Hi all,
I've got a problem with my cache partition i think ( after reading a bit ).
When i tried to install an app today it said: not enough space.
Had this error before and deleted market updates, cache and files.
Now i'm back at the old market but the apps I try to install only download and then jsut nothing, they don't install or anything. The market itself also won't update.
When i wen't to the recovery i get the error that it can't find the cache, i also can't mount cache. Without the sd card it doesn't work either.
The only thing i did today was moving some apps from phone to sd .
I never touched any partition or anything.
What's going on here?
Btw. phone is: r800i unlocked bootloader, doomkernel v8, stock rom, 1,4ghz stable

Use flashtool, see if you can just flash cache, if not flash a whole rom, should fix the issue.

tnx man it worked,
Kinda weird because i tried it before but then i got an error in flashtool.
Maybe because I did a nandroid before or just bad luck.
Anyway tnx !!!
Do you know what caused this trouble?
Because i get a 32gb micro sd tomorrow and i wan't to move some app2sd.
But don't want to end up the same

Sometimes when you flash a rom, cache partition does not get flashed proply, so it can lead to having less space in cache than is being reported.

I'm not sure exactly why it happens, maybe cause I installed many roms this day and installed many applications so something is ****ed up with the settings.. but I've no idea how to fix it.. I tried factory reset/wiped everything I could.. and browser still crashes.. even when changing roms and firmwares it still crashes..
Why is this happening?
Thanks in advance

Should be in Q/A. Have you tried JPO? What rom are you currently on?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
I'm using JPA firmware
Sorry for the takjng ages to reply. I see you've already tried reflashing stock JPA? Thats odd that reflashing, wiping cache etc doesn't fix it.
For the timebeing you should use another web browser until someone can find a fix for you. Judging by the lack of comments people probably don't know how to help you.
Sorry....

Is there a way to format the phone card (not sd card, the one that has the system files) and install a new rom?

Can't you format internal sd from recovery? Can't double check kinda busy atm.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
You can format the internal storage in recovery. This should work.
IT will still crash
I have tried a few roms and this browser crashes in all. You can prolong the inevitable by clearing the cache often but will still happen. If formatting helps then please let us know. Its not a rom problem but a froyo thing. Good luck.
Hi, I received a Samsung I9000. Would not go past "s".
Used odin to flash to Gingerbread- still would not boot. Flashed to stock 2.2.1.
Takes long to boot, then force close keeps on popping up for all applications installed. After startup, I noticed the same user data and applications on phone. I tried *2767*3855#. No luck. Booted into recovery and wiped cache and formatted, no luck. What else can I do?

AFAIK as long as you still notice same user data on phone, you won't get any luck repairing force closes.
Try to wipe data/factory reset first, then do flash any stock Gingerbread with repartition checked using Odin.
After that, you should have a clean ROM without FC.
Then it is best to redownload your installed apps from market.
If you would like to restore your apps using Titanium Backup try just to restore app only (without data).
Good luck and cheers...

Hello there,
I'm using Arconium final with doomkernel and baseband 36+patches.
My installation order is as follows:
1. flashing baseband.36
2. flashing kernel
3. boot into cwm and do a factory reset
4. go to advanced and clear dalvic cache and battery stats
5. flash arconium+timescape+sound mod
6. flash baseband libs
7. reboot
Now I don't have any space on my internal memory. There even isn't any space shown. I do not know how to solve this
I've attached a screenshoot so you know what I mean. I can't use the market as it complains "no space left".
Strange.
No problems here.
Flash the stock ROM again and repeat the installation of Arconium.

Try to use app2sd or Link2SD, you can move user apps to the sd card.

This don't solve problem itself.
Fresh stock flash is best option like Flo95 tell us.

