With some apps, like asphalt 6,you have to download a large package. The only problem with this is that it only allows it via wifi...even if you have 4g. My home wifi is terrible, under 5 mbps, and I have a lte nexus and we know how the speeds are on there .
Any way to spoof it to allowing me to dl using my lte data?

With game loft games you used to be able to just turn wifi on and even if it wasn't connected it would download over cellular data.. try it it might still work

Yes the iPhone had a spoof like this back when I had it. Some Apps won't let you download things over data which sucks. Amazon Appstore is one of them.

I guess it depends on the game because I downloaded a whole half a gig of gt+ HD over my mobile network without Wi-Fi being active. It asked a few times if I'm sure but it did work (fully unlimited mobile internet ftw). I also downloaded gta3 over mobile with no issues.

is there any app that can make gameloft games to think you on wifi instead i rather use my 3G OR 4G speeds
Not sure you need to, depending on what you want to do. When I first opened asphalt5 way back when, I was able to download over 4g despite their claim that I should be on wi-fi. Not sure if this is what your referring to though.

No I'm talking about playing gameloft games online with out using wifi. Is it possible that I can play against other people online just by using my 3g or 4g data instead. I have the game n.o.v.a orbit an if you want to play other players online you have to connect to wifi you get what I'm saying now is this possible to trick these gameloft games to make it seem you on wifi to play other players online

What I do is I just enable my wifi antenna even without a connection; this always work for me over 3g.

Oh really let me try that out I have wifi at my house but I like to play when I'm in class in night school online against real people I never play the game only against real people

Anyone else's YouTube app load really really slow? I get 25mb down with Comcast and it will only load like 45 seconds of a video, stop and then load some more and then stop again. My One X loaded videos right away, is this just me or is this known?

In every ROM i have tried on all my devices the YouTube kinda sucks. My only fix is not really a fix but it works for me.. I just set the bookmark of the mobile site and give it a cool little widget and act like its the app.. Works like a charm lol.

Feels like YouTube allocates less bandwidth to the app access
I know its old but I have this problem too. Anyone knows the solution?

Well here is the thing only on WiFi is the video load time really slow. While I am on "4G" the video loads fine and quick. I know its not my wireless router because I went out bought a brand new wireless N router from best buy just to test and its not equipment. ( return the router after )
Can anyone confirm that it is the case?

Guys, it isnt your router, your modem or your internet. I had to play youtube videos on my PC at 240 p and still wont load... and i have a great internet connection speed. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens. You're not alone.

Check your DNS server on the router. Use Google's DNS server internet is faster. YouTube is faster on my computer than phone sometimes

Hello i have a sprint galaxy s III and i was wondering if anyone has had success tethering a sprint phone to the nexus 7? My phone is not rooted, i would like to keep it that way if at all possible. I use FoxFi and PDA Net and it does connect to my Nexus 7, but for internet only. Google play will not update apps, facebook will not work, Netflix won't work, ect. I tried open garden, FoxFi (by itself), PDA Net (by itself) and nothing else connects. What is everyone else using??? Thanks in advanced!
Well I`m using foxfi and it works very well for me. I`m living in uk.

I tried out foxfi today for the first time. It seems pretty good, but I would like to here others suggestions as well.

That doesn't really answer the OP's post though. FoxFi doesn't look like a real internet connection to all apps though. Is there another app that does any better?

If I understand this right your wanting to connect your N7 to the internet via your G3, if so cannot you just use the mobile access point on the phone, i have the galaxy s and my sister has the S2, both have this options in the settings and once set up and turned on acts just like a wireless router, select it and enter the password on your N7 and your away.. works well on mine

The same on my S3 Nexus Combo, great having unlimited data and unlimited tethering data

I've never tried it, but how about PDAnet?
Foxfi Wifi Hotspot no longer works on my nonrooted Droid Bionic. I can only tether via blueetooth, which doesn't allow all of my apps to work correctly. Does anyone know of a Foxfi alternative?
My Foxfi works fine on droid x to my nexus 7. I don't know what you're talking about not a real connection....
Check it out though, foxfi is definitely awesome.

Having a weird issue. Torrents are downloading extremely slow when not on wifi. Tried different apps, torrents, internal/external storage, HSPA/LTE.... I think it was working at the beginning but now, When i download on LTE or HSPA I get like 10-30 kBps and I have no idea why... Didn't have this issue with my note 2... Anyone else having this issue....

What torrent app do you use? Or do you tether it to your PC and use bittorrent on your pc side?
I have the same frustrating issue. I can't even load you tube videos or Google Music right half the time. It loads a percentage and gets stuck unless on wifi. I toggled to regular 4G and baam! Loads like it should

i know there is a legal side to torrents...but this discussion is not allowed here in relation to pirating/etc
Can someone please confirm that the unrestricted tethering is functional on the Wicked v1 KitKat Rom. Im currently running his v5 rom and I have tethering working, but its still restricted and I use it for my Ps3. I would like to know if anyone can confirm tethering is unrestricted, and able to use it on Ps3, Ps4, or Xbox because it took me while to set and get working tethering on v5 and really wanna upgrade to KitKat cause I have it on my S4 and it grew on me, but before I upgrade my Note 3, I wanna confirm a good tether setting, because as of right now, my note 3 is phone of daily choice because I love Wicked Roms.........(Big Fan:thumbup.

Did you have to change any settings or what, 3rd party apps, etc., cause ive been at this trying to figure out where im going wrong, and im swamped in agony behind this. I need someone to walk me thru the process step by step.

Thanks for the intell, but I need it confirmed working for Ps3, ps4, or Xbox. Im a gamer, and with my note 3, I get a connection of 10.5 mbs and up, on Wicked 4.3. If confirmed, step by step process would really be appreciated.

Usage like that only forces the carriers hands, causing them to eventually raise cost, I have a home Internet provider for "unlimited" data but 30gb on a cellphone rate plan is excessive
