I manually installed Bootanimation zip renaming it sanim.zip and wav sound finding graphics are sized perfectly all looks good.
One problem though , Are device boots to fast so we miss out on end of animation lol.
If you want full effect getting longer boot you will have to clear cache in cwm.
Framerate needs to be sped up little and a flashable zip needs to be made. I will get on this after Im don't with what I'm doing

I have it set to 35 getting android guy at the end opening mouth twice giving 2 chomp perfection.
25 doesn't get to the point.
Maybe dropping a 30 & 35 zip so users can get test narrowing down best fps speed

Not sure about custom kernels but all stock EG30 , EG31 , EK02 & EL13 are stable best to be used.

Can someone post a working link pls? been trying to find this boot animation all day
Links work fine for me.
I flashed the zip but no sound. Any way to get the sound to work?
I am on stock right now (EG30), flashed file but getting sound from previous sprint animation and no picture (dark screen)
Will this work on maddoggin's rom with EL29 and Klyang88 stated 38fps works does anyone have a link for that ?

I have tried 3 different roms on here trying to get the stock battery icon with no percentage, with no luck. Can anyone help? I love the Unamed and Blazer Rom but HATE the percentage battery icon. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Btw I have Rom Tool Pro and have tried that but no battery that has no percentage works with these roms, or does it?
I have a zip with it in my ek02 aio thread. Look for it in dev section.

Well the only way to change the battery is to flash the framework and his framework is probably different than your roms.

Why not do it yourself? Go to the kitchen: http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/ and pick the battery (and other icons) you want, upload the files from whatever rom you're using, wait 5 minutes, and you're good to go.
I've haven't tried this yet with my epic touch but it worked fine for any number of gingerbread roms on my old evo.

ok but how do i add tweaks and different kernels?
Easiest way to copy and paste codes in the build prop, and tweaks in the etc folder. I have no idea how to tweak the kernel. As far as I know you need the source for that.

I wanted to put together a flashable stock ROM for themers and devs to use for whatever purpose they wish. This is based on mrRobinson's root-injected I747 UCALEM system.img (Thank you sir). I have de-odexed, zip-aligned, and left all the glorious AT&T bloat inside. This will not wipe data but it will wipe dalvik cache and media cache so if you flash over a stock install you should not end up with duplicates in gallery, etc.
This is specifically for AT&T and I have no idea what happens if flashed to another carrier phone.
Updated Google apps, Superuser, and added stock boot.img.
Primary Download
CWM Flasher for SMemo and SMemoProvider (Not needed if flashing the above)
Thank you so much. Let the AT&T theming begin...
finally, a totally stock ROM, just deodexed. thanks for making my life much easier!

gave you thanks over there. will have to find them in a deodexed ROM, or just have odexed, which would be weird. ultimatum doesn't have it and i doubt diet ics does either. maybe i can find it in a Sprint/T-Mo ROM lol jeez
edit: actually, SMemo is still in there, but it's missing the odex for the provider lol
edit: will PM you mate, just need those files now, all 4, and i'll make a flashable
Damn, you're right. SMemo should be in /system/app but for some reason it's not showing up as an installed app. That was one of the apks that was giving me fits when de-odexing so I left it and it's odex file in there (Slidehow.apk was the other one).
I'll have to look into that.

I finally figured out why bootanimations no longer work in FI03 (I didn't bother checking FH23, I'm sure it will work for that build too).
I did a diff of all the lib files (there were 33) and narrowed it down to libsurfaceflinger.so. The file is showing a different binary signature between FH13 and FI03 even though they are exactly the same size byte for byte. If you take the file from FH13, custom bootanimation now works. :victory:
Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.
That is the same file you replace to fix the flicker after crt off animation. Nice job, i wonder how it changed to stop boot animations.

Yes, FI25 is working for custom bootanimations again (as long as the kernel you are using has custom bootanimation support).
I have a bunch of custom bootanimations ported over from Rom Toolbox if anyone wants to try them out. The link is in my sig.

Get a ad blocker
When you click the big blue download button it promotes a ad just click back and click it again. No need to extract anything just flash in recovery. There is no malware if that's what you're phone or pc tells you it's an ad download (fake file) which the Internet is full of now. Like saying you have a virus you need to scan your device Blah blah blah. If you can't figure out how to navigate threw ads you probably shouldn't be flashing file, since most likely you keep download malware ad files.
The only reason I used devhost is because I don't really know any hosting sites and gameronone used it, it's free (ad based), and it allows up to 2gbs of upload per-file.
So again
Click blue download only
Click back once to navigate out of the ad
Click blue download again
Recommend CM browser
It's really not hard.
So back to the post .... has anyone else tried flashing the moar rom

What MM file? The one that said test only? I didn't post it cause I was toying around with it and it could brick the device.
Would any one have stock kernel zip? Computer down not able to pull from rom.
