See the evidence in my signature.

It's absolutely possible if you do it correctly.. as ace is armv6 only

i am currently an owner of one samsung galaxy s plus i9001 and i was thinking about switching it for an xperia arc . so i have a question for the owners of the device: if it is worth it ?
my device is having 3.4 kernel under development , a fully working cm10 and a semi functional cm 10.1 .

Galaxy S and Arc S are almost similar in terms of performance. The only difference is that there is no official ICS for Galaxy S as Samsung did not include Galaxy S in the ICS Upgrade.

i'm reffering to Arc , not arc s .

The only difference between Arc and Arc S is just the processor. Otherwise both phones are almost the same.

If you can, go for something better.

Why do you want to move from one single-core, 512-MB RAM-equipped phone, to another single-core, 512-MB RAM-equipped phone? If you really want to make a move from your Galaxy S Plus, get a phone with better hardware specs.
lt15i red light
lt15i always red light help ,pc connect use usb cable but pc does not recognize

A total NO! Since Ace 2 is ARMV7 and has Dual-Core 800Mhz processor with different display and so on. While Gio is ARMV6 And has single core 800 Mhz processor! If it was even possible it would take a lot of time to make it boot fix big issues!
Can be possible but requires an hard smali work to complete this
Ok thanks guys! Well I guess that I'll just buy a Ace 2, because I don't really think that someone will make this
Hi everyone! Today our Gio forum has the large image with some specs and description, right? When I read, our gio has other name "Samsung Repp" that only sold in US without Touchwiz and running Vanilla 2.3 Android. Then some questions coming to my head:
- Repp has 1500mAH battery, that's mean if I bought Repp battery somewhere I can use it with my gio? (gio has 1350mAH that is crap)
- Can you give me the detail difference between them? I have compared them (http://pndk.tk/cP) but didn't found any difference
- Can the Gio's Touchwiz ROM installed to Repp?
if u can share a rom from galaxy repp
maybe we can loom in it
