i think its more to do with the usb-otg cable we got.
i have a original xoom usb-otg (camera connection kit) which does not work with my GNexus as well.
after some search on the forums, which makes sense, its more of a cable issue.
as the Gnexus has different modes to change into, with extra MHL, usb-host, charging, dock, etc etc,
"the connection between pin 4 and 5 determine, what kind of connection it is: charging, sync, usb otg, mhl, trigger download mode... and indeed, that is done by putting in different resistor strengths."
i just ordered another plain usb-otg from ebay, and finger crossed, this might work.

Is there any way for me to use bluetooth to talk on my phone with the audio jack plugged into my car? My headset is better than the speakerphone option, and right now I have to unplug the headphone jack every time I get a phone call.
I did a quick search and couldn't find an answer to this. I am not using the OEM Samsung dock (though I will buy one if it fixes the problem).

I'm trying to unroot my phone from CM9 alpha 5 because of some issues with the phone not fully shutting down, poor battery life and notifications not working when I get text messages.
However, my computer is not recognizing my phone at all. It charges but that's about it. I've tried reinstalling drivers, using different cables, and the USB switcher app but still not having any luck.

Flashed back to stock and usb mass storage is still not working
Have you found any solution to this ? I have a STAR N9500 4.2.1 which is not recognised at all when pluged via usb i don't even get the icons in the status bar , it just charge like it is plugged to the AC charger, I've turned back to basic settings but no luck any help please ?
Try a different cable, make sure you have the correct drivers on your computer, download Zatta USB Switcher from the Play Store.

Yes it will work but don't waste your money because you can get one for $3 that does the same job, and the cheap ones are usually smaller and lighter so more practical.

GENIUS! easy way to "change" carriers... but does it work?
Hi everyone,
So as the tittle says my phone isn't being recognized. I think this is due to the fact that I enabled fast charge ONE time and now ever since it won't let me access my internal SD card. Does anybody have any idea of what I can do? Thanks in advance
If it helps I'm running orca project with Trinity kernel.
I've been looking around I read that reflashing the ROM might fix it but I only wanna have to do this as a last resort if somebody doesn't know what to do.

If it helps I think that my USB port is broken in some way. It charges but I can't get my phone recognized on 2 different computers even after flashing 2 different ROMs. So I ended up using air droid to copy all files to my computer then to my Nexus 4.

I did a search in this forum about the bluetooth problems and I see a bunch of users with the same problem I have... I have the latest OTA update on my galaxy nexus and cannot pair my phone with my Pioneer AppRadio in my car via bluetooth, it discovers the radio and as soon as I click to pair, it skips the sign up box and just comes up WRONG PASSWORD OR PASS KEY, and after scouring the net for solutions I have yet found one besides going down to the previous version, I can do that, and dont mind it, but I have a soft spot for custom rom's on android phones.
Here's my main question: I need a good stable ROM that bluetooth will work with, and also one that will work with 4G LTE, can someone please lead me in the right direction?
Little about me: I know how to flash items in custom recovery just fine. I have owned 2 previous android phones: evo4g, and galaxy S2, and both were updated regularly with custom ROMs. I had a leaked version of HTC sense5.0 on the evo, the charger port came loose from the motherboard I upgraded to the galaxy S2, you should have seen the sprint store rep when he saw it! haha
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP!!
I'm pretty sure GNex lacks the hardware for LTE, so custom ROM's won't give you that ability.
