Hi,
I was trying to install the CM7 and just following the instructions given on the Cyanogen website for the Samsung Galaxy S.
I had Froyo on my Samsung Galaxy and this guide says that one should have Gingerbird to install it, I am new to all this, so accidentally installed the ClockworkMod Recovery using the Heimdall. After installation, the starting logo screen of my mobile was blinking.
Then I realized and and download the ClockworkMod version (CF-Root-XW_NEE_JS8-v1.3-BusyBox-1.17.1) from xda-developers. After installing it with Heimdall, not my phone is hanged at the start logo screen.
I don't know what to do now, have tried installing ClockWorkMod again and again and have also tried to install it with Odin3, but unfortunately nothing seems working for me.
Please help me.

HELP!!!! I have an SGH-i747 Samsung Galaxy S3 U.S.A. AT&T Model, and I messed up. But I don't think it's real bad, I just don't know how to fix it.
So basically, I rooted the phone a couple of days ago, and later installed ROM Manager ClockWork Mod Recovery. After a couple of days, I finally thought I would try flashing a ROM. I tried to install the ROM with CWM, but instead I accidentally flashed the file "gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip" which is for GingerBread. After the phone rebooted the "SAMSUNG" Logo came on, then the "Rethink Possible" AT&T Logo screen, then it comes to the "Welcome to SAMSUNG SGH-I747 Touch the android to begin." Screen. When I press the Android, the phone acts like it's going start the setup process, but then gives me an ERROR Message that says "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped." I don't know how to fix this, and haven't found any topics on it yet. Please Help! Thanks in advance.
boot into recovery wipe cache, delvic, and factory reset then reflash the rom of your choice

Do you can reboot in CWM? If you do try to flsh correct GAPPS and see what happend or you can restore you phone usig ODIN or this metod : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1984717 . When you restore you may loose all of data and root in your phone.
Good luck.
Much appreciated guys, I got the S3 working again.

I was trying to upgrade a Samsung Galaxy Ace II, GT-I8160, from GB (2.3.6, build XXLK6) to CM11: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2555021
After a succesful install, (TWRP install, factory reset/wipe, and CM11 install via TWRP), I found out that some functions weren't working correctly. For example, the airplane mode could not be turned off, and error messages like "com.android.phone has stopped working" were shown. Then I read that the stock Samsung ROM should be installed first, before flashing CM11. So, I downloaded the following ROM, and installed it via Odin v1.83: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/30306/I8160XXNB1_I8160XENNE3_XEN.zip/
After installing this ROM, the phone started a boot loop. The Samsung logo appears (+ model name and number), and nothing happens. When the device is switched off (with the power button) the device boots automatically, and it hangs again. Flashing the ROM again via Odin didn't work, and flashing the originial ROM (XXLK6, region XEN) didn't work either.
Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do? I'm kind of stuck right now. Thanks in advance.
Problem has been solved using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-ace/ace-2-help/service-flashing-carbon-rom-imie-tact-t2953286
Hello all,
I've got a Tab 3 7.0 T210R stuck on the Samsung logo with pulsing blue background. I've read through several Samsung boot loop help threads as well as the general Loop noob helper but haven't found a fix yet.
For my stuck T210R, What I've done & can do:
Was rooted with a "patched" stock UK ROM from last March [sorry, don't recall which]
Was running fine until after I tried to install from Play the TWRP Manager, I obviously did something bad! like select wrong device maybe
I can get into Philz, TWRP, & use Odin
I don't have a recovery back up [i really don't care about restoring back to anything - just want it to work, clean slate, ya know]
Tried a couple of latest ROM's through Philz and a stock ROM XAC-T210RUEAMK1-20131122134958.zip though ODIN. They seemed to be successful but I still can't get past Samsung logo
I've tried these ROMS that seem to load but ixna on successful boot afterwards:
ODIN: KIES_HOME_T210RUEAMK1_T210RXACAMK1_1304745_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
Philz: Stock.rooted.deodexed.T210R.zip
Philz: TAB3-T210-HASSAN-ROM-V1.0-kitkat-4.4.2-Aroma-Mods-all Languages.zip
Philz: cm-10.1-20131209(1)-UNOFFICIAL-lt02wifiue.mine.zip
What's killing me is that loading new or stock ROM's SEEM to work - no errors or anything obviously indicative that I'll still be boot looping as soon as I restart. I'm quite desperate and thinking I'm truly bricked.
I haven't yet tried using ADB but if I can use ODIN and TWRP or Philz, will ADB do anything better than what I've already done? I haven't tried anything with the kernel as I can't really understand what to do there. I read and read and read the kernel threads but with my experience its really not as straight forward as rooting or flashing a ROM or software, and I could conceivably screw up worse! I'm mildly experienced at following guides to have rooted and ROM loaded a 1st gen Kindle Fire, Samsung SII skyrocket, S4, Tab 2 7.0, Tab 3 7.0.
No replies or interest? Please help
I'm I in the wrong forum? Did I offend someone? Could really use some input, please.
Any one seen this before? If you've any experience LOSING this battle, please speak up and I'll know to just resign to now owning a pretty white Samsung brick.

if i could find the "thanks" button I'd use it.
I'm traveling now but definitely try your solution. By "redo" I presume you mean load a ROM. When I wipe I also presume I'll still have custom recovery? I should still be able to ODIN, too, if needed?
thanks again
Yes exactly recovery will not go away once you have formatted the partitions you can now flash a new customed ROM or reflash original FW using Odin..Cheers
Hey buddy wanted to know if you ever found a solution for your issue? I am in the same bind you were in. Can you help guide me. I tried installing the same files you did and to no avail. I bought a Tab 3 T210R from eBay that was stuck in boot loop, I am assuming that it isn't rooted as when I would I went into download mode, it said the firmware was official.
Hi i am using the samsung galaxy s II t989. I recently tried to put cyanogenmod on so i did the easy installation via
beta[/url] .download.cyanogenmod .org/install<--- cannot post links yet, just put the .org together
so i followed the steps and everything went thru and a screen promote read, "Your phone might boot in stock would you like to disable this. Once its done you it cannot be undone." So i clicked yes. It booted into stock mode. i tried this 2 times and still the same outcome. does anyone know the reason for this and how to fix it.

Flash custom recovery in Odin and then, after a full wipe, flash CM in recovery. I recommend TWRP from teamw.in.
Hi
my galaxy note 2 is stuck on the flashing SAMSUNG logo after recovering with TWRP, at the end of the recovery when everything is installed (data , files etc the phone gives me error message that "it seems root access lost and requests that I fix the issue. When I press enter on TWRP it reboots and gets to the Samsung logo and does not proceed. Initially I tried to flash a new ROM on the device and was no successful it was then I decided to recover to get to the previous system.
Do I have to flash the SuperUser again using Odin or is there another problem or missed something? I'm stuck and don't know how to get out of this predicament.
Your assistance in this regard will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Martin
Have you tried restoring with TWRP and, when prompted to root again, choosing no?
If you can't get out of the bootloop, you may be better off flashing back to stock with Odin and starting over.
