You will need to pull libpolarisoffice_Clipboard.so and libpolarisoffice.so from a stock rom containing it, and push them to system/lib ....

Thats the apk from the stock rom.
I just copied it to sdcard,cuz one of these roms didnt have it.
But thats stock.
Shouldnt have to add any libs.

Its weird the stock apk won't install on certain roms.. or it will but won't open files - just force close. After doing research I thought correct libs were needed, but never actually got it working.

I posted a link for the lib file you need on the first page. Without that, as someone pointed out, the app will force close as soon as you try to open any documents.. So, i've been searching and searching, and i cant find any trace kb apk's...i've found one link, but it didnt work, the apk was not there anymore....I would love to actuallly use a stock android kb, but i really like the slide style, i'm using the old shapewriter, i've tried FlexT9 and SlideIT, but didnt really like them. I tried my buddies sensation and he told me that you can slide on that kb...and now i really want that kb on my phone..... . So does anyone know where to find it? or could pop a link up or something?

Mine had an apk in it but also a odex file wich means it would have to be deodexed first and even then it might not work.

Not sure, but it could be missing some lib files. Or if you're trying to use it on sense 1.0, it could be a framework compatibility issue.

If you have the problem that yours won't update then delete it from system/app and then install this as a normal .apk... no need to push to system/app.... you probably can but there is no need to as it installs just fine as a normal app

I need help I am on the cynamgen mtd rom and when I press a channel it looks for my location then it goes to the spinning circle. I have gone back to stock and did a titanium back up and I do a restore once on the cynamagen rom. If I install the above mentioned apk it says can't verify subscription. My sprint football works any suggestions please help would love to watch my NBA games.

I wish I could help you out man but I have the same problem with cm so I just restore a tw mtd rom when my heat are playing... sorry... you can try out the new sprint nba app though it works pretty well!

I would rename your current calender to .bak instead of .apk so you still have it. Then using root explorer move this apk to system/apps the long press it. Click change permissions and I believe they should be set to rw/r/r. Good luck!

It's pretty simple. However this process still did not work on my rooted SGSII. But for future reference of these types of system files here ya go.
- Use Root Explorer to place the file in the System/App folder in the directory
- If the new file is a different name then you can easily just place it in that folder ( of course you have to change Root Explorer to R/O mode instead of R/W mode ) - ( if its the same name then just rename the old file to something you can remember )
- Permissions for most apps would be RW, R, R. Just click on the file and select "Permissions". After you do that you do need to re-boot the device to save the settings.
Note: I did try this with this calendar and it did not work. We actually need a SSGSIII Calendar ported to work on an SGII. I am not smart enough to make that happen. Although I would like to be able to do such things someday. Hope this helps at least for future reference.
I'm pledging $10 towards the Dev who can get the S-Calendar ported yo the T-Mobile SGS-2. Maybe more if it is done by Monday. I know it's not a lot, but it's what I can give.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but this seemed like the most relevant place to post.
I recently put CarbonROM on my phone and, after playing around with it for a bit, realize I absolutely hate the google calendar and just want my old calendar back. I downloaded the apk provided in this thread and attempted to install it but it says I already have the app. Sure enough, if I go to Settings > Apps, it shows up as Calendar Storage, but there is no icon anywhere, such as in my app drawer, that allows me to load the program. I even tried using QuickShortcutMaker, but it can't find the calendar anywhere in the list of apps to make a shortcut. Does anybody know what I can do?

I am not sure, but it would seem, S Planer doesn't work on any other ROM than the Samsung Official ROM.
I don't know why... I've testing a lot of possibilities (replace the original AOKP's apk by the Samsung's apk, do a wipe Dalvik, wipe cache, modify the permissions...), a lot of apk (recovered here, recovered on an original v4.1.2 samsung's ROM, recovered on the testing v4.2.2 Samsung ROM...), and it never work on my CyanoGen Mod 10.1...
It isn't an incompatibility with an other home than TouchWiz because I've never use this home with my previous Samsung's ROM and S Planer working correctly...
I will continue to looking to do working S Planer with an other ROM, but I have little hope... :crying:

carp, theres supposed to be a lib file for the gallery. im going to take down the gallery link and reupload it with the lib. will do the same for the camera just in case. there are 5 for the camera, so im not sure which one or all is needed. i cant seem to find one for the music player

All, I tried renaming everything to match what was being replaced. Then I did not rename anything. I tried installing them normally. I tried everything I could think off. I'm guessing it's because the note 2 runs on JB on the rom I'm on is ICS. I'll try them tomorrow with one of our leaks.

Is the gallery a flash-able zip? How do you install the gallery apk? Do you push it to sytem>app along with the odex file and should I or do I have to back up the original gallery apk?

It just installs like a normal APK. I;m not sure of all the new features, I know they optimized the UI, not sure what all they changed.

As far as I can see from playing 5 minutes with it, only the driving mode is different.
Makes sense since they mentionned on the launch of the S4 that the app was now called S Voice Drive (or something like that).
I'll rehost it for you on my own server - so we don't have to keep dancing with file sharing hosts..

I pulled these from the system dump. I have a feeling that the AccuWeather app doesn't work on out phones. There was only the weather.apk and the weather deamon.apk.
Since it was a odexed ROM did that mean they had to have their odex file included and only worked on a odexed ROM ?
