Another question for you guys... I was playing around and was trying to get notification bar mod to work on my phone. i backed up the systemui.apk, then used the modified one and overwrote the stock one. well, it didnt work and made my notification bar stop working and rotated my screen to the side like it was docked. I replaced the original systemui.apk and got my status bar and notification area back, but my screen wont rotate back, and when i hit the home button it takes me to what looks like would be the home screen if the device was docked. Help please, its annoying the hell outta me!
Does anyone haved the stock systemUI.apk?
**EDIT: failed at everything i tried, but somehow its all fixed now! I guess i just need to power it off for a little bit.

I installed HTCustom primarily to remove the SMS notification, but I've found it's broken other things. The title bar of the home screen can no longer display the battery information. When I tell it to show the battery information, I just get a blank section of the bar that cuts off half the reception logo, and completely hides the volume icon.
Uninstalling doesn't resolve the issue.
I can set it to display the time or date, and it seems to work, but that's useless, because I already have that information on the screen. The battery info is much more important.
Could any tell me what I need to do to either completely remove the application and remove any changes it made, or at least how to get my battery to display on the title bar correctly?
I'm running Black 4.0, and I don't really want to have to just reflash my PDA to fix this problem.
Kinda annoyed :/
Thanks for any help in advance

Is there a reason why you didn't post in the 'HTCustom Thread'?
Cause I didn't see it
Nevermind, I had an older version installed. Seems to be working okay now
Hey guys! I finally used a custom ROM! Woooo!
Now, it being 4.2.2, which, I have no idea how to use, it's pretty frickin' sweet. It's PacROM by Kick Buttowski, and a modified light kernel by bubor.
I have a few questions.
First, how do I remove the stupid (pretty) notification bubble that is always on the left side of the screen? I have a status bar; therefore I've no need for this. Next, last night, after turning off the phone, and placing it on the charger, it tried to boot, but just hung in the Pacrom is Loading screen, and didn't charge the battery. I don't know what causes that, or if it's and error from CM, but it's pretty annoying.
I love the new ROM, but if it continues to act up, I think I will have to find another.
Any ideas, or suggestions?
Hey!
Halo is what that notification bubble is called. You should be able to get rid of it by double tapping, dragging it to the center, and then dragging it to the x that appears.

Thanks for the reply!
Ok, I got rid of that now. It's a nifty idea, just not one I need.
Any ideas on the boot hangup?
As of today I have started to get a gray bar that appears on the bottom of my screen with a design that looks like a thumbprint on it. It covers the bottom part of my keyboard making the space and return keys completely inaccessible. The only way I've found to temporarily get rid of it is to restart my phone. Anyone know what this is?
hold home and swipe up to see if it goes away.
How about a screenshot? Install a new app recently?
I took a screenshot, and tried to post it with the initial question, but the forums won't let me post it since I have never commented here before.
No new apps, but I had just recently started using the car dock. It did it probably about 15 times that day, but hasn't done it since, and I didn't come back to look for answers until the next day.
Thanks for the responses, and if it happens again I'll try Tidbits suggestion and post if it works.
Hey guys, new to the group so i apologize if this has been covered before. Has anyone had issues with the nav bar? My screen keeps freezing up and i cant do anything until i hit the back button on my navigation bar/soft key. Once i hit the back button its like it unlocks my screen and i can go about my buisness. I never had this issue until i was messing around with setting on chrome://flags. I went back and restored all flags to default but it doesnt seem right. like my navigation bar stays highlighted now also. any help would be amazing. Device has unlocked bootloader but hasnt been rooted or rom'd
Please can anyone resolve this, it's driving me crazy!
I have a nest camera that sends me notifications...
When recieving a notification I used to be able to tap the little indicator on the right hand side of the notification and it would show me the clip without having to go right into the app to view it.
This work when locked or unlocked... Now it won't work on either
Indicator is missing.
Any ideas please?
After hours of trying to sort this I managed to fix it seconds after posting on here
I'm using Nova and I had disabled oneui by accident and the notification permissions had been wiped out in one ui
No, it's doing it again
