Hi all,
I just found a ROM based on ICS, GalnetMIUI and tried to port it with JasonStein Porting Software but got a bootloop.
Since it is based on ICS, would any of the kernels of Jsaon or DOomlord work with this ROM? Or do I have to wait for an ICS kernel release?
Thanks for your input guys,

Hi,
is there any non-CM10 based JB ROM around? Even though I quite like CM I think a pure AOSP-style JB would also be nice for Arc/S users.
How comes all (?) JB-ROM are CM based? If you wanted to start from scratch with AOSP code, what is it that you might be missing and take that from CM10? What is it you had to develop yourself?
Thanks, Stevo
Sony haven't released a JB Rom for any of their devices nor there are any sources yet so all we hav is the CM source to work on

Hi There,
maybe this is a funny question, but still I wish to ask it.
Is there a stock based kernel that would support a CM-10 rom ?
Nope AOSP based kernels support CM, Stock based ROMs support Stock based ROMs. Simple as that most kernel threads will specify that anyway

Nope. Unless Sony releases an official jb rom with jb kernel for us to play around with. Stock for stock based, cm based kernel for aokp and other cm based roms.

Is there actually any properly working and stable ICS Rom?
Hi guys!
I haven't been for a while in XDA and i missed a lot. My old modified well running 4.0.4 crashed and i have no intention to fix it. I've decided to install CM10.2 based rom.
My problem is that i haven't decided what kernel to install. Can you recommend me good running 3.4 based kernel (720p support is a must).
Thanks in advance!
Regards
CM10.2 with 3.4 kernel and 720p, probably none.
CM11 with 3.4 kernel, 720p and then some... well, visit the threads for the CM11 versions of LegacyXperia, CarbonROM, and PAC-ROM to name some.\
start by going to the Xperia Arc Development forums.
