Somebody was looking for a semi-transparent Genie Widget. This was my ham-fisted attempt to theme it so that I could simulate the Samsung weather clock without running touchwhiz, posted here on the off chance somebody may have a use for it.

Thanks, glad you could use it, I've attached a tweaked version that makes it a little smaller (obviously not a big deal on our phones) and gives it more of a Samsung color scheme.
I have been looking for this for a while but forgot about it until now. Thanks.

the touchwiz ripped from the galaxy s III is pretty cool and a lot better then the stock one on our phone! i would use it for more then the one day if it work with the DPI @ 160 >.< .... what do you guys think do you use it? have you used anything else from the galaxy s III?

It's got cool animations. A ics style app drawer.. folders... I think it looks better than tw4 since our screen is pretty damn big.

considering the fact that the gs3 is being launced with ICS, yes, you need ICS.

Looks pretty much like the stock ICS launcher w/ the 5 column tweak and a different icon for the app menu.

Nope won't work unless someone puts a ton of work into it. Needs a ics tw rom.

I downloaded the 4*5 one. I didn't flash, I put the lib file in system/lib and copied the system/app files, fixed permissions and reboot. I needed to make a bit of room in 'system' and I wouldn't bother trying calendar as op says it forcecloses. Launcher runs silky smooth though - my new favorite.
Curious if anyone is trying to get this stuff on our device with tw framework.

I've been rocking the GSIII Launcher and Weather Widget for a few weeks now, haven't shared it with any of you because i've been caught up with life, and I also don't know how to make an updater script to make it cwm flashable, but i'll get on it tonight! Someone pm me and remind me later. I always check xda, even when i forget to post something.

Yeah i know, macb1997 right? he posted it like twice, it didnt work right for me the first time, and i didnt want to bother with his second thread, i'll probably post my own with the highlight being the sgs iii weather widget, much like my other thread (sgs 2 weather widget )many have used it, even from other devices.

I've been looking for a working sense 4 clock that can display the weather...
I have this clock that i got on xda its called sense 4 clock but the weather feature doesn't work as it was an initial release and i would like a working version if anyone can help me it would be great...

i gave up a while back too haha. i really think sense is the only truly nice looking clock widget, and it's not available except on htc phones. all the beautiful/fancy widgets are ugly rip offs that don't really look the same (and certainly don't function the same). oh well.
