Hi, yesterday I rooted my DHD and installed Revolution HD 6.3.1. Afterwards I also flashed the recommended radio 12.65.60.29_26.14.04.28_M as per the install instructions in the zip. The phone and wifi seem to work OK, but I can no longer use bluetooth. I use it mainly for connecting to my car system and an external BT-GPS, but the car system cannot find the phone for pairing and the phone cannot find the GPS unit. How can I get out of this situation? HELP PLEASE!

Hi,
maybe one of you experts would know why this happen :/
Reproduce steps:
1. Boot android 2.2, turn on the Bluetooth connectivity
2. Turn on the Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-607, it will autoconnect
3. Now without disconnecting Nokia Headset, turn off the Bluetooth on Android
4. Desire will reboot on it's own.
SW specifics like in screenshot.
exception from logcat: pastebin. com / hsinJ4Et
Do you have ideas why this happen?
BR,
Gregory
Are you using Vlingo?
See this if you are http://vlingo-en.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/747/p/180/session/L3NpZC9DSENIazVlaw==/sno/0
What ROM are you using?
No vlingo. But thanks for the hint to android bug.
I'm not sure whether my ROM is 2.2.1 on pure 2.2, but I think it's already 2.2.1.
I'm using Leedroid 2.2e with 2.6.32.27 from couttech 925mV/HAVS.
All details can be seen from screenshot I've made.
The interesting fact is normally Desire works fine with this Nokia BH-607 bluetooth kit. But when turning off the bluetooth connectivity (while Nokia is paired) then the Desire reboots on it's own :/

Gregory
Since you are rooted you may try making a nandroid and flashing another ROM - custom 2.29.405.2 from the dev section. Then do the same, see if it restarts again. If it doesn't it may be that this is fixed or it's just not working in your current ROM. After checking this, you can easily restore the nandroid to your state prior to the flashing.
Also, you may look if it reboots in safe mode.
Hey guys,
Couple months back I rooted my phone using Unrevoked, flashed the radio LeeDroid recommended and flashed LeeDroid ROM.
Now running Reflex ROM but notice that whenever I run the FM radio that is installed on the phone, all I get is static.
Could this be the radio or the fact I am not using HTC headphones? Using sport headphones as they are much comfier.
Anyone else got the same problem?
Hi,
I bought a G3 one month ago. Everything works OK except the bluetooth connection with my car's stereo.
Phone is working OK but music isn't.
I checked that both phone and music are enabled.
I tried both ART and Dalivk with the stock ROM (kitkat).
I tried to upgrade to Lollipop with no luck.
Is there something I can try to make this work ? (bluetooth driver, kernel upgrade ?)
Thx
is it stock or rooted? new rom?
Does phone work with other bluetooth devices?
Hi,
I first tried with the stock ROM, then I rooted the phone and install a more recent stock ROM (can't remember the exact version v10N maybe).
I tried both ART and Dalvik each time.
Then I moved to Lollipop stock ROM, V20A.
I don't have any other bluetooth device to test the phone, I'll try with someone else car. My grilfriend's Iphone 5 works flawlessly in the car.
I'am now back in stock ROM because I had a nasty bug with the WiFi under Lollipop, it was totally broken even after reboot/shutdown. The rom is rooted.
By the way, via USB, the music works OK if streamed from the internal storage or SD, not from deezer or spotify... Any thoughts on this ?
Thx
Anyone ?
Up
So I've did a factory reset and start flashing the "Stock Google Play Edition Rom LXR22C.H5" rom again.
Since I'm Rooted, this is the one I've flash: RUU-HTC_One_M8_GPE_5.0.1-3.11.1700.5_rooted
I've followed the instruction on #2031. Everything else work.... again only plugging in the headset into the jack, does switch music from speakers to headset.
As mentioned before I've upgrade my Stock AT&T HTC One (M8) to GPE 4.4.2 and automatically received all the updates OTA to get to 4.4.4 (Audio was working thru headset and/or speakers with no problems)
The only problem with 4.4.4 is that you don't have access to SD storage. (though I found a patch to update in the system, but haven't tried it)
I like the speed, simplicity of 5.0.1. That is why I keep on trying.
Also I tried changing the Kernel - using skydragon kernel (still same problem with audio). But when I used the kernel for 4.4.4 of GPE, the booting hung at HTC logo before it showed the dead android.
So I'm lost for option other than using an app to manual switch to headset from speaker....(bummer)
Anyway new ideas to proceed are appreciated.
In order to get rid of the AT&T bloatware that originally came with my phone, I installed Android Revolution HD 53.1. I roughly followed the guide here.
I used TWRP as the custom recovery.
Now, I can't use Wifi at all. (i.e. it is off and when I try to turn it on it just becomes grey). Someone online suggests deleting data/misc/wifi but that did not fix the issue for me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I have HBOOT-3.19, and S-ON
