[Q] Bootloop, recovery won't load and restore mod turns off

Trying to fix my daughters SGIII Sprint phone.
This morning it started going into a bootloop.
What I've tried:
1) Attempted CWM recovery by pressing (VOLUP+HOME+POWER). The screen flashing "SAMSUNG" with in small blue font in upper left "Reocery Starting..." And then the phone shuts off right away.
2) Attempted ODIN recovery by pressing (VOLDOWN+HOME+POWER). Once in download screen in ODIN I try and flash KIES_HOME_L710VPBLJ7_L710SPRBLJ7_329968_REV03_user_low_ship.tar.md5 but after a few seconds the phone just shuts off.
All in all I think if I can just get the phone to stop shutting down while in download mode I can at least flash something and this thing back up.

Okay, so I had this problem and at the end of the day I had to turn it in to Samsung for warranty purposes because the phone would automatically turn off when on and then restart the boot process and turn off again. However, I found a temporary fix, if you pull out the battery wait for a while (like an hour) and put it back in, the phone should stay on longer so you can flash through Odin. The phone will no longer turn on normally because once you start the flash with Odin the boot.img has been flashed but it's a broken flash due to the fact that the phone turned off in the process.
Here are simple steps:
Take out the battery and leave it out for an hour or so (longer won't hurt)
Get the USB plug and make sure it's in the computer and Odin is started with the correct tar file already selected so that you can flash it quicker
Put the battery back in and start the phone in download mode
Connect the phone and just let it sit for a couple second to make sure it stays on
If it does stay on for more than 15-20 seconds then you can begin the flashing process
If it turns off while in download mode you can take out the battery and put it back in (you don't need to wait)
It's really all just a matter of patience because eventually, the phone should turn on for long enough
Once flashed, the phone should work for a while
So after following that process, I got the phone to work for about 2 months but the issue reoccurred. I was eventually able to flash the stock rom but the problem persisted. So I called in to Samsung to turn it in for the warranty. So far, they have "Replaced a component" in my phone. I SHOULD have it back by Monday. :fingers-crossed:
Thanks, for the response. Battery is out now so I'll try later this evening after it sits for awhile.
I hope it works for you. Just as an update, Samsung has fixed the problem and my phone has shipped as of today! So I guess it's an error on their part.
No luck yet.. Going to leave battery out overnight and try again in morning.

Cant turn the screen on and stuck after screen off

My One X works properly for close to 2 years but last 2 weeks my phone start to have strange problem. It will randomly reboot and stuck at boot up or sometimes after screen off I cant wake it until I hard reset it by holding power button. And a lot of time it will just stuck during boot up with HTC logo and cant go into OS. I tried to return to stock by flashing nandroid backup, even reflash the hboot but the problem still there. I tried connect the phone with my pc and I can hear the usb unplug sound from pc after the screen off for some time. However, it is not stuck in sleep everytime, but often. Anyone have any idea what was wrong?

Locked up - stuck in boot cycle

bit of emergency help please! Phone completely vanilla as it came out of the box two years ago., has all the latest updates applied. Last week as I'd run of App space I allowed the SD to become internal storage option but nothing else strange. Today I was having problems connecting to my Sat Nav so I restarted the phone, 10 minutes later I noticed it was stock on the HTC screen so I Volume Up + Power button restarted and now I'm stuck in this screen, nothing I do can get me to boot - any ideas please?
I've tried the factory reset option under HBOOT but it just returns me here
Ignore the below, just unplugged it and restarted it and its locked again!
after 20 attempts I plugged it into PC and its booted, totally wiped clean but it appears to be working. Got an S7 Edge arriving next week so I thinks its just the M8 getting jealous.

Soft-Bricked M9

I've had an M9 for 2-3. After the first year I got my phone, I installed a custom recovery and rooted it but later uninstalled root and custom recovery. It has been fine ever since except recently. Last month, my phone randomly crashed for the first time and got stuck in the infinite bootloop. It was as if everytime it tries to boot up, it crashed during it. If I hit the power, vol up, and vol down button, I make it to the screen with the option to go into recovery, download, etc. But when I actually try to go into either bootloader, recovery, or download mode from that menu, it crashes and goes back to the white htc logo. I've have gotten the phone to bootup a couple times by leaving it in the freezer as it tries to boot up but after using it for 1-5 minutes, it crashes again. If I don't use the phone at all, then it usually wont crash. After a day or 2, the phone fixed itself. Then one morning, my notifications got stuck together and my screen became unresponsive. So I took my death sentence and restarted my phone and now my phone has been doing the same exact thing for a week. I don't know how to fix this problem because getting it crashes trying to go into recovery and trying to do a factory reset is risky since it could crash during the reset. If also manage to make it into safe mode thinking maybe an application or virus is causing this but the phone crashed in SAFE MODE so I don't know what the problem is. I doubt there is any saving this phone because is probably a hard ware problem but who knows. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you.
Flash back to stock. Stock firmware fixes all sorts of issues.

HTC M9 Stuck on Bootload After Battery Dropping to 0 Fix/Work Around

Hi all,
My phone is rooted (still S-ON)(TWRP installed) and running viper's ROM. Last night I forgot to charge the phone when I got home, when I looked it was 1% and shut off. I plugged in the phone and foolishly tried to reboot right away instead of waiting a good ten minutes. Well the phone never got out of the HTC logo screen. I would hold down the power and it would vibrate twice, no clue what that mean't. Anyways I waited for at least 10 minutes to give the battery a chance to chare and see if it rebooted but it didn't. Finally I was able to get into recovery doing the following. Hold down the volume up and power button till the phone reboots (screen will be black) Then quickly hold volume down and power until you see the HTC logo on the black background. Then you should have the options to boot into recovery and into twrp. I had to do a data wipe as something in the OS got hosed. I lost all apps and SMS but at least I was able to boot back into the phone. Hope that helps some out there.
I have encountered this same issue on 2 phones but couldn't recover either without reflashing a stock firmware.
