Koni Elite theme for cm7

I love the Elite HD themes. Is there one that would work with the cm7?

sadly, I doubt it, since his roms are sense based. and I would guess that most cm7 themers don't use sense roms, none of them are going to be much interested...
might be wrong though.

Most popular Dinc ROMs/Themes?

I have a Samsung Fascinate, but a friend of mine just rooted his Dinc. I've glanced around these forums, seen a little, but your theme section is a bit cluttered... what are the popular ROMs and Themes for this phone?

As for ROMs, I recommend the "Uber" series of ROMs, as well as CM7 or MIUI. Of course, just because I'm partial to the Uber ROMs doesn't mean there aren't other ROMs out there, look around until your friend finds one he likes

Is Uber around stock? (Fasc has Touchwiz and superclean; what is it for you, Sense?) I know of CM7, and he would reeeeeally hate MIUI.

Uber Gingersense 2.1/3.0 is around stock, but with improvements. some issues due to beta stages but coming along nicely. Sense is stock for us, yes

It all depends and what he is looking for there are froyo, Z Roms stable roms and Gingerbread/ Sense 3.0 roms that are still in beta and some apps like maps and youtube dont work...

As far as debloated stock rom goes. We have a great one by jaykresge

It has some mods, but I haven't seen any recent themes for Sense 1.0 that ships with the Inc.

Aside from CM7 (I'm jealous on how well yours works, btw), what's your most themed ROM? Just to give him colorful options.

As far as sense ROM's go, any of the new ROM's based on Sense 2.1 should be able to use skins. I've used these on some of the new gingersense roms with 2.1/3.0 hybrids. Works just fine.

TBH, I think MIUI with LauncherPro or GO Launcher EX (both free in the Market, LauncherPro Plus is I think $5) is the most skinnable. There are LOADS of MIUI themes, and it can use all the AOSP kernels and it's rock solid stable to boot

Look up the theme "honeycream" its in the market and it works with cm7's built in theme chooser, its a great looking theme and i highly suggest it.

As for a blue style honeycomb theme, this one is pretty good, not to brag of course XD

Looks like he wants to wait for the 2.3 update... you guys got any themes for stock? (Sorry to ask. Fasc, someone put a list together, it's muuuuuch easier.)

A question from a newbie

Hey all, could anyone help me out here, got my S2 two weeks ago and have been playing around with it ever since, it's rooted and all and I've tried CM7 which I thought was really cool but I decided to stick with something a little closer to stock since I kinda liked tw, so I'm now running VillainROM 3.0, the question is what themes are compatible with this rom? I don't really know what I should be looking for,I've tried searching but didnt find anything clear. My phone as it stands is running:
Droid ver 2.3.5
Baseband XXKI1
Kernel Ninphetamine 2.0.5
Build VillainROM 3.0.

Just have a search through the forum you posted in, there's quite a few compatible with villain.

Searching for Villain in Themes and Apps didnt show many results, and I still dont know what I should be looking for to see if the theme is compatible with VillainROM, are themes usually built for a specific rom or do they usually work on different ones?
I'll give Clear Glass a try

If it doesn't day in the title have a look inside a thread and it should say in the OP. There I'd also a couple of universal themes around that should work on any tw based rom.

Now I think I'm starting to get it, even though it says my phone is KI1, seeing as VR3 is based off KI3 I can install any KI3 theme right? I just tested Vertmus' ICS Domination and everything seems to be working fine...

[Theme Request] AOSP for EL26

I see a lot of ICS themes and they are awesome man. But I do miss the ole AOSP GB look and feel. I have tried my best to make my own but honestly I don't have the time I wish I did to dedicate to it right now. If anyone feels up to it and wants to make one that would work with the latest ROMs I would be ever grateful.
Pretty much what I would like to see is a Vanilla GB style Theme. But anything AOSPish would be awesome. Thanks in advance to anyone that considers this.

Appreciate the suggestions. I'm not ready to sacrifice functionality for true AOSP yet on this phone. I have the aosp launcher running on Calks and have modded most of the apks to have the aosp icons. What I'm looking for is like a aosp dialer and true aosp mms.apks and such. Once CM9 is released I will go towards true aosp roms. But not until. I did the whole aosp flashfest on my GS1 and not ready to do that yet. Plus the CM7 build you speak of wiped my SD card twice soso it still has some little bugs.

Yeah I was hoping that ROM would get updated and it did. I was so Happy to see it. Running it right now with a few personal Mods and loving it. Also I have never messed with sprint ID so not sure what that is. I will have to look into it.

How do you prefer your roms?

Do you like them odex or deodex? Do you like them themed or stocked. Me personally I prefer my rom to be deodex and unthemed. What do you like? Love to hear your opinions and why.

I use one of two roms. I have my own version of touchwiz that is extremely thined out. I dont like a lot of the touchwiz stuff, so I removed most of it, and I use inverted aosp email and mms. I dont like green, so its themed, but I used the stock icons for the most part, just changed the colors in photoshop.
I am also a big fan of AOKP, so I always have the latest version of it somewhere on my phone. I keep it stock looking for the most part, just use inverted apps (contacts, email, mms, market, search, youtube, calendar, etc.).

I don't know/care much about odexed or deodexed roms. But I like to keep it unthemed. Plain, simple and not too flashy.

to ODEX or not to ODEX
Hello All...
I have not noticed a significant difference between odex and de-odex when running unthemed ROMS.
Perhaps I'm just easily distracted, but I just don't see a big difference in boot times (the main area where you would notice speed differences).
So really, it's about theming to me...and I have to say, I haven't seen a lot of custom themes that really GRAB me. lol. Many of them are neat and have good ideas, but there is usually something that just doesn't work for me...something gets messed up or is hard to read etc..so I am pretty unthemed.

I prefer plain aosp ROMs, currently using Codename Android..but, when on a TW ROM odex or deodex doesn't matter much to me. Themes are nice, but the mix between unthemed and themed icons drives me silly. That's why I hardly ever use a theme.

Im not really a fan if themed roms... the last one I used like that was.... Virus Rom Eternity. That was an amazing rom to.. But that was on my Evo 3D. I just prefer plain asop or stock rooted roms now for some reason..
