Hi Guys,
i tried to install some GPS apps on my wildfire which I need at the moment. But market says, that they're incompatible to my phone!? But some time ago I have already installed them.
But I think they are all compatible, aren't they?

I am using sygic mobile maps
10 and it is working like a charm!Only igo is incompatible with our device resolution but you can find a resized version.Also navigon and copilot work very good! Market isbt always right!

Yes I know that. I have installed for example Facebook, when i want to go to this app in market on my wildfire it does not work because this app needs GPS to locate you..
What should I do? Should i try another market version?
Which market do you have? I think that with one version of market it was a bug with search results. I have facebook on my phone and i never had any problems.When asks to locate i say no and it is still working. Try using the latest version or downgrade to an earlier version and see if that solves your problem. Btw i didnt installed Sygic via the market. I transfered it from my pc.
No problem with google Maps
The Wildfire has a GPS locator, so there should be nothing wrong with that. I used to have Facebook and everything worked fine so I think the problem is in apps not available for your country.
If you click on the + button below where it says it is incompatible, what does it say?

Ok, update to Market 3.4.4. Everything works fine. Problem solved. The old market was so smooth ;(
Many of the gps apps are compatible with htc wf but the only problem with some of the software is that they lagg at times .. i have recently posted about the offline gps maps .. hope it helps ...

Not for me. As mentioned in another thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=688634) it suffers from an audio problem in that the announcements sometimes stop at 'after...'
I only found one version that works (v7.917 (9186)) without using the audio fix.
and does that audio fix work for that ? If so, I don't see the problem

OK JBS38, i think i understand.
Now i'm using QVGA 7.916 and it works except TomtomHome2 !
I have tried VGA and QVGA 7.918 and i had problem with this two versions.
I'll have to test the VGA 7.916 to see if it's better than QVGA 7.916 .
Ok, but i don't use mapshare...
I have try many things that TTHome are reconignize my HD mini, but no way for me !..
If someone find a solution to connect our Mini with TTHome... Please, share it !!!
Maybe the TomtomHome2 problem has something to do with navigator version.
If the last version 7.918 doesn't work, it should mean something!

I have tested OK 7.917 .9186 version but TomtomHome 2.8 is still unable to detect any equipment !
I have looked for soltions on internet but ... nothing for HDmini at that moment.
I used the program wifi file transfer pro for a whole year i think,and now,i flashed rempuzzlerom v2.40 and it's not working,the program itself works,but when i type the adress in pc browser,it is said that the browser cannot find the adress :/ i tried another program like this and it have the same problem can someone help me?

I solved the issue by changing the Kernel.

I'm afraid not as I have never used the RemPuzzle Rom - I would suggest putting a post in the ROM thread or trying one of the many Kernels listed under 'Add Ons' in the link below...

i flashed the kernel InfinityPLAY and it worked yaay! i tried 2 other programs and they work too)

damn,not working well,everything works well besides the wifi,it worked well bu then the wifi networks as the connection dissapeared does anybody know a good kernel for sense based roms?
Have you tried the Stock Kernel?
Nope( i wanted but even in rempuzzle's thread it is written that the stock kernel can reduce the speed/performance of the Rom.

I installed the last cyanogenmod ( update-cm-7.2.0-02242012-KANG.zip ), than installed galaxy gio google apps ( 121111_gio_googleapps.zip ) throught recovery.
All google apps appeared in menu except market.
But in Application it says that marked is installed,however it have... different colour name ._.

well I experienced different problem, when I was trying to access the market, I stucked in the case that the market warned me to insert the new account...
now i cant access the market
because when i was trying to set the account... i dont get it to make it through
I wonder why?

Why is temple run not supported by i9001 and i9000??
Its really frustrating that we can't run it on our devices!!
Even when I downloaded it from an external source..the game seemed very laggy!!

I found it..but the problem is that its not supported on my device only I suppose!!
Weird, I am running it just fine on my i9000 with Team ICSSGS RC4.2 rom and I downloaded it from the Play store..

Well, it seems compatible.
It could be your ICS version, you need to download market enabler.
Improve performance by using chainfire
if you have a rooted phone install chainfire and Reduce texture size ... It will be smoother..
it will reduce a bit of graphics.. u will hardly feel a difference though..

It's runnin perfectly in my phone. If you can't download the game from play store, this results from your country.But you tried to download another app site but it did't run correctly. Maybe this situation arises from your current Rom, so you can try to install a new rom and you can download the game again.
I have installed cm10 stable version with cm10 stock kernel. But i faced many wakelocks. Phone never goes deep sleep.
Gtalk service makes much. I log out from gtalk but service still there and makes wakelocks. I removed its apk from system but same result.
Anyone facing same thing?

yes i know. but 10.1 drains battery very quick. and some bugs.

No it doesn't! Mine behaves in exactly the same way as CM 10 did
yesterday, i make a clean install cm10.1
after startup wizard etc, i open google play and selected "my apps"
i started to install one by one
but some apps after, i live first SOD
with stock kernel
i flashed 121212 gapps package
Strange, never had that happen to me but I'm using Franco's kernel and have been set up for months now!
It sounds like an app issue regarding the wakelocks, I'd remove everything and then add apps one at a time until you find the issue

Open the GAPPs package and delete it before flashing
yes i did. but service still working without apk.
Probably part of Android, Google it and see what you can find
