Hi every one
i have problem here. the time for send and receive sms is not correct!! i tried to use both handcent and default htc message app but i get the same issue!!!
anybody has a solution? i tried to change it from setting but it is still the same!!!
Did anyone encountered SMS issue with above mentioned ROM? I noticed some SMS that I Send didn't go through even thought message status mark as Sent. Also for receiving SMS it only shown up in in box after I reboot the phone.
Other than that great ROM so far.
Recently installed the Android Revolution HD 5.1.2 Rom and everything went well except for one thing - I can't send text messages - I can receive them but when I go to send one my signal disappears (little 'x' next to it) and the message is not sent. Like I said I can receive texts and use the Internet and everything else??
I'm using a HTC Desire HD on the GiffGaff network. I've used the GiffGaff app for the APN settings and also installed the APN settings manually but with no joy.
Any help would be appreciated

I'm not too sure why sending an SMS would cause your phone to loose signal completely, are you using the stock messaging application or a third party one?
The only thing I can think to suggest is to check that the Service Center number is correct in Messages > Settings > Text Messages (SMS).
Hope this helps
Thanks for the reply ashleyayling
It happens on the stock application. Also when I receive a message it drops out as well. All my named contacts turn to numbers for about 5 seconds and then when the signal kicks back in they turn to names again

That does indeed seem a very strange bug. Did you perform a Full Wipe before installing Android Revolution HD 5.1.2?
Can I ask if you flashed the reccomended radio with this ROM, or have since updated it to 5.1.3 (not sure if it may be fixed in the new version / custom kernal).
Also, have you flashed the HTC Sense 3.0 SMS application?
I have flashed the recommended radio - not updated to 5.1.3
Performed a full wipe beforehand
Haven't flashed the HTC Sense 3.0 SMS application as I did the Android Revolution no-sense option (can I flash this?)
Are your APN settings configured correctly?
Setting are correct, checked and double checked
I have been running ModVersion CyanogenMOD - 7.0.3.1 - Supersonic Kernel Version:2.6.37.4-Cyanogenmod for over a month and just yesterday I began having a problem recieving text messages.
I have had no problem sending messages and I have confirmed that they have been sent successfully to others. I am having problems receiving text messages from specific contacts. This issue began less than 24 hours ago and I have not changed any software or settings on the phone.
I was able to receive a picture message from one contact that isn't able to send me text messages. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
Thanks in advanced!
HTC Desire HD - Cyanogenmod 7.1.0 - Orange
When I receive a new SMS message the notification comes through fine, however in the stock message app (also using GOSMS which provides the same result) the new messages are not highlighted.
With a single message this isn't a problem given that I can click the notification, however with multiple messages, it means siphoning though recent messages to try and track down the new one.
Any idea why this is happening, or how to fix it?
