stay away.
They Are VERY easily damaged by a stylus. I'm talking barely no pressue at all, and theres permenant damage to the screen due to the stylus. It's almost like the top layer is being ripped as my stylus is dragging across it.
Just thought i'd try to save ya'all some money
thanks for the warning

Maybe you got a bad batch? I have used this brand for many phones, cameras, and mp3 players, and have had no problems.
Thanks for the advice
I bought in the past in proporta.com and they are good
Thank you for the warning, I am looking to get a good screen protetor so now I know to take this off the list
The BEST screen protectors are Expert Shield. You should be able to get one for around $7 with shipping on ebay.
I have one on all of my electronics.
What is wrong with Screen Patronus!?!
I would say the complete opposite. They make the best screen protectors, as they are easy to apply and have minimal impact on touch screen performance.
As a matter of fact, I think my Touch Pro's touch screen actually works better with the Screen Patronus protector on it, than it did before.
Would recommend highly.
I second that, I''ve used many different brands for the past 5 years. I found screenpatronus works best. it's super clear, it's hardly can tell it's even there once it's on..

I'm a fan of the Invisible Shield from ZAGG. Easy to apply and once it's there, after a few says it just disappears. Resists fingerprints, too.
Screen Patronus looks great when new, goes on perfectly, but it scratches very easily. I would need to replace it monthly to be happy with how it looks, which would amount to about $72 per year!
Hi guys,
I'm thinking about buying one of these to try:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Privacy-...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item2a160c910e
Has anyone had any experience with this type of screen protector.
It's not that I have anything to hide on my phone....I think it would prob look kinda cool
I have a vikuiti one on my HTC HD2 and it worked pretty well if you had the screen in portrait mode, someone either side would pretty much just see black. BUT someone standing in front looking down would see clearly. So the privacy works only in one plane of view. Screen clarity was reasonably good from the direct on viewing angle though bright sun made it harder to see, but the HD2 didn't have amoled. It's lasted pretty well, almost 2 years and has collected a few scratches, no issues with touch input either.
I did get a replacement, can't recall the brand but came as a set of 2 or 3, lower cost and "clearer" rather than seeming to have a tint. Didn't work very well, screen image was ok but it impaired touch input a lot, loss of sensitivity and accuracy etc, so chucked it and put the old one back on.
Can't comment on the one you linked as it doesn't say what brand it is, so only way to know more would be to ask them for more details and try one out. Personally I'd say beware of the cheaper ones though.

Hi All,
Currently have a One X, love the phone, apart from the battery life and the locked bootloader. However it has managed to "gain" two 1 cm scratches that are really quite deep and very visible.
So I now have a Blue S3 on order, due with me on Monday, and I don't want to find myself in the same boat in terms of screen scratches, I just can't deal with having the screen messed up (maybe I'm a bit OCD).
Anyway, to the moral of the story, can people please give me suggestions for the best screen protector for the S3, I want to protect but I don't want to take anything away from the screen, I remember putting a zagg on an iPhone 4s, and it took the edge of the clarity of the display, and I don't want that at all for the S3.
I have searched and can't find a similar thread, apologies if there is.
Help greatly appreciated.

Wow, useless thread and that too in wrong section.
Press the "Thanks" button below if I've helped.
I think screen gards don't cost more than a dollar
What's the issue in trying one, but it's not a major thing to start a thread that too so big and huge

Hi, my s3 glass scratched within a week, thankfully around the home button, not the display & I'm pretty obsessively careful. I bought the otterbox commuter case and installed the included screen protector. I can see no effect on the brightness or clarity of the screen, but it was a bugger to get on right & only just covers the display area of the glass, leaving a lip that my finger catches on when I'm swiping from the edges of the screen. It's pretty annoying but I'll live with it for the protection, a bit like using a condom!

