally go with Jared the Greats ICS rom, which is available on blazing-roms.com
At the moment I'm using the MazWoz ICS Beta 2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1481091) and it seems pretty stable to me but the only thing that I've found is the gallery bugs out sometimes.
I think you should wait on the ICS roms because I have been searching this site for a good 2 weeks for it. I tried the jared the great one. It isn't too special but it works if your that desperate. Give it 1-2 months and it will be all over the place!
Please search before opening a new thread. There is no best rom. Only best for you.

Hey, all, just wanted to say that I'm new to Android and have probably been on here during the Samsung Blackjack days.
Any who, I need to be pointed on the right direction. What is the best ROM to use right now (stable)? I really hate the T-Mobile bloatware and have already rooted my phone, using the required steps given by this site.

Juggernut

Saying which ROM is best is very subjective. I would recommend trying dewizzed, macnut, and juggernaut. Those in my opinion and in same order are the most stable. Try each one for a days and see which one out ultimately feel suits you best. Everybody likes something different so start flashing and testing.
There is enough hate in the world. Why can't we all get along here ...?
I use spotify with my phone, does it need a specific ROM or it just needs to be based off of Gingerbread or whatever?

If you like the feel of the stock ROM, but want extra features and tweaks, go for Juggernaut. It is extremely fast, stable, and well developed overall.
And spotify should work.

Yea, I hear yea. What I meant to say is I want a stable ROM without the Tmobile bloatware and I want it to be faster than what is already loaded; a slimmed down version.

Also, just wanted to ask because I didn't do a backup of my original ROM, would I search for stock rom in this sub-forum?

You would look in the development forum, there are quite a few ways to get back to stock.

Can someone please point me in the right direction...I have Juggernaut, pretty effin sweet, I must say. I have Go Locker with the Honeycomb theme. How can I install different lock screens, and do they have to be compatible with the Honeycomb theme?
Mod, if this is in the wrong place, please move it accordingly.
Get the Tuesday rom... best, stable , fast newly updated rom

havent used jugs in awhile but i believe you have lockscreen options under rom manager..and on the market there are tons lock screen replacements. go locker, magic locker, those are 2 good ones out of many. once you have either those simply find what theme you like.

Tw or aosp?

That has got to be one of the most poorly written questions I've ever seen. With a mastery of English like that (did you mean "easiest" when you said "easys"???), how on earth do you hold a job that allows you to afford a smartphone? Holy crap. That seriously makes me sick. What's wrong with our schools...
And it's not even a real question... 'best' isn't an "at everything" thing, or there would only be one ROM, because the rest would all be 'worse'. You need a specific question if you are looking for any kind of meaningful answer.
I'm sad to say I'm interested in the answers to this topic, which is why I read it myself... let me try wording it better so that you don't simply get pummeled by people making fun of you:
Of the Jellybean ROMs out there:
What's the most stable ROM?
What's the ROM closest to stock Google Jellybean?
What's the most built-out, tweak-able Jellybean ROM (including features not in stock Google JB), and how does it compare in stability to the most stable ROM?
How do the new Sprint/Samsung leaks compare to these?
My bad I didnt proof read everything I sent it out but you say whatever you want not going to hut my feeling any I got other thing to do besides pick ob people instead of trying to help someone isnt that what this site is for to help people and pick on people and im running tw jb now but either doesnt matter to me just looking for a better rom

Simply stunning. Man.
I did help - I reworded your question into something that people can respond to with meaningful help for you (and me):

Note the Sprint leaks are Touchwiz - should indicate a JB OTA update coming soon if you didn't want to install one custom. The latest ROMS are pretty clean - cleaner than the ICS final release leak for the Epic 4G Touch was, so that may be forthcoming soon.
I know they've been able to do it on international versions, but I haven't seen one for a US rom.
I've tried other apps out there, and they all end up being nothing but static.
Any other options?
Looking badly for one also. Very sad, so many developers with nice JB ROMs and noone can add CallRec If you will find anything pls let me know. I'll do same

I did not know this... does stock JB allow you to do this? Or only ICS?

Oh I did tried it and love it. Most of the themes are not adjusted to fit the measurements of the the phone. I'm always using the default theme because it fits fine, but there are others that just not for this phone. I wish that someone continues to work on this rom.
Ok I don't know about the rest of you guys but I'm getting bored of Lollipop roms. Why? well....They all look the same and promising new features as it progresses. Thats fine but I'm kind of bored of looking at the same thing. Thats why I like MIUI, its different. Now, I see that its closed and no one is working on it. If I know how to create a rom I would work on this rom.
I would love to have an updated version of the MIUI v6
Does anybody know if there will be another MIUI rom coming to the LG? I sent a PM to the developer of the rom for the LG but haven't heard anything yet. So I was wondering if anybody know if someone else will be working on this rom. I would love to have MIUI back on my phone.