A really strange problem, haven't seen such thing before.
But only thing to fix it, would be flash stock and then Acronium again like Flo95 already described, imo.
Try flashing 36-baseband and its libs after flashing arconium+timescape+sound mod..
Thank you very much!
I've flashed generic stock rom and then arconium again. All is fine now.
Maybe it was because I have had miui on it before?
Any time I try to flash a rom or anything I keep getting this message: E:/error opening '/data/lost+found'
I've tried flashing different roms but it hasn't helped.
I'm having this weird problem where when I flash a new rom about 20 random apps are transferred over to the new rom. (like random games and apps)
Also every time I uninstall any app I get "cannot read data/xposed/modules.whitelist"
The app still uninstalls but this just concerns me.
Could anyone help me out? I just want to do a fresh install of liquid smooth.

I found this in the Nexus 4 forum-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2147501. Sounds like the same issue.

Wipe everything, data, system, cache and dalvik
Then try reflashing your rom
Ok have you installed any app to sd type of application? It sounds like your internal storage is being read as external and visa versa.
Also i know there's lots of support for twrp but I swear by cwm when it comes to the GS3. I use twrp on my Nexus and that's fine but on the S3 cwm has always worked better in my opinion.
What roms are you trying to flash? They are sprint s3 roms right from this section?

I've done that. That's what the one post suggested.
I just don't understand why I'm still getting apps showing up when I install new roms.
What about wiping storage? I know you don't want to lose anything but it sounds like something in your storage causing this.

I haven't installed any app to sd type applications.
I do think part of the internal is being used as external but I thought that's just how it was.
I only have roms, nandroids, and titanium backups on my sd card.
I installed twrp because when I first started it seemed like that was what most people were recommending but it doesn't matter to me. I might switch.
Also I've been switching between cleanbean and liquid smooth, both from this section.
The main thing that bugs me is when uninstalling apps says "cannot read data/xposed/modules.whitelist"
The app still uninstalls but it just doesn't seem good.

A couple weeks ago, I was switching from a AOSP ROM to a TW ROM and I got the same error. Thinking it was TWRP, I hooked my phone up to my computer and flashed CWM. I then tried to flash the ROM in CWM and it was a no go. I still got the same error. I just decided to transfer all my data from my internal sd to my computer. I used Odin to flash the stock tar file. After that, I used QBKing77's method to root from recovery. Then I flashed my ROM and I got 0 errors. So all I had to do was start fresh haha. It took a bit of time because I was taking many precautions (as should you) Good luck!

Yes just as posted above, but before going the route of Odin back to stock. Copy all your files (important) from internal and external to your computer. Then boot into recovery no need to change now and reformat your internal and external storage, wipe cache and dalvik and fix permissions and reboot. Then download a fresh zip of a rom to flash and test it. If it all works then go through your files and move back what you need. I'm pretty sure you have a bunch of O folders in your internal.

I now cannot flash via flashboot and have no recovery.
Is there an alternative way to flash a recovery.img (Ican still see phone via fastboot devices)
Thanks
First of all stop making new threads everytime !
See now i would like to give help but i have to read what....3 threads !

Sorry, Ill stop posting new threads.
I posted new threads because each time I thought Id solved the problem.
How can I repartition then, if not my flash.
PS for some reason it appears I can flash in the morning after leaving phone overnight.
So maybe I can re-partition in the morning?
Fish
Keep trying, if it doesn't work you need to get it repaired at a repair shop/HTC .....not much else you can do
And as additional info, you can always use the existing thread you created. Once replied in there it will be back on top of the list.

Format everything
Ill try to reflash clockwork when my fastboot works.
From there ther is an option to format/ mount etc.
If i want to set everything to fully formated can i safely format everything in that menu.I was worried about formatting system, data etc. and then re-install recovey, rom and GAPPS?
I was worried if I formatted everything I might npot even get boot loader.
I have no data on the phone to worry about
And also there is an option to partition I think, can I use that, ?
Im guessing sd card partition is corrupt or hardware error.
Or can i format via windows?
Thanks

Installed lame?APK, keyboard and installs but does not work. unfortunately ASOP keyboard has stopped.
