Anyone as know why S/E, is still on kernel 2.6.32?.
Everyone else is running 2.6.35 with GingerBread.
I've read that it has a great importance with newer kernel
//dong
In fact, the Linux system is already on 3.1.5 (stable)
Froyo Kernel 2.6.32 (S/E still on this)
Gingerbread Kernel 2.6.35
Honeycomb Kernel 2.6.36
ICS Kernel 3.0.8
I hope S/E update kernel to the newest, this time.

Is there one? I'm currently running Chad's 12/23 on a custom Froyo ROM, and really want to switch over to a Gingersense ROM, but when I flashed the leaked stock Gingerbread ROM it wouldn't boot with the 12/23 kernel. There aren't really any other Sense kernel's here anymore that aren't very outdated, and Chad's thread says that his latest Gingerbread kernel's don't play well with Sense.
Can anyone point me to a kernel that has multitouch enabled and works fine on Gingerbread with Sense?
For the Q & A Forum.
No, not until the official GB with Sense source is released.
The only kernel that'll work with GingerSense right now is the one it comes with. HTC hasn't dropped the source code for GB sense kernels yet. Once they do, there will be a bunch of custom kernels out there for us.
Sent from my Droid Incredible running a random CM7 nightly.
Chad @incredikernel said that he may work on a kernel for gingersense next week.

I try all the kernel listed but the problem still not yet resolve.
Try to reflash the ROM and if that does not help then probably is a hardware problem.
Hi DEVs. Can anyone make OC kernel for STOCK 2.26.401.3 ROM ? There are only einstein.frat's old kernels which are not supported for 2.26.
I'm using his did kernel 8.8 I think and its perfect, what gave you the impression they don't work?
Any kernel build for Android 2.3.5 works just fine.
Einstein.frat told me that Dust and Cake are old kernels and this kernels not working with 2.26 update. He is on androidforums.com.
Btw: Will it working properly if I flash some OC kernel over another OC kernel (e.g. dust over cake) or I have to return to stock kernel from nand backup ?
Yes it should work fine, and trust me dust is working perfectly with no bad effects, all good @806MHz
can some 1 give me a link for nAa kernel v 2.6
i remeber when i used it with jb 4.2.2 i didnt get any lag or reboots at all
nAa only made 3.0.8 and 3.4.48 kernel for Arc/Arc S. 2.6.32.60 kernel was only for MDPI devices.
Try fusion kernel. One of the best 2.6 kernels.
Hi guys,
Our kernel version is 2.6.32.9
My question is what about if we go up to 2.6.35.14 or higher (not 3.x kernel)?? will we get better performance?? And what is the lastest release for GB Kernels 2.x.x.x??
