[Q] SMS bug issue

Hi,
Im having a bug issue with my stock SMS application.
Sometimes, when I send an SMS to Mr. A, the message goes to Mr. B.
Quite often that when I get a new SMS, when I tap on the SMS app to go to all the message conversations, then tap on the threaded message which has the new message, but it switches to a different recipient.
Anyone here experiencing the same issue?
Any advice?

stupid Android SMS Bug
it's finally happened.
Yesterday, I sent quite a sexual content text message to my girlfriend, BUT my employee received it.
The text I sent to my girlfriend showed up on the conversation between me & my gf, but she did not received it. However my employee received it.
How freaking annoying.
I have contacted HTC & am waiting for the answer. I bet you that the answer is: please hard reset your phone.

It's a known bug. I don't know if its solved if you flash a custom rom. Maybe try a different sms app?

[Q] Cannot Recieve text messages from specific contacts

I have been running ModVersion CyanogenMOD - 7.0.3.1 - Supersonic Kernel Version:2.6.37.4-Cyanogenmod for over a month and just yesterday I began having a problem recieving text messages.
I have had no problem sending messages and I have confirmed that they have been sent successfully to others. I am having problems receiving text messages from specific contacts. This issue began less than 24 hours ago and I have not changed any software or settings on the phone.
I was able to receive a picture message from one contact that isn't able to send me text messages. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

[Q] Not receiving SMS message notifications for new messages

Hi all,
My phone has stopped notifying me when new SMS messages are received. I am runnning android revolution HD (latest version). The problem has been present for a few months and over a number of different AR HD roms and I have been using Go SMS as a fix in the meantime.
I have all the correct options selected in the messages settings menu and I have tried restarting the phone but nothing seems to help.
Do any of you have a fix for this?

Problem receiving text messages

Im on a custom rom (IceColdJelly), and recently i have been having troubles where my phone does not receive all text messages. I have used ICJ for 1½ month, different versions from 1.5 to 2.0 (latest is 2.1, didnt upgrade yet). The problem with text messages was spotted about a week ago, and i dont believe i have had it before...
My question is simply - could this be a rom issue purely? I use Go SMS pro, but have the default SMS app enabled too, and none of them receives the text messages). About 30% of my messages disappears.. I know i can just wipe the phone and flash latest ICJ, but i would like som input on the ROM vs hardware thingy first.

[Q] CM10.1 [RC8.1] SMS Counter

I instaled RC8.1 few days ago and I for me everything works perfect but i notice that when typing long SMS messages instead of merging them in 2/3/.../6 sms messages it makes it a MMS after 160 characters. I looked in settings for a solution but i couldn't find it, is there any way to change that or I will have to separate messages manualy?

Also some times it just keep "sending" message.

with this release my phone sometimes don't receive all the messages......someone else have this problem?

I think I received all messages, but some of them wouldn't send it just say sending and leave it that way...

As far as I remember, since first release of CM10.1 long messages are converted to MMS by default, and there's no option to change it to multiple SMS

See in mms settings. Or just install other sms app (slide messaging shoud do the trick) and change there. This will fix the problem.
