HTC Desire Flash not work properly

I'm pretty sure I wasn't imagining things but I successfully went on megavideo and watched an episode of the scrubs (=P) but now when I try it says this type of flash is not supported :S and on Youtube it used to load videos fullscreen when I pressed play but now it says Go Upgrade...
Is this due to a new firmware update? I heard a new one was released but I never went through any installing process.
I'd like my megavideo and Youtube back! =O Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
I've noticed video on the BBC website isn't working now either which it was working fine before.....
same thing here, youtube videos says, go upgrade....
The desire runs flash lite version 4. YouTube, iPlayer and most other flash apps run on the full version of flash, 10.1. Some things in 10.1 won't be backward compatible with Flash lite 4, so won't display correctly, or even run atall. When Android gets flash support officially it will run 10.1 but for now,you will have to do with the app variants.
ah but why could I view them before?

I know that iPlayer won't work and never has, but the other videos for example clips on the BBC News site always worked fine and now they dont.

I think they might have updated their application, and perhaps increased the minimal version number needed. That would explain why you get that message now.
I've been getting this too, been trying to load videos from various sources, as flash seemed to work in Farmville on facebook (I almost died when I saw it loaded up), and now nothing, the only ones that work for me are youtube videos, which I believe are handled through the HTC Streaming app. All other flash files on sites just give me the yellow '!' triangle, not a pretty sight at all.

I've also had this problem.
BBC website works fine on my Desire, as does playing a full flash movie. Try this:
http://www.spschat.com/Shocked/ep01.swf (it's funny btw, if you like South Park)
Just watched that full screen with no issues over 3G
UStream.tv doesn't though - get a triangle

Original BBC iplayer app (live bbc) - Download!

This is not the new iPlayer (which is basically a link to the web site).
This is the original app that allows you to watch bbc 1 and 2 live, as-well as previously aired programmes...
Enjoy
MJ-12
? I have no problem watching live tv or other older programmes with the latest app!

[Q] grooveshark html5 issue

Hello everybody
I am a new owner of a samsung galaxy note and an addict of html5 grooveshark
I used to listen to groove shark on my htc sensation (ICS) and now it's impossible to use the html5 grooveshark on the galaxy note 2.
I tried several browsers (chrome, firefox, dauphin) , i tried to install flash player, I wipped my phone and installed revolution HD, I tried all of this on wifi and 3g and I still have the same problem :
when I select a song to play , or a have a continuous download circle or the song wont play and jump directly to the next one.
I tried the grooveshark app and it works (for the radio) but since the html5 web site should work, I am not really busy to pay for something I can get for free.
Does anybody faced this situation ?
Thank for your help

Thank you for your answer
I tried tiny shark and it's working.
But it is strange the the html5 website is not working on a brand new phone.
Do you have the same issue on your phone?

I do on the ATT version.
The app itself barely works too.
Not sure what happened. They haven't updated it in a while. Still at 2.7.1

Why doesn't a YouTube embedded video play in Chrome on my Tab Pro?

Using Chrome, if I a on a forum and someone has posted a message with a YouTube video I get a gray box that says plugIn is not supported.
If I go to the same post using Chrome on my Moto X the video starts playing as it should.
Any idea why and how I can fix if possible? Moto X is on 5.0 and Tab Pro is on 4.4.2.
Thanks
I think you have to install Flash manually: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installing-flash-player-android-devices.html
Why it works on your Moto X, I don't know. Adobe stopped supporting Flash on Android some time ago; and it likewise has not typically been included as a pre-installed plugin for sometime (or even available on the Play Store).

Still doesn't work, I remember trying this a while ago with no luck. Installed the latest version of flash player from Adobe site for 4.0 but video still doesn't play in chrome.
I've had better luck with flash on Dolphin browser. Google adobe flash for 4.4. There are plenty of downloads out there. I have not had success with the versions from the Adobe site (be sure to uninstall the one you downloaded from there) . Go into settings in dolphin browser and make sure the flash setting is Always On.

Like I said, I don't know if Chrome even support Flash anymore. As the above suggests, Dolphin browser does, and I believe Firefox as well.

Thanks, I remember having to setup Dolphin browser to watch amazon videos on my old tablet.
I just wish Chrome on my Tab Pro worked like Chrome on my Moto X, which does show the videos in the browser. So strange that it works on one but not the other.

When I go to the link on my tablet it says html5 will be used but if I go to site on my phone it says default player will be used.
Any idea how to change that setting on my tablet? Looking through chrome and YouTube app settings and I don't see anything.
Thanks!

Music streaming apps not working

Hi,
On my Amazon Fire phone, all music streaming apps excepts Spotify and Amazon music are not playing songs.
Like- Deezer, wync etc.
Please somebody knows how to fix that?
Thanks
Anybody can please confirm that its a common issue or just me?
Or if somebody knows fix , then plz let me know.
Yes, I can confirm deezer not working with stock firmware. However I can tell that on nexus rom works without problem. I think it's fire stock rom the problem here.
I also can confirm this. I have an account for deezer an can´t use it with my firephone. The only way I found to install it form amazon shop directly. This is an old version but it works.
Has anybody a solution to install it from google play store?
I've had this problem with Deezer , I've downloaded an older version from APK Mirror (v5.1.2.31) and now it's working fine, just don't let google play update it with a newer version
