Wall + Car Charger for Motorola Xoom
Says Shipping only costs you $2.95 in the lower 48 so total you're paying $9.44 not including any Tax I would assume. I paid ~$25 for just the car charger when I first got my Xoom.
Saw these, I already own them but looks like a great deal for 'em, even if it's just for the Car Charger!
I don't believe these are Xyboard or w/e it is compatible as I think that charges off Micro USB.
Have a good one all.
You can also get the original Motorola ones from Staples for 2.50 each. I got the car charger for 2.50 at my local Staples in Los Angeles, CA.

Can you, if you still have it, give us the Staples SKUs for each charger? Thanks.
(In any case this is a lucky find as I just broke the middle pin on my car charger today!)
I don't have the SKUs anymore, but the model # of the car charger is SJYN0597A. It was on clearance for $2.50 at the local Staples.

Guess I know where I'm going at lunch. Hopefully they have them here.
No luck at Staples in Cedar Rapids, IA. They didn't have any car chargers and all of their Xoom stuff was full price.
No luck at the few I'd tried in Silicon Valley, either. What zip are you in, "powerchilango"? I actually live in SoCal (and work in NoCal) and can try some stores when I get home.
No luck in Las Vegas either.
I'm beginning to think that this may have been a store only special in that posters area.
Id rather spend the 7 bucks and save the gas - having them ship is much easier.

OK, so my units (I bought two apiece) showed up yesterday. I'd expected cheap Chinese knockoff-quality units, but the worst part is the tips don't make a good connection to the charge port unless you wiggle it a little 'tll you find the right spot, and don't move them around after that.
They're OK for the price for an emergency backup, but don't expect to use them to replace an official Moto unit long-term.

SO true. I'll leave 'em in the other car and in my desk in case I REAAAAALY need to charge in an emergency (and expect to have to hold it all the time), but yeah, it's like they didn't even test 'em first.
I'm almost tempted to leave a review on o.co to warn other Xoomers.
I could have sworn I saw these were original OEM Motorola chargers. That's why I got them. Guess I was wrong. Beware everybody....

Great Price, here in Brazil original charger cost $60-$70 dollars.

I use the usb cable that came with my wife's LG Optimus - works great!
I didn't want to risk a no-name cheap extended battery off of eBay, so I ended up paying full price for my Sprint 2600maH and it's worked well. My brother grabbed a cheap one off Amazon and didn't have any problems with his though, but his doesn't last quite as long.
Thanx for replies I pmd you. Also where can I get a cable? mine is messed up!

Completely untrue. Buy any cheap cable. You won't notice any difference. Gild plating, shielding, wrapping...it's all just good marketing.
Just find one on monoprice or ebay. If you spend more the cable may ladt longer but its not gonna make your transfers and charging faster.

Cheap can be great. http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10303&cs_id=1030307&p_id=5458&seq=1&format=2
They have them in other lengths too. The 28/24AWG Cable w/ Ferrite Core ones are better than the thinner ones (28/28) they have though, particularly if you want a longer length. I found they sometimes had trouble charging at 1A (when paired with a 1A charger), but even they get the job done, if a little slower on the charging. The 28/24 ones work great -- I have a 15 footer.
So far the most reliable and reputable brand i came across on forums is Mugen Power brand, you can check their fan base on facebook yourself, and read some user comments there. Or ask questions.
http://www.facebook.com/MugenPowerBatteries
It is a pretty strong community for such a product as batteries, and apparently their customer support is very good, they exchange stuff if there are any problems etc. FYI: on facebook they also give out discount codes.
And i read some of their higher capacity extended batteries make phones last at least 3+ days with excesive use. The record i came across was 85 hours from 4800mAh battery with heavy use so i guess Mugen proves the price/quality tag alright!

TBH, you can't go wrong with the Motorola charger. It's solid, name brand, and quick charges. (plus it's roughly 4.85 on amazon) The problem with ebay is fakes... for something like this.
Griffin 2A usb charger (charger only) use with a good microusb cable and you will never buy anything else again...
This thing charges so fast its crazy. And it's great quality, though expensive...
Be careful online.. Griffin sells their throw aways for super cheap in package so they look like retail products... (the upc might be 1 off or something)

***UPDATE*** there is an issue with some Nexus 4s and the Nokia DT-900. It appears to be an issue with some N4 implementation of the QI standard. Also does not semi affect all N4s. I don't own an N4 so don't know all the details. If you own an N4 this charger may not work for you.
I recently got a Nokia DT900 referb from ebay (white) for $24.99, and it works great. It includes a power source with a decently long cord.
I just saw AT&T is having a sale on the Nokia DT-900 (various colors):
http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/accessories/chargers/sku6290260.html#fbid=BsyWhzJwki0
hope this helps those that missed out on the back-ordered Samsung wireless charger.
Just saw the DT-910 is also on sale for &51.75 plus tax. For those that want a charger that works as a vertical stand. That's the best price I've seen on the DT-910. personally a littler more than I'm willing to spend (money's tight right now).
UPDATE: Someone pointed out that is you have a Premier accout you can get an additional 25% discount if you order two ore more, that's $38.95 after taxes for two ($19.48 each after taxes).
Great find, I'm going to pick one up at my local store tomorrow! Thanks!

