hello,
I'm using virtuous unity since a long time. Now since the beginning of this week, every day I switch to the calendar widget I get a screen from VU saying launching and all my widgets get refreshed and starts back on the first page. This happens just one time a day (first time I check the calendar widget). As far as I know I never experienced that before. I wiped and installed this ROM again, but no succes. Why happens this as only that widget has to refresh and not all my widgets. Is there a setting I need to check?

I've tested this on multiple ROMs including Android Revolution HD 5.x.x, i00 4.7, ViVO Sense 2.2 and the Kingdom port test - whenever I have the messages and mail widgets setup (the large, full screen ones) it seems to cause lag and the CPU usage spikes up to 100% (can see this with OSMonitor installed) but I can't tell why.
Also, Facebook for HTC Sense completely disregards and ignores the option I have chosen for syncing - I can set it to 1 hour, 3 hours or 24 hours but it will just sync either live feed, contacts or both when it feels like it (sometimes every time i unlock the screen which is tedious and probably wastes battery).
Anyone experienced this and found any fixes?
Seem to have for the most part solved the lag on LeeDroid for now with interactive governor and the smoothness fix from gtg46x. Nobody has seen this Facebook issue or resolved it in anyway?
Hi, since one of the first days with my Desire HD I've used Alarm Clock Xtreme as my primary alarm clock.
All worked fine with stock ROM (2.2), it also worked fine on CM 7 (RC1, RC2, RC3) until I reached RC4. When on CM7 RC4 or later it sometimes does not ring at all, and sometimes it only snoozes one, two, three or four times and then dies.
I tried to install a previous version of the app without any success. I also did a complete wipe before installing the CM 7 Stable version.
My problem is that when (or shall I say if) the alarm rings (set to 06:00), I snooze it, then it's supposed to ring again in 2 minutes, sometimes it just doesn't. The app itself is still running, and in the notification list it says "Alarm (snoozed); Alarm is set for 06:02." Sometimes it passes this time without ringing again.
My settings are:
2 min snooze time
maximum 5 snoozes
after 5 snoozes I have to solve 5 medium difficult math problems to dismiss.
I almost never get to the solve math problems without the app quit working properly.
Any ideas? Anyone else having similar problems? Can I some how log the events to give you a better understanding?
At last, the most irritating thins is that most of the times when I try to replicate this problem being awake it works through the whole process, including the solve math problems.
When I click on the HTC Calendar widget for a specific day to add an entry it starts at midnight, and I have to scroll down each time to at least 7am. Is there a way to default the time to 7am rather than midnight as I have no need to add anything at midnight?
Thanks.
im afraid No
The last couple of days my Calendar widget has been flashing and glitching when I try to scroll on it and today my battery went from 75% to 5% in 2 hours with no use. My Calendar widget has really been acting up the last 3 weeks but this is the first time it killed my battery. Any ideas?
Thanks
A little more info. When the calendar widget flashes it says loading in the background. I long pressed the widget and now it is gone. Hmmmmm....
Ever since the update to Android 12, the stock weather widget consistently doesn't update (I have it set to refresh every 60 minutes).....and will show a line through the location sometimes...........up in the air as to what's causing this. I've wiped data/cache and still happens. It will update if I tap the icon.
is the app set to not sleep?
not a sleeping app
I might have found the reason, I went to Settings, Apps, Weather.............in Notification categories, "Weather refresh" wasn't checked........might be the issue.
I used a different weather app and its widget stopped updating, and notifications stopped showing, after the most recent update the other day (the one following the big 12 update). I had to download a new app that was similar, but at least it works. I don't know if it is the same issue as the widget you use or not.