Jees, gotta love those folk who feel the need to take the time to post not 1, but 2 totally pointless and non helpful replies, when posting 1 helpful reply or adopting the "I have nothing good to say so I won't say anything" mantra would save him and everyone else the time.
I was hoping for a decent response, so I can order 1 now, so it arrives in time for the phone, which was Monday. So I don't have to go any time without protection, and get a scratch like 1 poster mentions.
IMO the best one is the clear one as i tried many, stay away from the matt or antiglare cause it cause a washed screen and dimmed colours.
They are selling it on ebay a pack of 6 for 3 pounds. hope that will help you
I've had done generic one which came with my case, a momax one and now I'm into a barely there.
The barely there is the best of the ones I've tried. It's matt finish so it does change the look of the screen slightly, it is a tiny but blurred now, but it's quite a small effect and once gotten used to it. The positive effects of using a matt protector are that my screen has no glare or reflection in the light now, making it easier to read when a light source is shining onto it. Also, while the glossy ones quickly become covered in fingerprints, they are quite hard to spot in this one.
It seems to be of decent strength and thickness. Have me a slightly better overlap in the edges than the first two I tried. Worked out cheaper as well ... for a twin pack for the same price as the one momax.

Matte screen protector
I ordered a matte protector for my S3.
Looked and felt really nice, kept finger prints off, but at the end of the day after a week or so i wanted to look at the screen with nothing on it at all. Looks far better.
Maybe a sock or something to keep it in is better than a protector ??

Mine also scratched at the home button, to be more spesific, at the back butto.
I think the best so far is the sgp nano clear.
Hey guys
Just got the phone today after a long two years with the galaxy s3 and im very impressed over the improvement over the S3 and im glad that I picked this device.
I've noticed that if you look at the light senser on the front that there appears to be what looks like a a screen protecter. Is this correct?
Thank you
I think that is just part of the screen that extends over the speaker, sensor, and camera. Plus the screen responds like it is unprotected. I hate screen protectors so you had me scratching on my trying to see if anything would peel off.
I think that's just the way the phone is - I also hate screen protectors and you had me worried.. made me triple-check my phone lol.

Haha sorry looking into it, seems to be a small protecter over the light sensor.
Hey all,
I've had the G4 for about 3 weeks and the screen sensitivity is my only gripe. It sometimes takes several taps to get it to respond and when scrolling in various apps it will not always respond. Like many others I have a glass screen protector and I've read a few times that people think that might be part of the issue. I want to test this without destroying the current protector I have by removing it. I have also noticed that if I need to push for several seconds on the same spot (mainly for long pressing on the keyboard) my finger will move around slightly and not always tap the area I was aiming for.
Anyone else remove their glass screen protector and notice better performance? Or maybe switching to a non-glass protector? It can be frustrating when thinking you tapped the screen and then doing it again and again.
I went to return my phone, peeled off the screen protector, and the difference was huge. Still very weak touch response even without a protector, though. Less sensitive than a Samsung or iPhone anyways. I decided to just get used to it and it doesn't really bother me as much anymore. I went with a warranty replacement to be safe anyways, and it does seem to be a little better than my previous phone. Still a much weaker touch response than my S4 ever had, but i will say that my gf's iPhone 5 is much worse with her thicker glass protector (i bought a really thin .2mm one, which has already spidered within a week xP)
Thanks for the response Ryan. I'll probably remove the glass protector as well then. I bought the one that Verizon offered which I think is a generic brand. It looks great on the phone but with this issue it's not worth it. Thanks again!
Just a quick update. I replaced my glass screen protector with this one from Spigen and it is noticeably better. As Ryan mentioned previously, still not perfect which I believe is something that LG needs to work on. The phone is not as responsive as it should be. The previous glass protector was too thick and this Spigen one makes a huge difference. I still occasionally have to tap twice but this at least makes me want to throw the phone less.
I use an Invisashield and I haven't had a single issue with touch responsiveness. I just got my phone a few days ago so maybe it's got something different. I don't know.
