Currently I am using Widget Locker on CM/7 but ever since I installed it I have been getting weird phone reactions and my battery is dropping a lot faster.
Regardless of the problems or not I am kind of a minimalist person as far as what's on my phone. I like clean simple looks with as few non used apps as possible. Ie; if I am using minimalistic text then I'll completely uninstall SimiClock. Don't judge me lol it's my OCD. It bothers me having to use a widget for a lockscreen too.
my QUESTION is this. What is the level of difficulty to actually mod one of the current lock screens to this slider? JUST the slider, I do not care about widgets being on my lock screen.
Is it simple png editing? Does it move to medium level xml? Or do I have to say eff that cause I can't code in smali lol.

Hi I've got a question about all the launchers that are based on the original ICS launcher why do they have such a huge no usable border around each screen and so much space between the icons? and can it be fixed ?
Here is an example of a widget with ICS on the left and Gingerbread skinned to look like ICS on the right its just terrible and makes the stuff on the screen so small

Could be way off but id assume its due to the HD screen. Either use Nova Launcher and decrease margins with some sort of similar widget, or wait for the launcher to be updated .
Thanks for the suggestion I tried Nova and not too fond of it but I found a sort of solution by getting rid of the quicksearch bar and making my desktop grid 5x5 instead of 4x4 and manually re-sizing it
Sorry if this is a dumb question.. I have go launcher ex, and when i'm looking for new themes, I keep seeing a wallpaper that I believe has the date on it, in big numbers.. I included some screenshots of what i'm talking about.. But I have no clue how to get that wallpaper.. Or the date or whatever the big numbers represent. Is it a widget? Or a certain setting in the app? Can someone let me know how I do this? Please!!

It's a widget called BobClockD3:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bob.clock
The large numbers are for the time, not the date. I use this all the time because it looks great
Thank you so much for Ur help!!

Wallpaper to tweak it yourself
Using HD launcher
Grid size 4*7
Clock is blueprint tech clock...
Uccw skin I will upload if you want it
Basically I want to make a whole theme based off these types of future vector graphics...
But I wanna get some input from you guys as far as ideas on how to do this.. or if you even like the design???
I also have homescreen that utilizes the wallpaper. One thing I do recommend is to use the invisible icon, and put a icon on the wallpaper. This will make everything look cleaner. Other than that, awesome work!
Swyped on my Galaxy Nexus running AOKP with Franco Kernel, overclocked to 1.4GHz
Switched to Nova launcher and am really liking it so far. Only thing I miss is the calander widget from Touchwiz that will actually show the month with appointments visible.
Is there anything like that for Nova?
You widgets should still be the same. Unless you are running a asop Rom.

The widgets are attached to the TW launcher so they won't be there. Check out Pure Calendar in the play store...
business Calendar free has very similar widgets, and they can be themed.
Thanks, that agenda is exactely what I was looking for.
Loving Nova, really fast and clean.
I used Agenda until I found Android Pro Widgets (APW). I like APW since it also has a Facebook widget that I use for as my Facebook app instead of the actual Facebook app. Works for me.
