New Streaming Video SW on JasJar by HTC...How to get it?

Hi all,
it seems that on latest version of HTC Universal is pre-installed a streaming video SW that can read video streaming also in Real format. How to get it???

No, the streaming video application came with the latest T-Mobile ROM. I would like to install this app myself to my Universal running Jwright's Modified ROM. Any way anyone have the files already?

You can watch Real format since PPC Real Player doesn't work properly on WM 2005 expecially in landscape mode.

can't get it to work, it installs but when I want to open the app it complains it's either not signed bla bla.
I know I had this app indeed with a Tmobile ROM.
How can I get it to work on another ROM?
any idea?

Do you mean the 3rd post? I tried that with no effect on my Universal. I don't know what that file does. I also did a soft reset after install, and nothing showed up.

wel, that is also the file I used but the prog won't start, I'm getting an error.
apparently nobody uses it or we would have more reactions to this post

Need to go back to ppc 2003.. help please!

I just installed windows mobile 2003SE on my xda2 replacing 2003, i had lost com ports 4 and 5 and didnt know how to get them back.
That worked great until i flashed the Ext Rom with my own medley of software. I am now getting messages saying that the sofware i am installing was written for an earlier version (2003) and may not work. Pda then locks up until i do a soft reset then starts without my stuff.
Cut a long story short i want to reinstall factory version of windows mobile 2003... Anyone know a good link to download it?
P.S Tried o2 website but no luck

OK..... So all copies of wm2003 has been banished to hell !!!
Next plan !.. I have another xda2 with wm2003 installed... all i have to do is get a copy from it and install it back on my other xda2!!

Is this file self loading or do i need some other software... cheers!
NOTE: That file has just come through corrupt... going to try again !

Its self loading after connecting device via activesync but its a much older rom - trying to put my hands on your rom.

It looks like the 1.72 was an upgrade to an older rom

You could run the rom 1.31.139 and then the 1.72 update

DASH Home screen
My DASH always reverts back to the default home screen.
I have PHMRegEdit loaded on the DASH. Does anyone know how to edit the registry so that I can select a home screen and when I reboot it stays that way?

what's the music plugin?

Hello,
I downloaded your music plugin and copied it to my device (HTC S621), but it´s not working...
It complains it cant find the musicplayergridview (or one of it´s components...).
I´d be very gratefull you (or anyone ) could post the files required for the plugin to run.
BTW, i´m running wm6, from factory (got the device 1 month ago from my operator - Brasilian VIVO).

I poked around a little bit more I found the files in this other thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1316697#post1316697
I installed the .cab in to my device and now I have the window$ media player plugin working on my S621´s home screen!

Im having a problem cooking Notification Enhancement, the problem is tht Notification Enhancement is running gr8 but i cant see this

when i click on the TopBar, rest i can see the Status Screen and see the Enlarged Notification, just cant see this can anybody tell wht the problem might be?? thnx!

hello my friend,
i checked the dependency of the notificaitons file. you need htcscroll 1 for wm6.1 2 for wm6.5 roms. also check if this files you can see on screen are present in your rom
its known it has to be a sysbuilt 21xxx <--- to get them properly working.

I did not use HTCScroll and have problems with Not's Enh't but now I don't know if this must be normal.

[Q] All GPS apps not compatible with wildfire!?

Hi Guys,
i tried to install some GPS apps on my wildfire which I need at the moment. But market says, that they're incompatible to my phone!? But some time ago I have already installed them.
But I think they are all compatible, aren't they?

I am using sygic mobile maps
10 and it is working like a charm!Only igo is incompatible with our device resolution but you can find a resized version.Also navigon and copilot work very good! Market isbt always right!

Yes I know that. I have installed for example Facebook, when i want to go to this app in market on my wildfire it does not work because this app needs GPS to locate you..
What should I do? Should i try another market version?

Which market do you have? I think that with one version of market it was a bug with search results. I have facebook on my phone and i never had any problems.When asks to locate i say no and it is still working. Try using the latest version or downgrade to an earlier version and see if that solves your problem. Btw i didnt installed Sygic via the market. I transfered it from my pc.

No problem with google Maps

The Wildfire has a GPS locator, so there should be nothing wrong with that. I used to have Facebook and everything worked fine so I think the problem is in apps not available for your country.
If you click on the + button below where it says it is incompatible, what does it say?

Ok, update to Market 3.4.4. Everything works fine. Problem solved. The old market was so smooth ;(

Many of the gps apps are compatible with htc wf but the only problem with some of the software is that they lagg at times .. i have recently posted about the offline gps maps .. hope it helps ...
