I have the swype beta installed on my mom's thunderbolt, and it works well. But I much prefer the look of the Swype that's made for the Nexus S, the one included in teh Unnamed rom, http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/6549/swype.png . I like the way it looks, the only thing I don't like anymore about the new Swype keyboards is the inclusion of the language button, I only type in English, so I don't want the option to switch languages lol.

Absolutely love any version of Swype. Though I'm also starting to dig SwiftKey X, just takes some time for the app to learn my word usage to increase prediction probability.

Love swiftkey X. For text messaging. Unfortunately, it has no predictions in some applications (like the internet) making it difficult to use.

Careful posting the apk. I remember others getting in trouble for that a while ago.
Best to post the files needed to theme ourselves with instructions to do so.

I don't know if one exists, but I do know that you can simply just extract the keyboard from a rom if you like how it looks. You don't need to go through the bother of flashing the rom or anything.

I'm interested in this answer as well. I'm actually pretty happy with the "SlideIT" Keyboard, but I'd like to know if we can skin the dialer without being rooted. I just got my EVO this week, so there doesn't seem to be a ROOT method that is consistently working for the new build.... hence I'm waiting til there is one to ROOT. In the mean time, I was wanting to skin my dialer to look like an iphone dialer.

I agree, I just can't believe no o e has a response. I've seen plenty of skinned android keyboards, and dialers. Too bad I'm not knowledgeable in themeing otherwise I'd give it a shot. I wish there was a place just for metamorph themes.. I checked everywhere I possibly could.

I have been searching for a flashable zip for the keyboard in Virusrom's Anthraxx Rom...cannot find anywhere ;(
This is the keyboard I want to theme/be themed. I just wish I could find something on it, the keyboard you showed appears to be the DroidX/2 keyboard which almost has the same feel as the keyboard I posted. The keyboard I posted is the stock keyboard from CM6. Although, if it's not possible to find a themed keyboard (CM6 keyboard) then I will have to stick it out with the DX/2 keyboard, let me know what you think, and thanks for your help! Really!

I was looking at the GS II in the TMO store today - still comparing it vs. the Amaze - however now leaning towards the GS II, and I wasn't too found of the keyboard. I am assuming that Swype, which I really like, can be used on it?
Thank, in advance.

Here is the latest Keyboard of mine. This one is based on the Leaked Android 4.2 JOP24G Jelly Bean Build.
Yes that's right from the Nexus 4 leak. I have tested it on Jedi Mind Trick v9 so I assume X and the newest one it would work with as well as any TouchWiz or AOSP roms based on Android 4.0.1 and newer.

I love this keyboard app, it like knows what I am thinking. I swear, I think Chuck Norris made this app. It has the Jedi ability to know exactly what word I am going to be using next. Freaky, sometimes, even when using a slang word or a complex conceptual word, the app gets it rite perfect, everytime. The best is that now, I only tap the keyboard once for every word. I reckon the aliens, or google must have planted little micro chips in our brains while we are sleeping, and now, it reads our frontal lobe and knows just what we are going to type, before the electrical impulse reaches our finger to type it. Thank you so much for this share, the best app I have used in a long time.

Any recommendations on best keyboard for LG pro?
Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2
I've tried many different keyboards and I always seem to come back to Swype. Slide style typing has always been a lot faster and usually more accurate for me. Swype ends up being the winner due to the accuracy and the handling of punctuation. One feature that I love is the ability to add 's to any word that you just typed. I haven't figured out how to do that easily on any of the others. I also like the alternative word suggestions for the word I just typed in case it was close to another word, I can switch it quickly. Seems like some of the other prominent sliding keyboards are to heavily focused on next word prediction that it makes it harder to easily fix the current word.
thanks form the feedback. I wonder if you have tried Fleksy?

Swype, hands down. It also comes with Dragon voice recognition, which is also the best.
(oops, time to update my signature.)
What's wrong with stock keyboard on G PRO? Anyway, A.I keyboard or Smart Keyboard are good alternatives.

The autocorrect is terrible for me. I'm using swype. Works great. Awesome skins as well.

Hahaha. Yea it is horrible. I use a.I. keyboard and one thing that I love is that it auto save certain word you type and it auto suggest that word, like email addresses.

Stock keyboard on the G Pro is admittedly terrible-- small keys, autocorrect is atrocious.
Although it seems like I'm the only one who prefers the Android AOSP keyboard over every other keyboard on the market-- I've tried them all, on multiple devices, and keep going back to Google's keyboard for the accuracy I have when typing, key layout, and autocorrect functionality.
i hv trued too many keyboards but finally i came to touchpal...it has got everything beautiful skins and many features..hv a try

I prefer the 4.2 Google keyboard
Swype lags badly after using it for a while