I like the idea of wireless charging, but can't bring myself to pay $40, $50 or $60+ for a single wireless charger. $25ish is the reasonable area for me, maybe a little more for a charger that stand the device up for use while charging. Alas, all
those are still too pricey for me (Nokia DT-910, Tylt Vu).

wireless charging is less efficient, so all things being equal it will charge a bit slower.
I saw a chart someone made comparing the charge time of their phone, wireless (inductive) vs standard plugged in charging. It took that particular device (a Nexus 4, I believe) and additional 40 minutes to charge completely. I would assume the nexus 7 would take a bit more than that because of it larger battery. I would guess, and it is just a guess, a little more than an hour extra (75 to 90 minutes extra).
Maybe someone else who has done it can give you better info. I personally like to charge my device befer the go below 50% if it all possible.
I had the same thought you did at first but then someone pointed out that all Micro-USB ports are flimsy and that if you use them every day for charging, the can eventually wear out. So I could see it as an investment. Still haven't seen my way to forking over 50 bucks for the thing, but I may pick one of these up.
I'm not that worried about the usb port breaking. I mainly want the wireless charger just because I think it's cool I've yet to have a usb port break on me. I think I'll try picking one of those up at the att store since 25 seems like a more reasonable price for something I don't really need.

I have the Nokia 910 and it takes 5 hrs for a full charge. Approx 20% per hour. They work great for overnite which is what I use.

Went to my local store today and was able to price match their website. So far it seems to be working great! It is even charging through an older folio case that I have that doesn't fit the nexus. So it's good to know that function will still work once the cases I ordered have arrived.
Now, did I need to buy this... no... But like most of my technology purchases I buy them because I want it. I like the ease of just placing it on the pad at night and letting it charge. Also it will keep one less wire floating around and protect the usb port for a bit.
Thanks again, OP!

Tempting to get this. I had this exact charger that I used on my wife's GS3. The trickle charge kept us awake at night, so I sold it on eBay. My wife's GS3 would light up and make a sound when charging hit 100%. Then it would stop charging and restart when the device dropped to around 98%. Each stop and restart lit up the screen and played a notification sound. Not good when it happens next to your bed 8-9 times in the middle of the night. I guess its not a problem of you use a folio style case.
I don't think the USB port is going to break in the 1-2 years I will use this device before replacing it with something newer.
When I tried to select in-store pick up at checkout on the website there was no option to select a store, so I'm assuming I'll have to try to purchase it in-store.

Just got a black one from my local AT&T store. $24.50 plus tax, and they didn't have to price match it was on sale in the store for the same price. This was in Durham North Carolina near the SouthPoint Mall.
What I didn't realize before purchasing is that uses a proprietary cable, and not a USB cable. But for the price I guess I can't complain

I just picked one up from an AT&T store here in Los Angeles. I advised them of the online sale, but once they scanned it in, it showed up as $24.50. That part took less time than me explaining it to them what I was going to use it for!
Odd color scheme. I got the black one, but the actual power brick is white. Given the price, I can't complain...and it works perfectly.

I work for AT&T and the Nokia DT-900 is currently 50% off. It's not advertised and I didn't even know about it until I scanned it and saw it. Lucky me I get an added 40% discount. I'm not into wireless charging, but for only $15 I'll take it!
Getting back to the Lerway... I own one and it's a pretty decent charger. Not too finicky about positioning and appears to charge as fast as hardwired. It's actually a rubberized plastic which I didn't realize from the pictures, this compliments the N5 quite nicely.
But, if you can get a Nokia for 5 bucks more, don't be stupid, go for the Nokia.
I have two Nokia Qi chargers, one at work and one at home. They're great with the Nexus 5, no problems at all.
ONE WARNING THOUGH: The DT-900 use a proprietary charging cord. Not micro USB. Don't get the DT-900 for use in your car, it won't work!
They make a car charger, with a one piece cord that plugs into a car cigarette charger, but that is the CR-200 and will cost you more than the on-sale prices people have posted.
I have mentioned it few times now but the one in eBay is 10 dollars and change and works great . nice packaging too and ships fast . that's what I use every night.

The cool thing is that it takes a standard microUSB, which would be great for Travel.
It is a simple 4 pin USB connection. Pretty hard to mess that up. As long as there is a strong magnet, it should be fine. Plus the Hauwei watch charger kinda sucks to align anyway. I can't see how this would be any different.
Thanks for providing the link. I'm too new to this site so it won't let me post links. I guess I'll go ahead and give it a try.

As far as connecting, I recommend the technique I saw posted elsewhere... Lay the puck on the table and hover the watch over the puck until they snap together. Works every time for me.
