I have 6 GB free and CM7 keeps saying cannot move app to sd card, card full. On nightly 9 and Bushido kernel. Also homescreen lag when scrolling is intolerably slow. Tried rebooting several times. Thanks.

Have you tried a clean install from scratch, not doing a data restore, and not using a third party kernel?

No because when I did a clean install there was 600MB free. After data restore with Mybackup there was only 150MB free and then started grabbing a couple of themes and boom, low space warning.

Thanks Zeinzu, that did the trick. I put the Nightly 9 on fresh amd everything worked and the lag disappeared as well. Flashed Shadowkernel on top and it is still good now.
Good deal.

Ive had a rooted droid inc for awhile now, im currently running incredibly re-enginered 2.3.. I downloaded 4 new roms and put them on my SD card. Every time i go to load them, they install fine but the phone resets every time the phone loads the home screen. It does it with every mod i try. i tried using 3 different versions of clockwork and it still does it. Any ideas??
Did you do a wipe before installing the new roms

Yes. I have a guy at work who is huge into rooting and different roms and when he tried installing them he gets it to loop too.

Try downloading 2.4 loser. ;-)
It doesn't matter what rom I try loading. Does it to them all

Is SD card full or nearly full? Make sure you have ample space.

I have a 16 gig with like 12 gig free

Now I can't even get it to load a rom.. it gives me install errors
I Know I don't have that, I checked and have plenty of internal storage. The app I'm trying to download is SummitX Snowboarding. Anyone having any issue like this?

any apps that you have installed, have you moved them to your sd card? if not, you should delete a couple just to make some space, and then install app2sd from market. this will allow you to move those apps to your sd card.

And above I only have like maybe 10 apps installed so I know its not a space issue. I used to have like 30 installed before

What rom? If you did the mtd convert cwm method you need an init.d script to fix big apps

Can you point me in the right direction to do this? I read about it before and can't remember where. Just noticed the market tells me my device is not compatable when trying to install google earth. I just tried it as I know it is a rather large app. I am on thunderhawk 3.3 manually converted to mtd with shadow mtd. Thanks.
Edit: I was able to restore earth fine with titanium, but it still shows incompatable in the market when checking to see if I could update it.

Try checking the amount of space you have
Even if you have enough you might get stopped because the is doesn't like the storage to get full
Also try installing from the desktop browser version of the android market

I flashed CM10 and am running the latest nightly (12/13/12) and I didn't run into this issue until I had to flash back to stock after getting an error trying the unofficial 4.2 release. Anyways after flashing back and getting my phone to working order. So GMail has sync errors, doesn't show all new emails, while on my CPU they are unread and new. Also after installing a new app or rebooting where I have it on my dock it disappears and I have to move it back. Tried uninstall and reinstall and no fix.
And for the SD card issue, I think its just not fixable, but I reformatted it three times, still says unmounted unexpectedly and stuff randomly are there any fixed to this also?
Thanks guys!

What version of gapps are you using?
4.2.1 I believe it is the latest cause I don't have an update available. Its official Google.

Had to resort to a factory reset/data wipe. Seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the troubleshooting tips guys.

Ok so i was running the note 2/3 rom I forget what it's called and my phone was randomly rebooting itself. So i wiped everything did a factory reset and went to install my old apps and i kept getting this stupid error when stuff from the market went to install. The same exact apps that were running on the same exact rom. So then i got fed up and wiped everything and installed the sks mk4 rom and I still have the same issue. What is going on with this?

Did you wipe the internal sdcard?

I found a little trick on the interwebs. Open up TB. Once it finishes loading, hit the menu key. Select batch operations. Scroll down and select the orphan data choice. Fixed me up a few times.

Well try the titanium backup method mentioned hopefully that will help. When changing roms it is alwats best to wipe your internal sdcard to avoid these kind of issues.

I had this last week. Couldn't get gmail to install, then a different app. Since I was using philz, there wasn't a fix permissions. If you're not using that recovery, try fixing permissions. If you are, use the app rom toolbox lite to fix it.
Ok so the titanium backup method worked as far as I can tell. Everything has installed since I did that. Now my problem is for some reason xda app keeps disappearing. The icon stays on my home screen but disappears from my app drawer. When I click on the shortcut on my home screen it tells me app isn't installed. Then I have to go to play store re install it and click the same shortcut and it opens
