Coming from Desire HD to Galaxy Nexus, I were missing that music experience and equalizer ( Dolby & SRS ). But now every thing is fixed thanks to that Awesome developer who ported beats from HTC phones. Just flashed the updated beats file and I found lots of different in bass and also improved volume. Works even with Samsung headphones..

I might add that by distributing random files and libs you're violating several manufacturers copyrights and intellectual property.

I have bought new galaxy nexus today !
I find out, it have no led night when changing !
it is normal ?
the led night when will be function on phone? i..e. message coming or got missing call on the phone
As stock, the LED is very limited (mostly to sms and gtalk and possibly a couple others).
You need an additional app for full control, such as Light Flow.
It doesn't come on while charging by default. As adrynalyne said, its very limited by default, and will only do things like light up for SMS/MMS/Email.
Use Light Flow and configure it to your liking.
Glad to see I was not the only one that had this question. Thank the webmaster for the search box.. LOL
I am going to check that app out the moment i go on break.. I want to be able to adjust the color for different contacts so i know who is calling or txting.. hope this will do that..

My co worked who used to have an ET4G and now has a Galaxy Nexus stumbled upon this MOD. Knowing how must of us running any jb ROM have low headphones/aux issues I thought I could post this to try and help.
There is a tiny problem though.... I flashed this last night. I successfully booted my phone but once everything loaded my phone froze up and just powered cycled. I tryied flashing it with different gapps combinations and different jb ROMs. So with that said... do any of you devs or anyone that want to try to modify this MOD for our phones?? Maybe it will bring a solution this this bug?
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to try this and provide some input

Might be a kernel thing? Who knows.
Glad to know I wasn't the only one with the audio problem but from my short testing in my car it seemed to only be music related, I'm using double twist. When I got a text message the ringtone was alot louder than the music itself and the volume setting on that was only around half as loud. Things use to be the other way around on ICS. Like someone else posted hopefully there can be a fix soon because I'm loving JB.
I tried this mod on my Nexus 7 and I didnt notice a difference

The latest cm10 Nightlies fixed all of the sound problems
Sent from my E4GT by using THE FORCE
From what I can tell from my testing on the E4GT, your headphone and bluetooth volumes are tied to the speaker media volume originally. I haven't seen it in any other builds of CM10, but it seems fairly common in the E4gT's roms.
Where are the nightly builds posted? I don't see it on thier official site

Hello everybody
Some of you might noticed that the volume in some apps (youtube, navigon...) or even media (mp3) is quite low.
This issue is fixed in many roms like cm, xylon and so on.
I want to know if there is any possibility to increase the volume output on 4.2.1 stock, without having root.
thx
Yeah I would like to know too. My iPod touch is a whole lot louder! What gives Google?
Would love to know this too. In fact, the low volume makes me miss quite a few calls and messages during the day when I'm not in the same room as my phone. Also when I show someone a YouTube video the audio is sometimes near impossible to hear on the speaker. Would love to stick with the stock ROM so I hope there is an easy fix.

Make sure you installed the V6beta2 if you are on 4.2 or 4.2.1. There are two different ones. One is for 4.1.2 which I think the latest build is called "V5Omega" it's in the 1st post and the other is for 4.2 and 4.2.1 which the latest build is called "V6beta2" and that's his 3rd post. Wait.. if u have an lte gnex, this could be your issue since the sprint and verison versions get 3rd party ports of the i9250 version.
Anyways, I use miui and, while there is some interface lag compared with aosp, its still a great ROM. Aosp is hideous IMHO, especially since 4.2 came out.

Noup. Im using the OFFICIAL for Gnex MAGURO, build by Xiaomi (The one found HERE). Im flashing 3.1.11, which is the latest according to that site. Using TWRP to flash. Might been a bad download, if you insist that its working fine for you, but i did a little research, and some people were complaining about the same bug, so i thought that it was the rom, not me.
EDIT: Just checked, and i highly doubt its a bad download because MD5 matchs with the one posted on the site.

Ok, got MIUI to work. Seems like its not a good idea to flash the ROM and GAPPs on the same go. I had to flash rom, boot the phone, set it up, go to recovery again, and flash gapps, after that, everything seems to be working fine. Even the browser. Seems like that was the key.
