So i got Ps3 controller to work on GTA3 but not all buttons work i think i need to remap the buttons anyone get this to work? all i can do now is walk get in and out of cars and drive.

Hey all.
I've rooted my Sprint Galaxy S3 (SPH-L710) and gotten my PS3 sixaxis controller to connect via bluetooth to my phone.
In different emulator apps I've tried to map the buttons of my controller to work for those apps.
In each of my button mappings, all buttons and the left joystick were mapped of the bat with no problems.
I assumed it was just the controller itself, though, when I synced it back up with my ps3, both analog sticks worked perfectly.
So this brings me to the conclusion that the problem is not with the controller.
Anyone got any idea how to go about fixing this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks all.
Edit: When swapping the axis' in the Sixaxis Controller app, I can remap the right stick swapping the x axis with the z axis and the y axis with the rz axis.
So when I swap those axis from the left stick to the right, I can then use the right stick in my emulator apps and other games.
In essence, I can only get one of the sticks working at a time.

so im having alot of troubles with controllers. i have a old madcatz and a wireless xbox controller
i dont want to root or anything but is there any way to remap the keys without rooting
becouse my madcatz controller is ****ed up when i i use vertical it moves on horizontal
and the xbox doesnt want look but it moves fine

Hi, I've got the d855 g3, I play games on it a lot, a while back I tried using a keyboard and mouse to play gta San andreas, it sort of worked, except for the mouse which just made me keep spinning. I got a wired xbox 360 controller recently and plugged that into my phone. It worked, I tried San andreas again but I had no control of the direction I'd be looking, the camera was circling my character. So then I tried modern combat 5, it didn't work either, it just looked up, whilst all my other buttons and controls worked. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
You can use Sixaxis app with a PS3 controller (Bluetooth) and it will work natively without setting up a controller profile.

That's not really what I meant, it's noth8ng to do with the controller profile, every controller just looks up, whether it's the mouse and keyboard or my wired xbox controller, I dint have a Sony console, so buying a dualshock would be a waste. Have you got a fix for the looking up problem?

Nvm worked it out.had to enter some type of code onto a terminal emulator. Search it on xda forums if you need it.
