My stock browser disappeared - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

After being bored of the stock rom, i flashed calks rom, with the ics theme on top of that. However, i seem to have lost my stock browser somewhere in the process. I didnt check if i lost it after flashing calks rom or the ics theme. What can i do?

I downloaded and installed that apk successfully, but i still cant see the icon. I know i have the browser on my phone, because if i open the flash player settings, it opens the browser. I just dont have the icon in the app drawer to open the browser

Stock messaging app?

Hey I flashed to a 2.2 custom rom and that rom uses the galaxy s messaging app and I wanted to see if someone can post the stock messaging app (green icon)? I'm not too fond of the new messaging app and would like to go back.

Look for the non bubble messaging app here in the theme section. If you can't find it both themes in my sig uses the none bubble app. You cab either flash the full theme it delete everything from the zip leaving mms.apk

Text selection in browser on syndicate 1.0.1

I've flashed 1.0.1 of the acs syndicate rom and noticed that I don't have any way to select more than one word at a time using the stock browser. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

You have to just copy it to system/app with root explorer and reboot. I am pretty sure you have to use TWLauncher only as well but someone correct me if I am wrong on that.

Thanks kenny, I did exactly what you said and still no love....but I also have adw launcher. I like adw enough that it isn't worth changing just for the widget....sigh...

There is a thread that has TW apps you can flash....don't remember which of the top of my head. I have the program monitor itself and it works but no widget love with it.
On cm9....

Yeah I think the widget for that and a few other Samsung ones are tied to TWlauncher. There are other programs available from the market that have similiar widgets like Memory Booster Lite is the one I use.

How to restore dialer pad icon on CM10

I did a clean install of cm10 preview. Never touched the modern. Flashed nightly 18 and JusTunBean inverted apps.
After reboot the phone icon that sits in the launch tray disappeared. How do I get that back?
I reverted to back up and the icon reappeared but when pressed it said app not installed.
Anyone?
Tried installing it from the system/app folder and still nothing. I can get to the dial pad from the messaging app so i know it's there and working so where is the icon for the launch tray so i can launch the it from directly...this is driving me nuts!

Nope. Man, I'd hate to Odin all the way back to stock. I've done three by the book flashes and its never come back.

Replace the phone.apk and contacts.apk with the ones from your cm10 ROM. Or take them out of the justinbean gapps. Its more than likely the contacts.apk that is not comparable with your phone, which will break the phone.apk and make it disappear. Once you do that boot to cwm and do a full wipe. Then flash ROM and then justinbean gapps and reboot and all will be good in the hood.

Stock messaging app

I'm looking for a flashable zip of the stock touch wiz messaging app, I love my rom (Moar rom) but I don't care for the tweaks made to the messaging app, if someone could point me the right way that would be great, I didn't see anything when I searched.

In themes and apps. There's a aosp thread, I that he has a back to stock messaging. Delete the molded one before flashing. Or change it to .bak or whatever
