(I've tried changing the time to midnight and that didnt work)
Many Thanks
EDIT: Just to add, Im in the UK and it seems to be protected apps not showing, I've tried marketaccess and marketenabler to spoof US to no avail.. can anyone offer any insights / help
an example of an app that should be available that isnt showing on JPK: Flicka and Bettr Flickr
EDIT 2: Not to worry I have now sorted this, feel free to close appologies for wasting time.. I have installed the Eris Market fix from android market and now working fine
Thanks for looking though
Yes mate, you need to ROOT and have Eric Market Fix, from the market. It's a free application.
Eris Market Fix did not work on my SGS, it froze and I had to close to forcefully. Did it work on your SGS?

Try an app called market access. Google it or search xda. It will let you pick the country's market you want.

I'll pray for you
if you know the application name, just add .apk to the application name and try to download it from 4shared.com. you will find most of the Apps, but to be true, that will not be as great as access to Market. Here in Dubai,we have access to only FREE apps in the market, but where as i travel to India, i can purchase apps from Market. so try moving to another country
Good Luck.

No Android Market in Sudan
Same problem my friend from Sudan. iam also from Sudan and iam the only one here who understand you very well...I used Applanet since i came from outside sudan..then it stop working...finally i use to search manually for applications in the web.....
but....
laugh a lot when you see all these commercials about android in Sudan....I am using Samsung Galaxy S...worth 500 Euros..but no market.. what a waste...
Root your phone(no need for custom hboot, recovery, rom, or whatever, just root it) and then use market enabler([us] T-mobile setting has all the apps that are on the market I think)...
Is there a way to download apk files from the market directly on to your pc? I dont have wi-fi at home and i dont have an unlimited data package on my XPlay so the data charges to download things from the market is quite expensive. It would certainly make life easier if I could just transfer the apk's via usb
No, nothing official at least

Not officially no, but illegally yes. i wouldn't go into details here as it can you banned though.
but at the moment no you can't google assumes we all have wi-fi and if apps were offline available it might lead to piracy on paid apps
Why don't you go to a mates house and downloads apps or school/college/uni or a library, or a wi-fi enabled internet cafe

I think thats what im gonna have to do. Either that or buy a wireless router :/ I might do a bit of research on some of these "frowned upon" methods of doing it first though
If you don't want a proper wifi network why don't you just get a USB wifi dongle for your PC and share the internet connection to your phone. If you're PC already has wifi built in as most do you don't need to buy anything.
Hi,
you can download a few free apps over here - apkmarket.de
just copy the file on sdcard & install it with a filemanager on your device ;-)
cheers,
Tut Tut Tut that's illegal and it can get you banned from xda
I think
Why is this illegal? I can't find any paid apps on this site..
Dont think it is if there just free downloadable applications
correct me if i'm wrong

Best place for free apps is getjar.com. They have a section called "gold apps" too. With there gold apps, they have done deals with the app devs to provide you selected paid apps for free.

there is a method to get .apk from the android market (http://market.android.com). But just a disclaimer, this doesn't apply to every app on the market.
Just click the app author's name and it will show you the list of other apps the author has on the market. On that page, there is a link saying "visit website for <author>", follow that link. If the author has his website tied directly to sites.google.com, at the bottom of that page there are options to download the .apk of his apps directly to your PC. Of course this mostly happens to apps which are free to begin with.
But just in case, you can also try going to the author's official website and check if they offer their apps as direct .apk download. HTH

Up! I'd like to have it too. I have an "incompatible" device too which actually runs ICS x). I downloaded this app on a compatible phone to get the apk but I couldn't find where it was on the phone and when i used a software that saves app on sd card it said it was "private" and i couldn't save it.
FFS it is a free app, why is it so hard to get it?

I know. I tried a lot of things. And till now its almost impossible to get the apk. I'm searching for days, and with no result so far. I realy want the cyman mark 2 apk for my LG optimus black. but it keeps saying that my device is not compiteble. I tried the google chrome extension(doesn't work with that app). I tried to modify my phone so google play can see my phone like its compiteble, but that won't work either. Somebody have any ideas the get the apk?
Hey could you give me a link how to make google play think my phone is compatible? I'd really like that even if it doesn't work for this app ^^.
Btw i asked the developper to send me the apk (thx it's free, we never know xD). I'll keep you in touch world .
Edit:
Ladies and Gentlemen, no answer from dev but there it is!

What, up? Huh?
Take that internet! xD

Hi guys,
I'm back in android world, but this time, I am more newbie than never.
I got a Galaxy Nexus here in Brazil (called Galaxy X here) and I am trying to install US Apps, such Citi US app or Bank of America app but it is not possible, I think just because the phone is not from USA.
I have already tried to remove the sim card, connect in a USA VPN, but without success.
I there any way to do this? Some apps are really important for me.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
have you tried "market enabler"?
edit: ow, and what do you mean with "not possible"? you cant see the app or it gives you some kind of error?
Just look for the .apks online.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
As someone mentioned Use Market Enabler, You are required to be "Rooted" however in order to fool the phone to think it's from a different region, Then simply choose Verizon/USA as your default Market choice. Works on both Play and the old Market. Or you can always use the power of Google to "arr" it.
the good of using market enabler is to make it be always updated... what is not the case when you just download an .apk file! what is a good thing when you are using it as bank client!
Thanks for all the replies.
Where can I find the "Market Enabler"?
Using the Play Store in the phone I can't even see the app. From the webpage it is possible to see the app, but it is blocked for my phone.
Thanks again.
You confused me completely with your last response thia...But I think I get the idea, But you don't need to update your MEnabler as mines is pretty old but does the job.

Download Here
here you go buddy. It's safe link anyways.
just remember, market eneabler needs a root phone to work.
and i meant with "keep it updated" is you can keep the app you downloaded (citibank in his case) updated, not market enabler itself!
Man! Thank you so much!!!!
Now I can install my bank apps...
